TL;DR Our truck-buying experience at this dealership is pretty much in line with the other 1-star reviews here. Go somewhere else if you have the option. Side note in case it's important to you: this dealership isn't following COVID-19 distancing guidelines, and everyone except one person (finance) wasn't wearing a mask. -- Our sales rep was Michael Buffington and we had to follow-up every. step. of. the. way. We knew exactly which truck we wanted from their online inventory. We didn't haggle (got membership pricing through work). They literally had to just sell us the truck off their lot, and add the tonneau cover we wanted. After emailing Michael about the truck and asking some standard questions about the features, when we said we were ready to buy he told us it just sold that morning. Fine, no problem, we'll go with another truck on their lot. He asked us to come in the next day, which we did. 'Lo and behold, the original truck was sitting right in their lot - and Michael even pointed it out to us as an option for us to purchase. Huh? The 1) lack of follow-through and 2) departments not communicating with one another are this dealerships main problems. It continued to go downhill from there. We spent a few hours waiting for the truck to be prepped - about 3 hours for them to have us sign paperwork, fill the truck up with gas, and wash it. No communication between any of their departments - finance, sales, service. The finance guy said he would find Michael after we finished signing the paperwork - didn't happen. We had to track Michael down multiple times to remind him we were waiting for the truck and he would respond, "right let me check on that". The sales service was just terrible - continuously dropped the ball. We should have been in and out of there as happy customers and he just didn't make it happen. The cherry on top was the tonneau cover we purchased which needed to be ordered. No follow-up from Michael or anyone on getting this on the truck, but they were sure to make sure we paid $1k+ for it. Michael initially forgot to add it to our order after we reminded him twice (after multiple times of telling us - "that's an expensive cover, you sure?"). Odd for a sales person. The finance guy had to add it while we were signing our paperwork. Since the cover wasn't actually available that same day, they said they would deliver it to us since we lived in Livermore. That sounded great to us (not something we asked for but we initially thought a nice touch). We got a call a couple days later from the service department asking us to come in - we told them it was supposed to be delivered, he took our address, and said he'd call back. No call back, so we called the next day. No one knew anything about the cover, so we went down there in-person while we stood over the only parts guy at the front desk as he literally searched every inch of the dealership for an hour. He found it with "Bob S." and our last name written on the box. I think I'll just stop there. Just avoid this place. We're not happy with what we thought was a straightforward truck purchase and will bring our business somewhere else in the future. read more

Made a purchase in October. They did over promise and under deliver at first but they did make it as right as they could in the end. Hospitality is of course a 10/10 and I do appreciate them working the extra angle to find the options I was looking for,, they did hit the nail following up with me in that regard. Can't hate at all on sales price,, they work hard to make their dollar just like we all do. What I meant in the beginning was that it was allot of effort on my end to finish the due bill after they just landed a nice sale with me. That extra effort required from my end didnt quite make me feel appreciated. In the end they were flexible enough to square it away and would recommend you ask for Chris if you are in the market. Just had my car serviced here, Everybody there is super nice, professional and helpful. From the service coordinator Eva Rivas and the service manager Adam Nesta to my service advisor Chris Lara. Ask for Chris when making an appointment and mention Oscar with the Roush so he can extra care of you!! If anybody is wondering my reverse camera stopped working a while back but I just left it alone since I don't use it. But then my trunk latch stopped working, I couldn't open it with the key fob or release button by the steering wheel or by the license plate. Anyways, they fixed it and did an excellent job. Turns out it was the wire harness, some of the wires were damaged from using the trunk. Apparently this is a common issue with these cars. read more

This dealership is under new management supposedly and according to the salesman they are working on their customer service. And clearly they still have A LOT of work to do to improve. My daughter bought her first car last week there. When we arrived to look at it the battery was dead. I asked the salesman,Jay, several times to replace the battery and he assured me that once charged it would be fine. Far from!!!! Jay never spoke to the service people about what had happened. Next day daughter had issues with car sensors and battery. Week later, 2 extra trips to dealership, and extra 140+ miles put on the car by their service department trying to figure out what was wrong with car. Finally get phone call today car is ready for her to pick up and the issue was the wrong battery in car!! We get there to pick up the car and the gas tank is empty for our drive back to Roseville area. Horrible service! So I insist they will fill the tank. We then are informed the entire management department is in a meeting and we would have to wait for their approval for gas. So we had to wait another 55 mins while they find the ONE manager that can approve putting gas back in the car that they used while they were "fixing" the car. Jay asked my daughter last week to write a Yelp review about her positive experience with them and she did immediately after purchasing car but we regret writing it so quickly because their customer service is lacking and management needs to do a better job! read more

Very poor practices. I went to another dealership due to this dealerships "mandatory" protection plans and starting to feel uneasy with how sketchy things were going. The other dealership literally laughed and said, " it says optional on the paperwork for a reason." Drove off the other dealerships lot with an amazing experience and a brand new Mach-E for less than this location. The experience here started off ok and went downhill pretty quickly due to shady practices. Im not stating for others to not get the plans(it may be worth it for some), but I will say don't let them trick you into an additional $1600 on your purchase so they can " make their money back somehow."(exactly what I was told). Over 6 months later our warranty still hasn't been activated, being told we have repairs needed but can't do the work because no one wants to help us. We have been told numerous times they would call us back and never do. For those purchasing cars here, make sure they file all your paperwork properly. After 6 months their staff never paid our warranty. They sat on our money we paid for it and caused a month of delays for our repairs. Background: I crunched the numbers on what my payment should be before I left home and got $731/month. This is important. Read on: -- Act I: The sale -- We begin the scene with me sitting at the dealer's desk. The $731/month number was still on my phone, so when the sales manager said my loan was going to be $860/month I assumed that either (1) they were trying to cheat me or (2) math had suddenly stopped working. Now I know used car salesmen have a reputation for being more honest than a boy scout finding a wallet on the ground... but was it possible a used car salesman could be dishonest? Could it be that they were trying to pull a fast one? I had to know more. I looked at the fine print. In teeny little letters, hidden off to the side was this tiny line item with a price of about $5,000. Weird. What could cost $5,000 dollars but be written in the tiniest of letters, almost as if to avoid my attention? "What's this?" said I. "Your warranty! You really want that. It's very important." Said the boy scout. "I don't." I replied. "OK, no problem, your choice. It'll only reduce your payment by $20 though, so approx down to $840" said the boy scout - a halo of truth appearing above his head. Hold up. I'm not great at math but I know the ATV I bought for $5,000 costs more than $20/month - but I figured maybe the boy scout wasn't great at math either. No one's perfect. --Act II: The Finance managers office-- Now if the sales manager was a boy scout, that must mean the finance manager, having more authority, is an eagle scout. The eagle scout started out: "OK, so you have some options here: Gap coverage, Extended Warranty, windshield protection..." I admit I zoned out at this point - nothing makes me more bored than being called an idiot 17 different ways. Eventually the noises stopped so I tuned back in. "I don't want any of those", I said. "What if I could do it for free?" said the eagle scout. He typed a bit and then continued "I can lower your interest rate and that will bring your payment to $820/month! It's free!". As I've said, I'm not great at math. But I know that $820 is bigger than $730. It seemed like the eagle scout was trying to get me to pay an extra $90 per month while pretending I'm getting something "for free". Lord help me, but I was starting to doubt this man was actually an eagle scout. Thus began a high pressure stream of half truths, obfuscations, and bald faced lies that went on for, I shit you not, 30+ minutes. No matter how many times I told the possibly-not-an-eagle-scout no, he continued to relentlessly pressure me to add this or that BS warranty. You might think there is a happy ending here, but in the end, I still ended up getting screwed. The dealership added 3m protection plus a vehicle theft device to the car's price, told me that I couldn't remove it from the price and strongly implied it had already been installed on the car. This may surprise you, but no, when I got home I clearly saw I didn't have 3m protection on the doors. In the end here is how you can avoid getting cheated by Livermore Ford Lincoln: Calculate what your payment before you walk in the door. Here is a template you can use: My car's sticker was $37,000. Add sales tax (7.25%~ $2,700). Add Tax, Title, License,etc: ~$600. Totals approx $40,000. I did 0 down and 3.64% APR @ 60 months, but yours may be different. Plug that info into an online calculator and don't accept any payment larger than what it says. In the end, the math you do at home will be the same, regardless if your sales manager is a boy scout or a cheat. read more

The worst sales experience I've ever had! And based on the number of other 1 star reviews I'm clearly not the first one who has had this happen. My husband and I went in to look at a vehicle advertised online and when we get to the dealership they said it was actually $10k more than advertised and pointed out a foot note on the listing. No idea why they wouldn't just change the listed price then but sounds like LOTS of people have seen this bait and switch technique at this place. The sales manager comes over (no idea why this guy ever thought sales was the career for him) and proceeded to very rudely tell us why they were justified in marking it up by $10k and argued with us about the facts that were listed on the carfax report that we looked at together! To top it off, he comes in and laughs at the price we were asking for our trade in. When I asked to work with someone else because I didn't appreciate his attitude he refused. After asking THREE times to speak with a manager he asked why, I told him because he's rude, and he said that we could leave. Which we gladly did and bought elsewhere! As a sales professional who has been in sales for over 15 years, I can say this sales manager needs to throw in the towel and maybe pursue something where people and social skills are not required. Recently bought a used 2016 Explorer that I saw online. It had rear alignment issues and a cracked windshield. I was assured that it would all be fixed for no cost to me. Window sticker says 62,706. ER arrive to test drive it and see an additional sticker showing an additional 5k in add ons. Nowhere on the advertised price is this information listed. We initially thought it was the wrong truck because it had all kinds of things added. This my Yelp friends is illegal in California. I brought this to the attention of the rude "manager" KAHAN LAFLEUR and he said it is perfectly legal. I read him the law verbatim and he said they deal with it often and it is not illegal. They advertised a price in two places WITH the VIN number and refused to honor it. Go someplace else. The service is always slow. Today, I come here for oil change, because I bought the maintenance plan. The guy told me to wait about two hours. I thought I should wait there then pick up my truck. But until now I have been waiting for 4 hours. They told me maybe couple more hours to finish. Then I need to go home or go to eat lunch, I tell them I need shuttle home. Then they said we don't offer ride home you can wait here or find someone to give you a ride home. If I can give negative stars I FUCKING WOULD. This was honestly the most frustrating experience post-car purchase I've ever experienced--and we have 4 cars from different dealerships (2 of which are also Ford). Our issue is that it's been since August that we purchase the car and it's almost end of the year and we still haven't received the title for the car or any clear updates from the team. Our initial contact, Rafi, was helpful when we were purchasing but I do get the feeling that when I call to get updates that I'm just getting the same run around answers of "I'll check on that for you...". Days, weeks pass and it's only when I finally call agitated and frustrated that I finally get them to have their DMV person contact me directly who also then said the same thing. Guess what? A whole ass month goes by and no updates. I'm now calling and emailing angry--and Rafi says the same "let me check." The DMV clerk there, Tammie Tew-Thomas, never responded to my message nor gave me updates even when she said she would. Her words in the initial email (after me essentially calling them pissed off) "Today, I have followed up with the previous lienholder assuring they would release title on this vehicle." Fuck does that mean?!? It's was a leased car. The previous owner was your dealership. Response was obviously copy and paste. Finally spoke to someone who actually checked and the dealership owned DMV money for a fee and they never actually took care of it which is why it's pending. Awful experience and would absolutely recommend to avoid buying a car here at all costs. Dealership raised price of car after expressing interest. F&I person provided me with an interest rate that I signed on, but when the auto loan papers came it was almost twice as high, as well as with a different organization than I initially agreed upon. Even worse, the inspection report that they gave me showed 10 mm brake pads, but then my front brake pads gave out after a couple months and only three thousand miles later despite never riding the brakes. At the very best, unreliable mechanics that are about to cost me thousands in repairs. Finally, when I contacted the dealership, they dodged my calls for three weeks straight despite daily calls, leaving me without a mode of transportation towards the end. They would tell me they "would talk to the manager" on a daily basis to see if they could replace my brakes at reduced/free cost, but nothing was resolved. The final decision was that they would not replace my brakes, despite an unreliable inspection report. In short, always get an external PPI, and do not go here if at all possible. I am beyond dissatisfied with this dealership! I went here because I wanted to purchase my leased Lincoln that was coming due. I called the dealership ahead of time and spoke to one of the sales people. He told me what time to come in and for me to send him my license, my insurance, and my lease information. So I did. Once I get to the dealership, I wait, and wait, and wait. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I know quite a few businesses are dealing with staffing shortages. Once someone starts talking to me about financing, I knew I should've walked away, but I had already been there for over an hour and didn't want to give up now. They also somehow didn't have any of the paperwork that I had sent in ahead of time. Without me knowing, they did multiple credit checks with many different lenders (I'm still getting letters!). The selling process was so shady that, once again, I should've walked away midway through. They talked me into getting the Cilajet treatment on my interior and exterior because I was told that if I get any minor dings in the paint, I can come in and get them buffed out for free, (with the warranty). And by the way, this treatment was NOT cheap. We're talking 8K. After signing all paperwork and giving them a bunch of money to pay off my lease, I didn't hear back from them for over two weeks. Surely my money would've gotten to Lincoln by then right? Nope. I had to call numerous times to talk to someone about my lease payoff. Finally I talked to the "Sales manager" who told me that I didn't give them enough money and that I needed to pay more in order for my lease to be paid off. I pushed back pretty hard on this and even called the Lincoln finance dept, who confirmed my payoff amount. The dealership wouldn't budge and told me that I needed to pay an extra $700+. I just wanted this nightmare to be over with so I gave in and the sales manager came to pick up my check. My lease still wasn't paid off for another two weeks. This was over a month after I got lending and paid a bunch of money down. Fast forward to today, they've sent me a check in the mail because I did indeed overpay on the lease payout. Go figure! Also, I got a minor scrape on my door and a very small ding on my bumper since my Cilajet treatment and so called "warranty". I've called numerous times and have emailed even more. Everyone is avoiding me and the receptionist is giving me the run around. Actually, she's stopped returning my calls and emails now (Rochell). I'm beyond upset about the lack of professionalism of this dealership and want to warn everyone about their fraudulent sales practices. I wouldn't recommend this place at all and certainly don't recommend that you purchase the Cilajet treatment, they will not fulfill their warranty. read more

Leaving this bad review here and on other outlets in the hope it gets the right level of attention from the service department. Two months after taking my car in to fix a infotainment issue, service and two recalls. First time I brought the car in and leaving it more than a week they only did one recall and the maintenance quoting parts didn't arrive. Since we needed the car we agreed taking it back at later date. I do so and after keeping the car for another full week they are able to complete the recall and change the infotainment, albeit forgetting to install some parts. Unfortunately the infotainment still doesn't work and despite multiple messages exchanges with Matt and calls I don't have a path forward. Hence resorting to public reviews to share my experience and in the hope the general manager actually does his job and ensures Does customers get the service they deserve. read more

Do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere! I wasted almost a good 5 hours dealing with all of their scheming car salesman tactics after looking at a truck I was generally interested in. First of all i was already skeptical about all of the horrible ratings and reviews this place has, but the price was listed as a good price so I decided to go in. That was the first mistake and it got worse from there. First of all according yo the salesman the lifetime powertrain warranty only covers vehicles, under 100k, not sure where that comes from as I ready their exclusions online. Then I was interested in an extended warranty, since I was not going to finance a car sold as is. That was my second mistake. According to everyone there including the finance manager no one knew anything about rates, warranties etc until I filed out an application. I had questions regarding what warranties they offered, nothing till Fill out application. What kind of rates they offered, no info until I filled out an application. What does the extended warranty cover, no info till I fill out an application. At this point, I invested my time and was genuinely serious about purchasing the truck. Then they pulled out the whole how much you want to pay a month trick and assumed a 72 month term with an inflated interest rate, again, need to fill out an application. These people cannot run simple finance calculations with a credit score, nope fill out an application. Then comes out the whole add ons that they added to the truck, clear coat, theft prevention, all bs, in my opinion. What's the most upsetting is I filled out an application, still gave me some bogus monthly with no breakdown as to what is being added or what is being financed, what my rate is, and of course assuming a 72 month term. And you gotta add the whole, "someone is really interested in this truck" spiel. Relax. KBB has this car listed with price drops since early August. Bottom line this place is scummy, the staff does not have any answers, and I'm sure they get away with it because people don't have the credit, knowledge of finances, or both. read more

Worst service experience I have ever had. Took my car in for recall work, an oil change, and a quote on a piece of broken trim. I was initially told the work should take one, maybe two days. Dropped my car off at 9:30am on a Monday and received zero communication about it until 2pm the following day. I had called the dealership three times, once on Monday afternoon, again in the morning and once in the afternoon requesting any kind of info on the status of my car. I received no call backs. No emails. No texts. Nothing. I was chastised by the incredibly rude representative answering the service phone call, I think her name was Claudia, for not just sitting around and waiting for a call back I never received. I finally received a cryptic text message from my service advisor Brandon on Tuesday afternoon about some recall part that needed to be ordered, but no update about how much longer they would need to have my car until I had texted back several times. Wednesday I again heard nothing until I had called and texted and told them I needed my car back that afternoon no matter what. At 2pm I was finally given the quote for the part I wanted and told it would be another two days for that. Oh and I might add the dealership was not paying for me to have a loaner or rental vehicle or anything. So I told them I didn't want that piece replaced and I just wanted to pick up my car. So after three days, they had performed two recalls and an oil change. I absolutely understand work sometimes taking longer than expected and parts needing to be ordered. However, I had made this appointment the week prior and included all the information about my vehicle and the recalls it needed. There was plenty of time for this stuff to have been ordered so that it would be ready by the time my car showed up. I also should have been given a quote for the part I requested the same day I turned my car in. All they did was look at it to confirm it was indeed the part I said it needed and then asked the parts department to look it up. But they didn't do that until the third day! And all that aside, if they had just communicated with me and kept me updated that work was being done but was taking longer, parts needed to be ordered etc, then I would have felt a lot better about it all. But the fact that I dropped off my car and then was completely unable to get in touch with the anyone who could tell me anything about it was utterly ridiculous. And no staff member should ever chastise a customer for requesting information about their own vehicle and expecting a call back within a reasonable amount of time. 36 hours is not a reasonable amount of time. I should have heard back from someone within two hours of my first phone call. This place will never get my business ever again and you shouldn't give them yours either. Ford Corporate will be hearing a complaint from me as well. read more

This place is a joke. 25k over for a Bronco that is a dime a dozen and 3k under MSRP in Arizona. When I explained that to the sales guy Fred he said that he needs to get paid more living in CA and he won't budge on the markup. He then laughed at me. I will never buy a car from here again. Also, when I first went to look at them my salesman Robert didn't know anything on the different models. Wish I could give this dealership zero stars. I called for the price of a navigator L, I was quoted a price 7k over MSRP. I told the salesman that they are advertising their vehicles online for under Msrp, he said he wasn't sure about that and he would call me back in 15 mins. I explained the situation and read the photo that is posted on multiple car ads on autotrader to him. He said this wasn't true and that auto trader must have posted that for them. (I'm so sure) False advertisement much? He admitted it was false advertisement and told me I'd "be hard pressed" to find a dealership without dealer mark up. Funny thing, Fairfield and Napa both have navigator Ls available, at Msrp, I was just hoping for white. I'd steer clear of this shady dealership and Jason's rude customer service. read more

"Clean car fax" isn't always clean come To find out the ac is broken and Chevrolet Dublin said it's a 5000$ job due to the evaporator Core needing 20+ hours labor besides Parts to fix. Long story short had I known the AC was broken would I paid top dollar for a used vehicle with broken AC for almost 40k ? No. Tried reaching out and having this resolved and they keep beating around the bush jay said he would call me back in April and never reached out. Called last week and they sent me this 800 Ford Customer service number and doesn't work they said talk to the salesman who sold it to me. I know how this works and it should fall into a category of warranty due to lying on the carfax to make the sale. If I could leave an honest review stay away from Livermore Ford. To make matters worse they ran my credit like a half a dozen times at the very least heavily impacting My credit. I will never go back to Livermore Ford. I have two Ford Motorcraft batteries purchased from Ford that both failed on my Ford F-250 truck within two years and the batteries are covered under WARRANTY to be REPLACED with new batteries if they don't last at least 36 months (3 years) -OR- for a partial prorated warranty if they don't last 100 months as you can see on my attached picture. On Saturday, 2/15/2020 I went to the Ford Dealership in Livermore to exchange my two defective truck batteries for new ones per the 36-month warranty. I spoke with Jose at the service/parts counter who instead took my two batteries stating that they would first have to hold onto my batteries to charge them to see if they can get them to maintain a charge. He said I would get a call on Monday with the results. The following Thursday, 2/20/2020 (almost a week later) I finally received my first call back from Ford Livermore. I spoke with Brandon on the phone about the same issue and was told that they had not even attempted to charge my batteries yet so I could not pick up my new ones because of the confusion on their part. I asked to speak with the owner, store manager, or his supervisor and was told none were available multiple times. I requested to talk to the store owner or manager today and provided my contact information to him. I was told I would get a call back later that day and never got any call back that day from anyone. Today, on Saturday, 2/29/2020 (NOW TWO WEEKS LATER) I called again and spoke with Nick. Nick had no idea what was going on and I requested to speak with the owner or store manager again. Nick first told me that there was no manager in today. I then asked to speak with whoever was in charge there today. I was put on hold and then spoke with Mike. Mike appeared to be already very upset about something else and almost immediately hung up on me as I was explaining my issue to him. How hard is it for Ford Livermore to replace two Ford Motorcraft batteries that failed under the 36-month listed warranty? A vehicle can't run without batteries so this should be an extremely streamlined process to get a warranty replacement for. Meanwhile, we've had to cancel our annual family camping trip not being able to tow anything with our truck that has been out of commission and we're paying vehicle insurance for a truck that has been non-drivable now for over two weeks. Ford Livermore can't even handle a very simple and clear-cut warranty replacement issue. Please save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere with competent employees that understand and know how to properly do their jobs. read more

Went to this dealership to check out the Broncos. Walked around for a good 15 minutes and no sales people came out to help us. Some of them came out, but would walk the opposite direction. Instead of greeting us they just walked right by. We were looking at the new car section and decided to go over to the used car section, and there were no prices on the used car section and no sales people whatsoever. They seemed eager to help men but since we are women, they weren't so eager. This is the end of the month also. You would think they'd want more sales. read more
