We ordered a couple of coffee boxes for an event and they were delivered without cups. Event was ruined.

They call me Sprinkles... I am not entirely sure what possessed me to go to Krispy Kreme. This Covid 19 lockdown already has me packing on the pounds! Still sugar is so awesome, especially in the morning. I'm also going somewhat out of my mind. I need something to raise my spirits even if it expands my waistline... Right now Krispy Kreme is doing a brisk business by way of their curbside service and drive thru. I never even considered drive thru donuts before, but it actually was pretty cool. The menu board is large and you can just rattle off whatever you want. And rattle I did! I ended up getting a dozen of the various donuts! Again why? It's not like they aren't all basically going to go in my belly! Sigh... Anyways drive thru process is pretty fast. And they pack up the donuts into a nice box for easy transport. It might help to get there earlier because when I went they were out of a few donuts that I wanted to order. They still had plenty to pick from though. Of course I had to order a donut with sprinkles! Made me think back to a simpler time when I could hang out with those I cared about. Now, loved ones get pics of me feeding my face! The chocolate sprinkles was a delicious indulgence. So buttery! The New York cheesecake was a bit too sweet for my liking. The standout is the original donut filled with crepe. It is ridiculously tasty. Like a donut Twinkie! While I'm sad I'll be getting even fatter after this purchase, I'm glad I was able to brighten my day with fun interesting treats! To me this donut place is nothing special. I actually prefer the donut place that is located in the same parking lot but I lost out in this mornings vote...majority rules...boo! Then again, I love donuts so guess this place will do. We waited in the drive thru line for about 25 mins to get a dozen assorted donuts. It was early enough in the morning so I had expected them to have all the donuts that they advertise. Yay! They did! Once I placed my order, the line seemed to go pretty fast. When we got the donuts the box was nice and warm. Fantastically fresh! Yum! Everyone enjoyed the donuts but we have some left over and I swear they are calling my name...ugh...must resist! It was difficult to find the Pac Man Limited Edition donuts in the San Diego area. I found that the Carmel Valley store had them available online, so I ordered for pickup to ensure I got them. I drove 15 miles out of my way. The staff was supper friendly, but the donuts were stale. Pac Man donuts were not edible. I would not have tried this store if I read the reviews. I'll stick to either the Krispy Kreme's closer to my home or not at all. read more

I have mixed feelings about this location because there is literally a mom and pop donut shop that has been in this same plaza for over a decade. I feel it's poor form to open a donut shop in the same plaza where another one already operates. Many locals feel similarly. That said, I admit to infrequently patronizing this shop as I enjoy a sweet treat and the drive-thru convenience is hard to beat. During my few visits, the service has been prompt and the donuts have been fresh. Nothing rave over, but also nothing to rant about. I would feel better about coming in more often if this shop was at least in another plaza. read more

Hey, it was a good doughnut and a pretty good cup of coffee. What can I say? The cinnamon sugar doughnut was great. It had a great ration of cinnamon to sugar on top. It was well made with a nice slight crisp exterior but soft and inviting inside. The coffee was a medium roast and easy to drink. I added just a touch of whole milk and I was a happy camper. 4/12/21 Please check your order before paying. Usually thr box is closed when you pay for it. I ordered 1 chocolate glazed donut with krispy kreme filling, 1 cinnamon sugar. What i got from the box was 1 strawberry sprinkle and 2 original. I felt sad for the buyer who wanted 3 donuts if their family is expecting three donuts and coming home with 2 flavors. For me its all sugar but i really came for the cinnamon sugar and the chocolate. When you crave it matters. As for the cashier who didn't let me see the donut, i hope if the person before me managed to go back and argue with them, be a lesson for this branch. I had to let it go because we ate the donut as a dessert after dinner. Around an hour or two after we bought the donuts. This is my first sad experience with krispykreme at this branch. :( read more

I picked up my free dozen for my birthday, which I only recently found out about! The donuts taste so good when they're hot out off the belt! They are literally fluffy clouds that melt when you bite into them. The shop wasn't crowded and actually pretty quiet for krispy kremes, and the staff were super quick. I have never had such bad service at Krispy Kreme as I had today. The attitudes of the people working at Krispy Kreme are just ridiculous. I went through the drive-through to pick up donuts on my way to work as I've done many times at this Krispy Kreme. I had always been greeted with a smile and kindness. Today with Saqib, a total different experience, a terrible attitude when I drove up. And then because I needed a receipt because I was using my corporate card and her receipt printer was down her attitude got even worse when I had to ask for the receipt. So then she had me drive out and wait in front of the building. Then I had to call in in order for them to remember I was out front waiting on the receipt. When I called someone else Isabella answered the phone who informed me that they were very busy and she didn't know when I would get the receipt. How unacceptable is this for Customer Service. You just don't see this kind of Customer Service in Carmel Mountain. And it's really a shame because there's another donut place right in the same parking lot that I will be choosing going forward. The donuts are not cheap and with the competition around them you would think the store manager would hire people who can smile and have a friendly attitude. To add when she walked to my car with the receipt she made sure her face and attitude let me know how disgusted she was to have to print the receipt and bring it to me. Just one thing to say....The person handling the donuts should not be handling the payments also. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they just placed new gloves on before touching the donuts I'm feeding the staff at my hospital. Note: I love this place. The original glazed is the way to go. It's perfectly fluffy on the inside without being too big. I like that they're open later.

Drove 20 minutes to redeem my free dozen. I figured the free donuts will offset price of gas. I placed my order, gave my phone number to redeem the free donuts. The cashier said there's no rewards on my account. I tried to show him that my app says I do. He just said "there's nothing i can do about it." This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. Even the printed receipt after the transaction shows my rewards. I don't know how the register doesn't show my rewards when redeeming, yet it still prints out on their receipt after paying. Is this a franchise? Maybe the owner doesn't want costumers redeeming free donuts as it will hurt their bottom line ($$$). read more

Great place to get soft airy glazed donuts. If you like heavier old fashioned donuts, the original glazed donuts may not be for you though. Personally, I like airy donuts better so these are perfect. I haven't had a problem with this specific store out of the many times I came here. There are occasional deals at Krispy Kreme stores.
