[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cozy place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner is really nice and accommodating. We ordered baked green mussels and cucumber salad to start. For our mains we got the philly roll, lobster roll, and scallop roll. Green Mussels- The mussels were fresh and baked in a mayo sauce, finished with eel sauce. Savory with a slightly sweet finish. Cucumber Salad- This dish makes a lovely palate cleanser. It is zesty, with a light crunch to the cucumbers that give it a layer of texture. Philly Roll- The fish was fresh and meaty. The cream cheese filling and avocado gives each bite a lovely creaminess. Lobster Roll- Crawfish pieces were fried until crisp but slightly chewy inside. The sauce is rich with a slightly sweet finish. Scallop Roll- Scallops are nice and tender. You get it mixed with a generous amount of crab and topped over california rolls. Great experience overall!

Highly recommend checking out Koco sushi! Their extensive selection of creative rolls is amazing. We kept ordering more and more because everything was so great and hit the spot. Highly recommend trying out the playboy roll and seared salmon! I believe the owner and her son served us and they were both super sweet and attentive. It was sooo hard finding a sushi party platter in Orange county until I saw this place on yelp! The quality and quantity is reasonable for a party platter I got the tray d which come combine with tray c for $130 i believe. It was good and fresh. The service was so nice and friendly. Enjoyed the hot night roll, tteokbokki, and Jun roll. Street parking on the side of the building and would definitely go back for a quick sushi fix. Quick service with friendly staff members. Didn't have to ask for refill in water or wait long for the food.

The Fresh assorted sushi, tasty crunchy roll, tiger rolls, teriyaki chicken, chicken karaage & salads are beautifully prepared with flowers and entertained all of our office staff! They're ready for another sushi lunch for another event. Great food!

The food is always extremely tasty, there are never any leftovers when we come to this restaurant. The service is quick and ambiance is always pleasant. You can tell that the store owners have been running this place for a while as they're a well oiled machine. My fav item is usually the standard spicy ramen + a sushi side combo, which is just an awesome deal. Would always be willing to come back, great vibes, tasty food and reasonably priced!

This place is so consistent and delicious. They have a wide variety of rolls and sushi options and options for people who don't like fish or raw seafood. I personally love the Santa Ana roll and the unagi have also ordered the salmon skin roll and salad both are delicious as well the albacore roll is awesome too. The service here is the best sense of friendly place easy parking my new favorite sushi spot.

This place was amazing! I can't tell you if I've ever left a yelp review, but I spent 2 weeks in Japan this summer and this is the best sushi I've had since. Good price for the lunch special. I ordered through Yelp and it was ready for pick up when it said it would be. No street parking in front so I parked around the corner and ran back before anyone noticed I didn't pay for the meter. Sushi was good but I'm going to try more dishes to have a more accurate review. read more

I like Koco Suchi. One of the better fast food Japanese restaurants. Their bento box meals is a great deal & let's me mix & match my favorite things to eat. Doesn't look like much because of the location. When I first saw it I wasn't convinced and also Parking is tricky .. but I decided to give it a try and omg it is good! My bf ordered Ramen and the Godzilla roll and I ordered the Udon and the Main St Roll. Everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I also ordered the House Milk Tea and it was yummy.. The lady that took our order was very nice. It's not a fancy place but the food is good. It's a nice casual sushi place that we will be adding to our list of regular spots read more

Went in to try a new sushi place, and was absolutely blown away! Walked in on a Sunday morning and was kindly greeted and welcomed in. We were so hungry and immediately started ordering. Started off with a crispy tuna which was so delicious as well as the seaweed salad. The salmon delight was so buttery and melted in your mouth. The extra spicy tuna roll was insanely hot, so don't order unless you love spice! It had us sweating. Not pictured was the eel and avocado roll which was quickly eaten. Wow what can I say, this place is amazingly delicious!! I tried the Baked Lobster Roll OMGGG if you're a lobster fan it's a must you try it :) The Gayozas were perfect and crispy, best I've tried. The salad was nice and fresh with perfect amount of dressing. And the cherry on top was the service, it was perfect, beginning with appetizers all the way till the end, the hospitality was 100% Definitely coming back :)!!!!! read more

It's a little hidden, but definitely a hidden gem. I'm a huge sushi lover, and my original sushi place I go to was closed the day I went. I went in on a Sunday, ordered the love roll, the salmon lover, spicy garlic edamame, and a salmon sushi combo. All of the rolls were fantastic. The fish was fresh, tender, and delicious. I got there a little early, and the lady at the front greeted me so kindly and gave me some hot fresh edamame on the house while I waited. This is hands down the best sushi spot I've tried. This is now my new sushi spot. I would definitely give it a try! read more

I took that part home and my wife loved it. I tend to avoid the fatty meat and tendons are not good to me. 10 of us so some of the appetizers got passed around. The smashed cucumbers are excellent, and my buddy also got some friend potatoes of sorts, reminded me of a fat French fry. Because my buddy and I sat at the same table we scanned the same menu, he ordered a bunch of stuff and also House Special Beef Pot Roodle. That confused the kitchen and they asked me if I meant to order 2, I said no and didn't realize I cancelled my buddy's order. Part of the confusion of a large party and many scanned menu orders. My buddy was struggling to order and our initial waiter seemed to not understand my friend and that took a little bit to work out, young lady came from the back and was able to quickly resolve some of the confusion and get questions answered as needed. In the end he had lot of food to explore. One thing that caught my eye was several couples there and sharing a large soup item served with a tray of various food items for the soup. Kind of a date night visual and something that looked very interesting. Several couples around us had that same dish and its got me more curious. We ordered their popular Traditional Hand-pulled beef noodle soup and the Big Plate Chicken with Noodles dish they were known for. I wasn't a fan of the traditional hand pulled noodle soup but the big plate chicken with noodle dish was pretty good. Everyone's favorite noodle dish was the Stir-Fried Shanxi Knif-Cut Noodles though. It was super flavorful and delicious. For protein, my favorite was their orange chicken. We all found the Kung Pao chicken to be wayyyy to salty. It was edible with the stir fried cabbage though. The lady working there was really nice and made sure to bring us everything we needed. She also refilled our waters. The pricing of food is super affordable and portions were pretty large. We had some food left over and was able to to bring some home. The inside like I mentioned is very casual. They even had a to go section where you can pick up pre-made foods. There's payment through the kiosk or you can pay with the cashier. It was good experience for a casual lunch.

One thing that really stood out, though, was the condiment station. The chili oil, fresh chilies, and sauces looked dirty, and after tables were cleaned, the serving spoons and sauce dishes weren't replaced. I actually had to grab them from another table myself. Overall, I'd come back for the food because it was genuinely good, but the service and overall atmosphere could definitely use some improvement.

Came here for the first time the other day for dinner with my boss and coworkers. We were looking for some sushi spots in the area and saw this was a new business and thought "why not, let's try it out". And gotta say it was quite the good choice! We actually ordered a lot more and we were so hungry, that we forgot to take photos of everything. BUT everything we ordered was so good. Although, I cannot remember everything we ordered, glad I took some photos of the orders to share. And everything is fairly reasonably priced that you'll leave with a satisfied stomach! We started off with a salad appetizer to share and honestly that was pretty good start. The sauce had some sort of sweet dressing, def an asian dressing and everything inside was very fresh. If you like asian salads, you'll enjoy this. As for the fish, everything was really fresh tasting. If you like nice and simple sushi eating like me, you'll definitely appreciate the nigiris. Tuna, Salmon, Eel, Shrimp, Yellowtail, and Albacore were all really good in quality! They also throw in some Korean pickled dishes for some orders but definitely ask for that if you get a chance, as it goes quite well with the sushi! Lastly, to wash everything down, we ordered a tempura udon at the end and that was a nice finishing touch to our meal. Recommend if you still got some room for more food haha Overall, my boss and coworkers were all glad I chose this spot to eat. The place is small with not much dining tables as it appears they are more focused on To-Go orders. So if i ever come back, I will most likely call in advance to place an order and just take back the food to eat at home! BUT if you do decide to eat inside, there is available street parking on the side of the restaurant. Be sure to carry some quarters as it's meter parking. Unsure if there are other public parking spots nearby, if there are I probably missed them LOL Regardless, friendly workers and chef, great service, delicious food, and good small spot I found! read more

Koco is right by my school, and I often have to be in the area for long days due to extra classes and rehearsals. Me and my friends come here often for 'linner' on our break between school and extra practices/extracurriculars. The staff is amazing! They are so kind to us students, and all of their 'locals'! When we came back to campus for this recent semester from summer, they hugged us and welcomed us back when they saw us, which I thought was so thoughtful! As for the food, the sushi is amazing! When I'm looking to get something fast an lower-priced, I typically go with the basic rolls & hand rolls, like the California rolls and Philadelphia rolls. However, when I want something else, I like to do the playboy rolls and the Angel rolls. Their chicken is great too! Typically whatever I am feeling that day, they have an option to match! I've had so many amazing experiences at this place, in which I am so grateful for! I highly recommend!!! read more

This spot definitely gives off mom-and-pop vibes, but just know there's no sushi bar seating here. The service was solid--quick and efficient, perfect if you're trying to get in and out fast. That said, the ambiance leans more fast-food joint than date night. As for the food, it was mid. The scallops had a bit of a fishy taste (not ideal), but the salmon and yellowtail sushi were decent. The crunchy roll was solid--big and tasty--but the beef teriyaki was a major miss. It tasted like it came straight from a bottle, super processed and lacking flavor. Definitely skip the beef bowl and try something else if you go. Overall, it's just okay. It works if you need something fast, but if you're looking for a vibe or memorable experience, this ain't it. read more

This sushi spot is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about the food and their customers. The fish quality is excellent, especially for the price. Everything tasted super fresh, they have perfectly seasoned rice, and beautifully presented rolls. The spicy garlic edamame is a must order. Perfectly cooked, tossed in a garlicky, spicy sauce that's totally addictive and the best I've ever had at a sushi spot. Overall, this place has great food, great prices, and great vibes. Don't think, just go here. This is a hole in the wall with great food. Lunch special sushi plate was presented nicely and extremely fresh. California rolls + Salmon, yellowtail, tuna, shrimp, and mackerel (?) all excellent. I was pleasantly surprised. Had bulgogi, katsu, and shrimp tempura in the bento. Everything was delicious.
