We went through the drive-through and picked up a dozen assorted doughnuts, and they did a great job selecting a nice variety for us. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit enjoyable. That said, the drive-through took a little longer than expected, even though there weren't too many cars in line. Also, it feels a bit odd that Krispy Kreme opened up in the same strip mall as a long-standing mom-and-pop donut shop. It makes you want to root for the local business & thank goodness the yelp community came together to boost them up. TLDR: The doughnuts were delicious, the staff was great, and it's hard to beat the convenience. Solid experience, just not quite perfect.

A friend brought over the best donuts! Not only fresh, but there was a Grouchy Bear, just like my book. Grouchy Bear loves to eat but is someone going to ear him?

This review is not necessarily and indictment of this specific location, but the brand overall. Haven't been to a Krispy Kreme in years but was craving their glazed donuts . I was sticker shocked to see how much a dozen was and even more to build your one. I was also extremely disappointed they no longer sold apple fritters but instead sold these cinnamon apple donuts. Decided to give them a try. These donuts taste like they've been sitting on a 7-11 shelf for 3 months waiting to sell. The filling is so disgustingly artificial. And the size of each donut has decreased by over 50% from what I remember. I will absolutely 1000% never order donuts from Krispy Kreme to satisfy the once or twice a year craving I have for them

Nice location and friendly drive through service (and delicious donuts) but $15.50 for 6 original glazed ($7.75 for two) is just a bit much....maybe I'll just get one donut next time!

Drove a total of 50 minutes in hopes to get the adorable Valentine's Day doughnuts they had posted on their website as available, only to get there and they were all different doughnuts. False advertisement and a total disgrace to make people drive that far and pay that money and the doughnuts don't even look like they're supposed too.

While, on the way to work I decided to stop at Krispy Kreme donuts to use the restroom. After walking into the establishment I was greeted and in return asked where is the restroom and what is the code 7272. As I proceeded to the restroom and walked in, to my surprise it was filthy almost as no one cleaned it this morning or last night there was, pissed on the toilet and debris on the floor. As I was doing my business, someone continuously knocked on the door and tried to come in even after I said I'm in here. After finishing my business, I decided to get some coffee and a doughnut or two as I waited in line of the family of seven order in front of me. I patiently waited while there was two employees one that was servicing the family and other boxing orders, It seems after some time. A gentleman came in and went straight to the front with his phone in his hand. The lady boxing orders whose name started with a D said good morning and can I help you like she didn't see me she didn't realize I was waiting didn't realize I have somewhere to be shame. Customer service at is best I guess. As the gentleman got his order and left, the lady decided to help and asked me if I needed anything. Yes, I need three donuts and a coffee please as I got my order and coffee I was never asked if I wanted cream or sugar until after she brought it over to me and then went back to get the creamer for me. I opened my own cup and poured it in I mean, like what are we paying for here for me to work a little bit when I'm paying for service SHM. As I proceeded to exit, I was greeted, have a good day. Not sure what to rate the experience on, but you'll be the judge normally don't do these posts, but I had to do it because I was such unhappy, not going back to this establishment. It is truly sad when customer service only starts when you walk in and only when you leave the establishment, those are the two points of contact. I guess nothing in the middle just good morning and good day sad.

They have the absolute best donuts over here! It was actually about a month ago that I came here and it was cold and rainy. I ordered a hot chocolate that when I received was really nice and warm. I also boxed a dozen donuts (3 glazed donuts, 2 chocolate donuts, 1 strawberry jelly donut, 3 long chocolate donuts, and 3 lime key donuts). I found the lime key donut with the perfect amount of sour and sweet and the jelly donut wasn't extra. The staff was quick and well mannered. This place also had a drive thru and also is clean. Will come back because of the tasty donuts and the easy drive and get. Thanks Krispy Kreme! read more

I never get tired of Krispy Kreme donuts and I never get tired of watching the donuts drop into the hot oil, flip over and go under that waterfall of glaze!!! So delicious warm and dangerous because it's easy to eat more than one! Glazed donuts are the bomb. Like everything else the price for a dozen has gone up but it's worth it when you have a craving. read more

I called to place an order (what I consider to big big 17 dozen) but according the girl I spoke to on the phone (who I couldn't understand), she said "that is not a big order". Her attitude stunk, her tone was horrible so I asked her for the manager who I had spoken to earlier in the day Nancy. Nancy was gone for the day and would not be back until Monday. I had to pick up my order on Monday. So I asked this girl for the number to the Corp office. She told me 1-800-4Krispy. I was driving at the time, so I could not figure out what the numbers were, so again, I asked her for the number and she repeated like a robot 1-800-4-Krispy...over and over and over. I finally had to say thank you and hang up! Although I was able to get the 17 dozen on Monday, I don't think I will ever use Krispy Kreme again for a work function. I could care less if someone ordered 1 dozen, 200 dozen or 17 dozen you should treat EVERYONE the same! The donuts were cute, but WAY too sugary! They were cold and the entire point of bringing these specific donuts were b/c they are normally semi warm. I could have gone to the donut shop in the same shopping center and got a mixture for less. It's just a name...nothing special :( read more

Coffee latte no flavoring was really good. They were out of all the cake donuts so got the choc icing. Odd since it was 930am on a Saturday. It was just ok. Little too sweet and really nothing to write home about. I'd go back for the coffee. read more

I always come here but the last time I went which was Saturday night, the worker was very rude and just had an attitude. Also I'm so sad they took maple bars off the menu!! Those were the best. I'll still continue to come here but please keep your workers in check. It's okay to have a bad day but don't let that affect how you treat customers. read more

I've been to this location twice, ordered a SIMPLE glazed dozen donuts, BOTH times they gave me a Variety pack! And on top of that, the customer service is absolutely AWFUL!!! No one was paying attention to customer needs, which is why they messed up a simple order of a Dozen Glazed Donuts! I recommend 1) check your order, don't trust them one bit and 2) be aware of AWFUL customer service! read more

Sweet donuts, friendly workers. Wow! They were giving full size donuts for samples! 4 star because was hoping for something similar to a plain old fashion (for less sugar) but everything was loaded with sugar. Can't complain because who goes to Krispy Kreme for a plain donut lol! Make sure to microwave donuts for 10 seconds before eating. Taste so MUCH better when warmed up. read more

I ordered from the app so it would be ready when I got there which it was but not without a few issues . 1st issues, I had a free donut in my rewards and they didn't give it to me . 2nd issue is they forgot one of my donuts I ordered so I was one short. Last issue is they looked horrible , they all looked different and then were not consistent in how they should look. I did call the store and tell them I was missing my donut and they refunded me for it at least . Just wasn't a very good experience overall. They have a donut place next door that I'll try Instead . read more

Krispy Kreme is weakness!!! We were in the area and I was craving fresh donuts. I was happy that this KK has a drive thru, and since it was in the middle of the day, no one was in line. SCORE!!! Although there are many yummy, tempting flavors, the go-to is always the glazed donuts. We purchased the dozen assorted because I wanted to get some sugar donuts as well. The dozen comes out to about $12/ box and the assorted is a $1 more. Currently, there are Valentines heart shaped filled donuts to purchase, and they are super cute. These donuts are small, soft, and delicious, but tons of calories so diet folks beware!!! These donuts are sneaky, because you can't have just 1!!! read more

Stopped by for a quick donut fix since Sesame Donuts was sold out. I was able to pick up my order in less than 10 minutes. I love that their donuts are all shapes and sizes here, I usually end up with skinny donuts at the other Krispy Kreme location but I'm glad that this place accepts all donut sizes. The staff was friendly, the lady in front of me who was placing an order was holding up the line because she was indecisive with her donuts. Lady it's a donut shop, pick a donut, ANY donut and move on. read more

Has to be one star because I never got the coffee and donuts. Yes, this is petty and insignificant but they advertised the key lime donuts as only being available on Friday. So, I got up early to pick up a dozen and they didn't have any. Apparently, 6 AM is TOO Friday for them because they said they would have some "around 8." Am I going to rely on that info and drive back there? Absolutely not. Maybe if they had given me a complimentary coffee and a donut for my early morning attempt - instead I drove away empty handed. Folks, it's NEVER the mistake that matters; it's the recovery. They did nothing. So they don't get my money. read more

Recently stopped by the drive through with a colleague to pick up some donut holes to go... having never tried 'em before I had no clue how dangerously addictive they could get! The guy at checkout was super cheerful and efficient, quickly rang up my colleague's KK rewards points and sent us on our way with a cup full of little glazed bites of happiness - with just the right amount of crunchiness on the outer shell and a warm soft doughy inside!! Stopped at Krispy Kreme in Carmel mountain and I always receive the best service at this location. Wanted to bring cheer to the office and stopped and picked up the deal of the day. Purchased a holiday dozen and received a dozen of original glaze for $1 had to stop of course and get two dozens. Everyone at the office was smiling when they saw Krispy Kreme. Gosh, I love Krispy Kreme but every time I come to this one, there's someone who always seems to be unhappy. I will say, there was one super smiley lady in the back who from far away would smile and thanked me for coming in (she yelled it as I was leaving) but the one giving me my donuts seemed frustrated and looked like she didn't want to be there:( it was a little difficult to pick donuts too because 3/4ths of them weren't even on display sooooo I basically just got the donuts that I could actually see lol maybe just have 4 or 5 of each displayed (doesn't have to be many) so it makes it easier for us. I know I like to see my donuts first before I pick them. Anyway! the glazed ones were warm which was great because they just melt in your mouth. Tried a bite of the cinnamon swirl one too, and that one is amazing!!! ! :) definitely worth trying. Maybe the ladies that look like they don't wanna be there need to eat a donut to get hyper and happy lol I know dessert always makes me happy lol But other than that, the place is super clean, and organized. I have not visited a Krispy Kreme in many years. Since they opened up the Clairemont location I think. Since then I have had an evolving relationship with donuts....we've both changed certainly....I've gone from an occasional donut to eating a donut every other week...then they went artisanal and Instagram worthy. I had actually joined a donut club at work...and then the unthinkable happened with Covid. Everyone's appetite for sharing sugary sweets not only was hampered but seen as a danger. So fast forward to last week and I hadn't had a donut - of any sort for 1 full year. Yes you read that right. But then what do I hear of? Krispy Kreme is willing to give out a free donut to those who have been vaccinated? All you have to do is show your card? And not only once but every day for the rest of 2021? Whoah....this is just the thing I needed to rekindle the donut love affair. And so we went to get our freebie...and of course a few extra while were there! I have to say...the sugar rush was a bit overwhelming after a year hiatus. It was delicious while I was eating but soon after I was awash with a bit of regret. Fret not! I will power through and if anything come back stronger. Thank you Krispy Kreme for supporting vaccinations and well, perhaps we'll take that as a win and not think to hard about being back on the donut train. read more

Went here to try their limited time only summer donuts. Went on National Donut Day and expected the worst. The line was so long, winding through the store and out the building. I almost changed my mind, but I noticed that the line moved pretty quick. We were in and out with the cute summertime donuts (and a dozen more ) super fast. The only thing I thought was a bummer was that there were no hot donuts. The employee who helped us today was super helpful and friendly. He told us that it's a better deal for a dozen than a half dozen. I'm pretty sure that's how it is at most donut bakery's tho. Our donuts were glazed to perfection and tasted like pillowy clouds of comfort. No complaints here. Also I love that it has a drive thru. My favorite is to come here for the seasonal donuts, they are so cute! read more

What a pain in the @#$ this place has been. I placed an order online, they didn't deliver the full order, and there is no way to get through to them. Tried phone, on hold for 60 minutes, tried twitter, directed me to the website, I tried the website, and their response was that sometimes there aren't enough drivers to full-fill my order and to try again at another time, which didn't make any sense. So so aggravated. Go to the doughnut shop in the same strip mall. They wont waste your time. read more

Don't ever expect to get hot donuts here. Hours for hot donuts posted on their website mean nothing. Calling ahead to check? Sure they'll have them! Then when you get there... nope. Ordering in the drive-thru? Yep, we have them! Then when they hand you your order... cold. Who wants to bring their coworkers cold PLAIN donuts?! I would just order something else if they would just tell me they're not hot!! They really had me on Tuesday, told me no... no hot glazed BUT, we have minis that are glazed. Heck yeah! I'll take it, so excited. Then when they handed me my order... cold. You'd think after the 2nd, 3rd or 5th time, I'd just stop but I guess I just miss the nostalgia and love I had for a piping hot glazed. Wont get it here I guess. read more

Had a takeout catering order here to be picked up at 1:00pm but the workers didn't have the order ready until almost 2:00 pm. They said that the order was confirmed and supposed to be ready but they didn't print out our order ticket. Totally not okay for time to be wasted for an hour on a catering order that was supposed to be ready. read more

We had dinner at the newly opened Grub Burger Bar and my nephews texted me afterwards to pick up donuts from Krispy Kreme which so happened to be just down the street (and newly opened too!). Drive thru was pretty empty around 8p that weekday so it was easy to order, pay, and pick up. We only wanted 6 donuts but the guy try to up sell us to a dozen for $2+ (?) more. Maybe that would have been a better deal b/c our six donuts cost $7+. I think the glazed are $1.17 and the chocolate glazed is more than that. The six are still packaged in a dozen case box. The donuts were fine but not sure how recently they were made. I've become a fan of Donut Bar so that's kinda my go to place for donuts at the moment. This location is convenient and I'd come back if I could purchase donuts right outta the fryer and freshly glazed. Just like the good ol' days :( read more

I'm well on track to gain the "covid 19".... but being stuck inside and helping slowing the spread I need to treat myself once in a while. Krispy kreme doughnuts are heaven on earth and there is no way you can just have one. These little clouds of delight are just the way to lift the spirits. How can you go wrong with donuts? You can't! I can't say that Kristy Kreme is THE best but I thoroughly enjoy their original glazed. I have to stay away from this place or I'd order a dozen every day! I usually have a dozen at my parents' house every Sunday and it totally makes my week. read more

Today's experience at Krispy Kreme was pleasant. The lady helping us here was very nice and kind. She gave some suggestions about buying a dozen doughnuts with my rewards membership, however, a dozen doughnuts for two people is a bit much. LOL. The transaction was fast and simple and with my rewards membership, I was able to get one doughnut for free. The restaurant was clean and they had many, many doughnuts to choose from. Krispy Kreme Donuts are 5 Stars all around! We visited the other day just because the hot and fresh sign was flashing. The customer service was excellent! They even gave us a free donuts for visiting! The location is perfect right off the freeway, easy access for a pit stop on your way to the office. When the hot sign is on you can't find a better light and fluffy donut. You may find good donuts that resembles cake a bit or a simply a heavier donut, however Krispy Kreme takes the light fluffy donut crown. If you find a better light fluffy donut please inform me so I can be the judge of that. Thanks! read more

So I love Krispy Kreme and was excited when this showed up near my work and for awhile the experience has been good, but there have been a few hiccups. I stopped on 2 different occasions in the last two weeks to get donuts for work. Last week when I stopped I went through the drive thru around 8am and placed my order. I didn't realize until I got to work that the donuts were not hot and fresh and my work is not even 5 mins from this location. So disappointed. I stopped today at 8 a.m. and the light was on and ordered 2 glazed donuts again thru the drive thru. First of all there seemed to be some confusion as to who ordered what because when I pulled up to pay the girl wanted me to confirm I had ordered 5 dozen donuts. When I said only 2 original she apologized grabbed a bag and walked away towards the conveyor belt. I got my donuts and pulled away to check. Sure enough not fresh and not hot at all. I parked walked in and requested that they be switched for donuts that hot off the press. I explained to the employee that was the only reason people stop when the light is on for HOT FRESH DONUTS, not ones that have sat in a case. He was kind and polite and replaced them, but I shouldn't have to check them and shouldn't have had to come inside. Come on Krispy Kreme do better. read more

Came through the drive thru to get a dozen. They were out of the regular glaze. On a Saturday at 4pm. How is that possible? They substituted them for the glazed twists but I was a tad miffed that they were out of their signature donut. They were delicious, of course. I also had a couple of chocolate and Maple tossed into the mix. They are WAY too sweet since they are first glazed then the chocolate/maple icing is added. I felt sick after eating just half of the chocolate one. I'm cool with the plain glazed though and will stick to what I know best. read more

Don't get the hype of this place. Donuts look pretty but are horrible. Didn't make sense when they opened right next door to sesame donuts who has been there since I was born in late 80's. I would not recommend this place. If you want a donut go next door to family owned business. Oh and coffee sucks here. I am not a donut shop regular, but my mom loves donuts from Krispy Kreme. Every timen I come here the staff is nice enough but......... today was an exception. Tamara at the drive they was the nicest staff here. I have been down in the dumps lately, but she made me smile. What a lovely young lady. I think the extra nice service made the donuts taste better! I never buy from Krispy Kreme but I thought my kids might like it for a treat while in self quarantine... a big mistake. Order arrived 20 minutes late and a mess...and not at all what they advertised online. Totally disappointed. The only reason they got two stars was because the donuts actually arrived - 1 star and 1 star because they arrived warm. The filling was just way too sweet and liquidy. The vanilla glaze was basic. Across the board, all the donuts were dry. The design and layout are just so boring now. It used to be a cool and fun, cozy place to visit with so many more donut flavors and even savory options. Now it's just not worth it.

They offer $7 draft beers, $9 wine, $10 mimosas, plus a handful of bites for $9. We started with the Fried Calamari Tentacles from the US Hour menu. They're served with Japanese mayo, although it tasted like there was some citrus mixed in because it had a nice tangy kick. Whatever it was, it worked really well with the crispy calamari. To drink, I ordered the Yuzu Matcha Mimosa. It had a really vibrant green color that almost reminded me of green juice. I actually enjoyed it. The matcha flavor came through without getting lost. My friend wasn't the biggest fan because they thought it leaned a little too bitter, so I think this one depends on how much you already enjoy matcha. For my entree, I ordered the Duck and Waffles ($24), which comes with crispy duck confit, a waffle, passionfruit guava sauce, and chili crunch. This was easily the highlight of the meal. The duck was cooked perfectly. It was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned just enough to let the meat shine. I also appreciated that the chili crunch actually had some heat instead of just being there for texture. The waffle was light and fluffy. I'm a sucker for sweet and savory combinations, so the powdered sugar paired with the rich duck was enough to win me over. The passionfruit guava sauce was the only part I wasn't completely sold on. It wasn't bad by any means. I just think it's one of those flavors that comes down to personal preference. I was in Carmel Mountain Ranch for business and one of the people I work with told me about this donut shop! They brought in 2 dozens of donuts and they were gone in a few minutes. I had the Eclair strawberry, New York cheesecake, and Chocolate cream donut. Unfortunately, all I could taste was sugar and they were way too sweet for me. For anytime. Try this place. Quick service. I heard lots of good things about the donuts here. Have never had the opportunity to try Krispy Kreme. Visited today. The donuts are weird to me. They are just so flimsy. They melt in your mouth, which I assume some people like. But to me, they lack character. I like a more substantial donut, a more bread-y kind. Check your receipts! Used the drive through today and was in a hurry. Didn't realize that they charged me twice for a dozen donuts till I was at work, so I paid over $23 for 12 donuts!
