This is hands down, my favorite breakfast/brunch/lunch spot! The food is always top notch. I LOVE the omelets, my 3 year old loves the "funny face pancake" and fruit, my hubby loves the breakfast sandwiches and when I'm not doing breakfast food I devour the chef salad or chicken tenders. The servers always go above and beyond to make you feel at home. And don't even get me started on Mimosas and Bellinis. Soo good! This was my first visit to Le Peep as I met a colleague for a breakfast discussion. I was initially taken back by the parking situation whereby parking in front of the establishment is limited to 30 minutes and longer duration guests are asked to park in the downstairs garage. This was standard practice for all businesses located on site. The interior is clean, bright and comfortable. Seating was the standard table & chairs affair with no booths. The menu is quite extensive with healthy options and good 'ol Southern cuisine as well. Service was quick, attentive, friendly and accurate. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and served in a reasonable quantity. I ordered the Homestead breakfast and it arrived promptly. It was prepared as ordered and had tasty seasonings that added to the dining experience. It was clear that the biscuits were not fresh out of the oven but they were not stale either. The sausage gravy was excellent and scrambled eggs were fine. Fundamentally, Le Peep offers a pleasant opportunity to enjoy creative options for breakfast, brunch or lunch. I found Le Peep to provide an adequate breakfast. The menu has a lot of variety and the execution is acceptable but the slightly higher prices make me question that. Their peasant potatoes look like they were frozen but tasted fine. The fresh squeezed orange juice is worth returning for. The service wasn't outstanding but ensured I had everything In needed. The space is roomy which is nice for families with children. Plenty of parking on a weekend morning. I can go to better places and pay less money but I'll probably be back. read more

This is the best breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Nashville. The biscuits and gravy are, dare I say, better than grandma's! I've never had a bad experience here -- the food is always hot and fresh and the portions are out of this world. The mimosas are amazing and the coffee bar gets my mocha right every time. I've been to Le Peep once for brunch. Nice place, fast service and good food. The food- I had the Eggs Benedict, traditional. Good portion and taste great. I wish they would offer more sides than their potatoes. The coffee was very tasty and plentiful. The service- very nice staff that took very good care of us. The table was clean and not sopping wet like a lot of places that "clean" the table. Prompt attention by the server who consistently checking in on us. Great! The price- good price for the meal. It is in Belle Meade so I would expect higher but I was pleasantly surprised that it was reasonable. Overall- I would have given 5 stars is the side choices were more plentiful. That's really my only negative point. I would definitely return for breakfast/brunch. read more

OMG!!! The place is awesome. The wait was so short I was impressed. It's a very nice and friendly restaurant. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and she recommended the best sausage and gravy biscuit I've ever had. The biscuit was so light and fluffy I thought it would float away (just kidding) but it was amazing. Also when you walk in there is a menu of the drinks on the wall and all the drinks were $8. I am a sucker for a great brunch spot. I had been meaning to try this place out for quite some time, but it just wasn't on my way anywhere and I had not made the point of going yet. Well, it was on my way a few weeks back and upon spotting the sign, I swerved into the parking lot (along with the two cars following me...trying to figure out where the heck I was going)! Now, I had just had a SUPER FABULOUS brunch in Phoenix, AZ in April at this amazing place which I cannot remember the name of right now... Le Peep was going to be hard pressed to beat this place, let me tell you. I wouldn't say that it did, but it was pretty fantastic on it's own. The coffee wasn't the best...I kind of expected better quality of taste. I ordered the Spanish Omelette ("Filled with combo cheese, onions, green chilies, smothered with salsa and a dollop of sour cream and chives.") and ordered the hashbrown equivalent and my choice of an english muffin. I was attempting to recreate the same meal I had in Arizona. It half way succeeded, but to be fair, I cannot compare the two restaurants. Le Peep was very good and lots of food for the price. I think my meal was around $8.50. The atmosphere was lively and loud, but I don't mind that. I actually prefer that. That way you can have scandalous conversation without the whole world hearing you. I mean, right? I will definitely be heading back to this place in the near future. Perhaps I'll order something else just to mix things up! read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!!! After eating a few bites of my dawn breaker eggs breakfast, I notified a strand of dark black hair and pulled it out of the dish. I figured one hair wasn't a really big deal and proceeded to check the rest of my dish just to be sure.... And then....Clumps...clumps of hair were found in the middle of the cooked eggs. I told my sister and she checked her dish, only to find the SAME. DISGUSTING. Clumps of hair in two different orders of the dawn breaker. Management was notified immediately. We showed her the dishes and saw a look of panic on her face. She apologized and said it was "grill brush hair" and took care of our bill. I am highly disappointed, as my whole family had been loyal customers of Le Peep for the past 15 years. Our experience made an impact and none of us will be back, and we hope this review saves others from a poor experience with their own food. read more

Great food, decent service. The server didn't constantly check on us, and she left a carafe of water and coffee, so we were never in need of anything. It appears that the clientele are regular patrons and know that if they need anything, they just catch the attention of the server. So if you're afraid of asking your server and expect them to ask first, then Le Peep might not be the place for you. Surprisingly, we got there in the 8 o'clock hour and didn't have to wait for a table, but the place quickly filled up. Went looking for a good after-church brunch place, and even though Le Peep was packed, we managed to get a table for two. The orange juice machine instantly caught my eye and was a great start to the meal. Remember that the freshly squeezed juice will settle, so keep it stirred up before drinking. I ordered the chicken crepe, where the chicken, mushrooms, broccoli and tomatoes were actually diced and mixed with the hollandaise and piled atop the crepe itself. Not what I was expecting, but still delicious. I cleaned my plate, which doesn't happen often. Service was acceptable, nothing special, and they didn't mention we should pay at the desk up front. But it was still great and I'm looking forward to heading back to try more of the menu. read more

Second time here. First time was years ago and we had such a bad experience we didn't come back. We decided on a weekday brunch, so why not give it another shot? On a Friday about 10:30 there wasn't a wait, so we sat right down. They serve water in carafes with lemons. Asked for one without lemon and hope that's what's received. I like the carafes on the table but wish the cups were bigger!!! The menu is too big. And it tries to be clever, which it really isn't. With so many choices I can't decide or second guess myself. I settled on the migas which were basically egg and cheese goodness cooked with crunchy tortilla chips and served with beans. The actual entree was great but the beans were cold and the server no where to be found. Also had a side of potatoes and dang that was a lot of salt. We both had a hard time eating the potatoes. I would give it another try and just know to expect so-so service and avoid the potatoes. read more

My friend Jonny loves, loves, loves breakfast food. My mother never was one to make big breakfasts (Pop-Tarts were more the norm), so I had to warm up to the place, but man, what a tasty and filling brunch spot. It was one of the first places Jonny took me to introduce me to Nashville, and we would go there almost every week after church. I usually get one of the skillets that are potatoes covered with eggs, cheese, veggies, and other great stuff. Definitely try one of those -- the Gypsy, the Wanderer -- trust me, you can't go wrong. They also have lighter fare, like the White Lightning made with egg whites. Also worth a mention are the Gooey Buns as a starter -- english muffins topped with cream cheese and apples; a wonderful treat. They also bring you your own carafe of coffee so you can drink as much as you like. And, if you're not a huge breakfast fan, there are other choices. My only complaint would be how crowded it gets and the service can be a little spotty. The food makes it all worth the wait, though. The owner is a great guy and would usually come over to talk to us. read more

This was the first place I ever tried Eggs Florentine. I had always loved Eggs Benedict, but oh, the genius of replacing the ham with spinach! Le Peep is nowhere near as pretentious as it sounds and the menu is not really French at all, just classic brunch. The portions are huge, so it's a perfect place to soak up a good hangover, especially as they have a full bar, so mimosas with your eggs are a distinct possibility. Beware that on Saturdays, it will be packed and Sundays are a bizarre mix of hungover 20 and 30 somethings and the church crowd (just look around to see who's drinking, and/or wearing sunglasses). On either weekend day, you'll have to wait a good thirty minutes or so, so come prepared to do that, but the turnover is relatively quick and the food is worth it. read more

My 3 friends and I went for Sunday brunch at around 12:30. There was a 15-minute wait. While waiting I was trying to figure out why a restaurant would have a waiting room only slightly smaller than the actual dining room. Why wouldn't they just put tables where the waiting room is and they could seat more people instead of having everyone wait. But I figured there must be a good reason and that certainly wasn't affecting my high expectations for their famously delicious brunch. The server was quick to get our orders. I ordered a bloody mary and the salmon and eggs benedict. The bloody mary was extremely salty. The salmon was dry, overcooked and tasted very fishy. I tasted the other ladies dishes and they were unimpressive. When I got the bill I was shocked to see that they charge $4.29 for a small Orange juice served in a cheap plastic cup. She also requested more raspberry sauce for her dry crêpes and was told after she started to eat it that the server needed the check back (which was brought to the table as soon as the food was delivered) to add the $1 charge for the ounce of sauce she brought. If you're looking for a classy dining experience, this is not it. It is IHOP quality and overpriced, gross food. read more

Never heard of Le Peep but me and my girlfriend at the time used it as a backup when we didn't want to wait in line for the Loveless Cafe. Apparently it's a chain restaurant and their menu reflects that immediately. They're doing dozens of things, which makes me question how many of them they do really well. I got the Farmer's Benedict, which swaps out the normal English muffin for a biscuit, Canadian bacon for sausage patties, and Hollandaise sauce for sausage gravy. It was good, no doubt. No complaints whatsoever on that. I can't remember what my girlfriend got but I'm pretty sure she was happy with it as well. And they had freshly squeezed orange juice that was good too. As I'm writing this review, I really want to give Le Peep 4 stars but there was something about it that just makes me say it was A-OK instead of being a vocal fan of the place. I think part of the issue is that it's in the this awkward spot in a little strip mall that's fairly out of the way. I remember the interior of the restaurant being pretty uninspiring as well. Just kinda whatever, really. Overall, not a bad choice if you're in that area and you want a good breakfast. read more

HAIR IN FOOD. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My omelet had a long black hair in it as soon as I cut it open. The waitress brought me a new omelet, but without apology​ or concern for how gross that was. Then they charged me full price for the omelet, and when I suggested to the wait staff that it should be free, they just gave me $5 off. My​ sister and I were completed grossed out and disappointed with the total lack of customer service. And, food isn't even good. Go to First Watch instead where they actually care. read more

Maybe the breakfast foods are amazing, but we tried the lunch items. I got the chicken pesto sandwich and my husband got the burger. Service was slower and our waiter disappeared for quite a while. Food was sub par at best. Although we paid an extra $1.25 for cheese on the burger it came without cheese and then our waiter brought out a little cup of shredded cheese to add. Cold cheese on a burger- yum??? My side salad was iceberg lettuce which is ok- but felt cheap. Sandwich was decent but lacked flavor and felt mostly like chicken chunks with a little bit of pesto here and there. It was surprisingly small for the $11.50 price. Decor is mismatched but not in a good way and it just felt like an older dirty run down building that was trying hard. Bathrooms were freezing cold. I wanted to love this place but won't come back unfortunately to see if anything else is worth the hype of other reviews. read more

They both had no idea how to make the drinks and then got a Bloody Mary that was vodka with a splash of tomato juice. The bartender and manager were reaching into jars of fruit, olives, and pickles without washing their hands or using tongs. And my biggest pet peeve is when bartenders grab bare straws with their dirty hands and use them to mix my drink. It was gross. read more

The hubby is more about hash browns and omelets than I am, and gives them the official 'man grunt' of approval. Prices are completely fair and the wait is way the heck better than heading to Pancake Pantry to stand outside for 45 minutes. Short story, its a great place to go with the family for a weekday breakfast although I can't say what the weekend wait is like. Service is fast and friendly. One of the top 3 or 4 breakfast spots in Nashville. My favorite is the Farmer's Benedict, which isn't really a benedict at all. Two biscuits, with your choice of meat, covered in gravy and topped with eggs. Delicious. The OJ is freshly squeezed, and they'll bring you your own pot of coffee.
