To start, the service was not the best. Ordered a starter that never arrived (was not put in), the server blamed it on the cooks/chef and honestly did not seem to care. I ordered a Flo's medium rare 6 oz filet and I received a fully cooked, grey 6 oz filet that had absolutely no sear on it! The server agreed and I sent it back! Once the new steak arrived, the server left instantly, no chance to cut it and verify. The steak had a bit more of a sear on it, I pressed the center and knew it was raw, not rare, but raw. I cut into it, it is completely raw, room temp center!Ten or so minutes go by and the server comes back to see/agree the steak is raw. I do not understand how a steakhouse can mess up two different steaks so spectacularly. I will 100% eat rare to mid rare steaks and these two steaks threw me off completely. I have 4 years in fine dining front house experience and cooking has been a hobby of mine for 15 years. That being said, I would not have served either of the steaks I received to anyone (maybe to an inmate or to an animal as scraps!) Friendly hostess greeting us warmly. Explained where the restrooms are located and told us our server's name. The bartender was taking care of our area and though he had quite a few tables, he didn't miss a beat. The warm bread and butter were just so good! I could had eaten the whole loaf! Crispy on the outside, yet soft on the inside. We received our drinks promptly and our order was taken and delivered with haste. Best of all, the steaks were cooked to perfection, and tasty! The sweet potato was a bit gutted and shriveled, probably should had been skipped. The french fries were hot and seasoned. My son's lemonade was refilled numerous times before he could even ask. Bonus! One major negative was how disgustingly filthy the restrooms were!! They've only been open an hour for lunch, so, it looks like they skipped the previous night's cleaning. Got the steak medium rare with loaded baked potato. Ordered chicken strips and caeser salad. Restaurant was very clean and well kept. The initial service was little slow. But once our waitress got going she was great and very attentive. The bread was nice and warm and tasted pretty good. Got the caeser salad and for some reason it was so darn yummy... I don't know what they do to their salad dressing but imo it was one of the best caeser salad I've had. My steak came out and it was pretty darn good.. It was cooked to my liking (medium rare). Steak was drizzled with melted butter and had nice seasoning.. The steak was not the best quality but for the price $29 and change, it was pretty darn good. My loaded baked potato was... Well loaded baked potato pretty good nothing special. Chicken strip was also pretty good.. Over all the service was great and food was pretty good. Ordered an 8oz sirloin and shrimp. The steak was by far the worst I've ever had at a restaurant. The piece of meat was chewy and was cooked on a flat top, not a grill. It was burned on one side and not cooked in the other. It was completely uneatable. I've worked in kitchens, so I don't send food back. We made our order online and pick up at store. Everything went fine until I got home and unpack bag and realize we didn't get our salad I had ordered. Called store and a gentleman answered the phone. I asked to speak with a manager and he stated that nobody was there. I said someone was there running that store. I'd like to speak with that person. A (what sounded like a young lady) got on the phone and said hello. I asked who she was, and she said she doesn't like to give her name out. I asked if she was the manager. She said, no. I asked, to speak with the manager or someone running the store, she said no and hung up on me with an attitude. I called back and I was upset. The reason being is I spent over a hundred dollars for my meal and didn't get everything and she wouldn't even let me speak my problem. She asked me to stop being yelling, I told her no, you hung up on me. Of course, i'm going to be upset. Don't you know how to have customer service and fix a problem? she hung up, she would not talk to me at all. I tried 3 times and she hung up 3 times and would not listen to my problem. Now, I know why she felt uncomfortable giving out her name. She must have done this before to other people. This is who you have representing your store on your phone. Pretty sad right. I went to the store. At this point I have made two trips to your store, which is now 5.7 miles from my home to your store one way. Just for a salad. A $3.49 item. It cost me more than that in gas. That i didnt receive in the first place. I did talk to store manager and got my missing salad. But that's it. I didnt recoup any cost for added miles or problems that came from this. However, store manager did fire her on the spot. Had a great time in there last night. Went in there on April 23 at night. Bartender was great. My steak was a little bit undercooked and he was more than willing to have it refired, I felt bad, wasn't complaining - but being a past cook, I hate that. Regardless the steak was great, the baked potato was epic, the bartender was more than friendly. The New York strip steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly and they were extremely tender and very flavorful. I enjoyed every bite. Our service was just incredible. Our waitresses name was Ashley and she was just pure joy to deal with. I will also add that Ashley helped me get my mother out of the restaurant into the car as she was having a horrible incident with pain in her shoulder that happens daily and can be quite difficult to deal with all I can say is this girl is an angel and her service was impeccable and the food was incredible..... Next time when I'm in ask for a lighter sprinkle. That being said, they are wrong. Salty compared to seasoning is different. The food was alright. The staff was super sweet. My boyfriend and I went for dinner and we both ordered medium rare steaks. I will not lie, mine came out perfectly. As for my boyfriend, it was so rare you could hear it mooing! The server was super sweet and returned it to the kitchen! After a couple of tries it still was not it. Longhorn is a chain steakhouse, whose decent food, very good staff and large portions make it a good option for a casual date night or larger family gathering. The seating, decor and quiet ambience of the restaurant is a nice reprieve from the louder music-blaring and jammed seating of its competitors (such as either of the roadhouse chains). My first entrée is always the Outlaw Ribeye, which is a 20oz bone-in ribeye steak cut. It comes with a monstrous fully loaded baked potato. Everything (steak and potatoes) are laden with butter throughout, which of course makes things tasty. The steak usually comes out hot and the potatoes likewise. Occasionally, I notice the sides can be only just warm, but when that has happened they are quick to correct things. The staff is generally very nice and helpful. This always goes a long way to making the entire experience positive. If there's ever an issue I never feel like it is going to be a struggle if I have to ask for something. Drinks are always refilled fast, and the tasty bread loaf appetizer is as plentiful as you want it to be. For a chain steakhouse, this is a bit more expensive than it's competitors, but if you want to have a nicer and quieter experience (withoutupgrading way up to something like Ruth's Chris), this is your option. read more

Did a pick up order here 10/15. I forgot to look at when the order would be ready and got there super early. I called and was told it would be 40 minutes. What this really meant was it would be 50 minutes because that's when the guy eventually came out to my car with the order. You would think you could avoid the whole tipping option when you get your order with curbside pickup since there's no one actually waiting on a table for an hour or more right? Nope. I'm not, nor should anyone, tip someone 15 to 20% for spending two minutes walking forty feet. That would work out to $180 an hour on the low end of my order or $360 if he hurried. In retrospect maybe if I had, he would have remembered to have brought me the drink I paid for. So I call up the restaurant while still in the same pickup space right by the front door but have to wait for a "curbside specialist" to be summoned because bringing a small coke to a car is seemingly beyond the expertise of the ordinary person who answered. So finally the specialist answers and acknowledges the error and a new wait begins. Perhaps they were waiting for a special curbside delivery specialist to become available, who knows. At this point, I was hungry and frustrated and my kid was just going to have to get by without his Kid Coke because my dinner was now getting cold. As I pulled out, I keep hoping against hope I'd see someone scrambling out with my drink but no such luck. I got home and everything seemed fine up until I cut into the $29.29 ribeye steak. According to the chart this would appear to be either medium-rare or medium at best but certainly not medium-well. On a positive note, its a good thing you're reminded when ordering that the steak will continue to cook while in travel or I may have very well ended up with a raw piece of meat to gnaw on. The whole experience could best be described as a debacle on almost every level. Maybe the folk in the kitchen are more skilled at cooking poultry or sea food and when it comes to steaks they're in over their heads and working without the benefit of a helpful chart. Longhorn Chicken House doesn't have quite the same ring to it but might be worthy of some consideration. read more
