Steakhouse Mac & Cheese Mashed Potatoes and gravy

Twice I've come for the late night dinners. I truly think they understand great service. It was my birthday dinner and I appreciated all that they did. The atmosphere feels classy once you're seated but casual dress is fine. It's a steakhouse. I know they were about an hour till close and I hate being that person but they still treated us politely without being rushed. The bartender was very funny and went above and beyond. He recommended getting these 7 spices on the steak which has more of the cracked black pepper. The food was delicious. I could hardly finish my outlaw ribeye after eating some bread and butter, the cheddar stuffed mushrooms, and Caesar salad. They always run out of the corn so if you have a chance you should definitely get corn as your side. We'll probably have to come earlier in the day to get that. The waitress was also so kind in getting us a strawberry ice cream sundae. I devoured it. Overall, would return.

OMG!!! The service was cramp!!! Poor Val had the work the bar and wait our booth. Needless to say NO ONE checked on us. So I stopped a guy and guess who it was JORDAN. I pointed out he had been to a certain table about 10 times and no one had come to check on us. He said oh that 's my family!! Well I feel like we're all family when we're spending our dollars at Longhorn. If your family is going keep you from paying customers then they should stay home. NOT A GOOD LOOK!! Once I pointed that out he was out of sight till we left. This is my second review and they both encountered JORDAN. The food was good but service was trash!!!!

First, Trent was an amazing server and host for our visit! Very friendly, great attitude, always smiling and talked with us when it was slow. Great food, not perfect, but great! This was our first time at a Longhorn Steakhouse. It will not be our last. Came a little later in a Saturday night. Was seated immediately; the rush was just ending. Place is a little dark for my liking, but still enough lightning. We went straight into ordered our meals as they come with lots of food. I got the Parmesan filet with lobster tail, Mac and cheese and ceases salad. My wife the potato soup with her Outlaw ribeye. Alight critique! Again, food was great. But wish there was more black pepper in things. The potato soup and Mac and cheese were saint fig me to add black pepper, but were great! No pepper sauce or rub for steak? It's my favorite, it was it? The Parmesan crust in the filet was amazing. It was cooked great, and the cheese add a wonderful level of salt and creamy to my steak. May be my new favorite steak! Shoutout to the Cesar salad, was wonderful. Defiantly had anchovies in the dressing. So good. Gotta end with the Strawberries and Cream shortcake. Big enough places have this type of desert. Highly recommend.

Food: Amazing' everything was so good and so flavorful! Came out hot and fresh. Only thing I didn't post were the drinks, but the drinks were very reasonable and strong! Hits the spot after a long day' lol. Ribeye was flavorful and tender. Melts right in your mouth. The brisket queso and white cheddar mushrooms were to die for! Service: servers were very attentive, and friendly! Ambiance: well lit up place, big and spacious. The wait was not too long due to the amount of seating! I will definitely be back!

We love the steaks at Longhorn. Always cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. They are consistent and attentive! The 7 pepper rub on the bone-in ribeye is amazing!

We decided to give this place a try while in the area shopping so glad we did. We beat the dinner crowd so the server was on top of our order and drinks, for appetizer we had the brisket queso and chips they serve d us bread and butter also which was quite amazing as we rarely have bread. Queso was served plenty hot chips stole the show as they were fresh and light they were good. We both enjoyed our cut salad for starters I had the 12 oz ribeye with steamed asparagus & Diana had Lobster Bisque, sirloin and shrimp it's was more than enough and she boxed some from lunch tomorrow We finished it off with the cheesecake which was just ok, the dessert options was the only thing lacking here. The price for all this and 2 drinks was reasonable and we definitely will be back. So after a long day shopping we finished it off with a good filling meal.

Tried to order mushrooms for appetizer, sever said they had no mushroons or asparagus due to bad produce. Ordered entrees then told they were out of okra, saved them selves by making a serving of it, About what would be expected for noise level on Friday night. Server Mattie was very attentive, kept drinks full while keeping others taken care of as well. Would have been a 4 review if they had what was expected on the menu

"Sabar BBQ: Where the lamb ribs made me want to high five a stranger."…read more TL;DR: Get there early, order the Sichuan Lamb Ribs, let Zain carve you a plate of happiness, and prepare to have your taste buds do a Texas two-step with Pakistani spices. Worth every minute of the wait. This one's climbing my top 50 list faster than a brisket disappears at a family reunion. After one failed mission to Sabar BBQ, where I showed up too late and found an empty pit (and an emptier stomach), I came back like a man on a barbecue pilgrimage. The sun was blazing, the line was growing, and I wasn't about to be left holding nothing but a napkin this time. Pitmaster Zain Shafi runs this blue trailer like a flavor command center. The smell hit me halfway through the line and had me grinning like a kid at the state fair. I made my move when it was my turn, and if you know me, you know lamb is my kryptonite. I ordered the Sichuan Lamb Ribs, then couldn't stop myself from adding brisket and Tandoori Turkey. The sides? Kachumber Salad and Daal Chawaal, because even Uncle Sean needs balance in life. Zain loaded everything up, tossed it all on top of some naan for good measure, and sent me to my table like a champion headed to the winner's circle. The first bite of lamb ribs nearly had me proposing to the pit. Spicy, tender, smoky perfection with a bark that made my heart sing. The brisket was rich and juicy, the turkey came with that tandoori kick that slapped me awake in the best way possible. The sauces just tied the whole thing together like a big barbecue hug. The yogurt mint cilantro sauce was made to cool and lift the brisket and turkey to a whole new level. The red sauce packed a punch and paired with the lamb like it was born for the job. I boxed up some leftovers for my wife, the Side Dish Queen herself, because a man who doesn't bring home naan from Sabar BBQ is a man sleeping on the couch. She confirmed what I already knew: this was next-level barbecue, the kind that earns legends and long lines. Sabar BBQ is only open on weekends, and only fools show up late. I won't make that mistake again. This was stop number 15 on my Texas Monthly Top 50 journey, leaving me with 35 more glorious BBQ pilgrimages ahead before the passport is full and my belt officially waves the white flag. If loving these lamb ribs is wrong, I don't wanna be rib-right.

With a bit more seasoning and flavor, the sides could be the hit of the location, and this I think will come with time and practice. Tried the greens (little bland, but wonderful texture), Mac and Cheese (actually seasoning was spot on), and beans (with meat...meh). The greens and MC were the hits for sure. Brisket was on the dry side, maybe overcooked, and could have used some better trimming before cooking I think. Did not try sausages or chicken, but both looked appetizing. They are still dialing in their pits is my guess, and expect cook quality to improve with a time. Quality of meat may also be worth considering. Overal, Brown's is definitely worth a visit, and as they find their groove they could be a contender. Right now would put them at a fair 3.5 stars, but the energy, great attitude (smiles means repeat business), and great beginnings is worthy of 4 stars even now, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood!
