Came here for dinner on a Sunday night for a friends birthday. It was super easy to make a reservation through Yelp. Service was top notch and everything from the meats, cheese bread, to salad bar was delicious! My favorite cuts were the picanha, smoked sausage, and rib eye. My least favorite cut was the garlic chicken. We also got cocktails. I really enjoyed my lychee martini but it doesn't pair with the dinner too well. I went to M Grill after reading excellent reviews so I took my best friend for his birthday and everything about it was amazing. Not only was all the food cooked perfectly (and I can be very picky about that) but the service was amazing. They not only passed by with varieties of meat they would also ask what we wanted and then come out either that also so we wouldn't have to wait for it. The food at the buffet was excellent. The shrimp was very fresh and they had a beef stroganoff that I could not get enough of. I've been to the other popular Brazilian steak houses that are like this. They were very good but M-Grill was better all around with the meats, buffet and definitely the service from the entire staff. This is my go to Brazilian Steak house now. This place is now my go-to spot for Brazilian food when I'm in LA. Service is great, we don't get skipped like other places I've been too. The second time I visited this place with my cousin, one of the servers remembered us and that made us feel important that, although customers come and go, Mila remembered us and it pays to interact and have a server/customer interaction and experience. Went there for business dinner on a week night. Place was pretty packed. They have valet parking since Koreatown is horrible for parking. Meat quality was pretty good. We were right by the kitchen so we often got the burnt well done outside portion and not the medium rare inside portions. Loved the salad bar. So many variety and everything was flavorful. However, these days I've been opting for some form of all-you-can-eat instead because he's happier with quantity. The grill menu is impressive and we were able to try everything we had wanted; the Picanha, Garlic Picanha, Ribeye, and Costelao (beef rib) are all must-tries. If the gauchos (meat servers) coming around don't have your choice of meat, you can always ask your waiter and they'll have someone bring it to you. Their salad bar is also equally wonderful and features different vegetables, fruits, charcuterie and starches. But my absolute favorite of everything? The grilled pineapple! I could've eaten this all night long in place of meat and I'm glad our gaucho obliged my request for multiple pieces at our table. Honestly, I used to feel somewhat neutral about the Brazilian BBQ experience and would mainly go because it's one of my fiancé's favorite cuisines. I came to celebrate my anniversary and to begin with, nobody had a designated waiter/tress last night for tables, how we usually do when we go and the food buffet & meats needed much more flavor than other times we've gone, also the meats were not as tasty as always and super rare temps. We asked for the sweet pineapple and it took them about 20 minutes to bring it out and when it came to ask for the check there was no one around to ask to it to as I said No Waiters/tress! One of the most popular Brazilian BBQ restaurants in town right now. On a weekend night, this place is packed. We went during dine LA restaurant week promotion. But the price is about the same as regular price. Without reservation, you won't be able to get a table. luckily got our reservation at 7 pm on a Saturday night. But upon arrival, we still have to wait for another 45 minutes. Like all other AYE BBQ restaurants, M Grill offers all the beef, lamb and chicken meats on a BBQ skewers to go around each table to cut a piece for the patrons. If you want it to stop coming to your table, just turn the card on your table to red. The meats were very fresh and tasty but salty. My favorite would be their picanha steak, very tender and juicy. The BBQ cinnamon pineapple is another of my favorite, sweet and juicy. There is also a salad bar with many varieties of things including soups, cocktail shrimps, fruits and grilled vegetables. But don't eat too much of that, save room in your stomach for the main BBQ meats. During DineLA week, no dessert is served. Drinks are not included either. Service was quite good. Meats came around very frequently. The only bad thing I had was the server charged me twice on the drinks. I didn't discover that until I came home and looked at my receipt. I normally wouldn't complain about stuff like this but for the price that we paid I gotta let the people know. Otherwise food is good, ambiance can get loud but I mean everyone wants to have a convo. This was my first experience here along with my girlfriend. We loved the food, very flavorful, and the meat was very juicy and moist. The open salad/condiment bar had a nice, large selection of choices. The staff was very nice and polite; they kept us updated on seating because they were pretty busy since it was a Friday night. Not my first time in M girll! I really love this place! definitely 5stars not just food but with the employees/waiters great customer service! When you walk in you will see how clean, well decorated and table set is so nice! The waiter explained to us the green and red card, they gave a book of alcohol and showed us the salad bar! The employees made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Also, i saw other waiter assist the disabled customer, that is st very thoughtful and it shows how they value the customers. The salad bar is clean, each plate has its on serving tongs/ serving spoon. The waiter walked around with meat they tell you what meat they serve and ALL the meat was good! They don't serve meat cold ok!. Meat are very juicy, tender, soft and it melts in your mouth. The flavors was dancing in my mouth. I was in jovial mood coming in here and even when i walk out i was still in jovial. Before leaving this place we ordered desserts: the flan, crème brûlée and flourless cake, eating all the cake was the cherry on top of my day! My first time here and I'd have to say it's pretty good. The meat quality is top tier and the service is just as good. I also like that there's a salad bar to mix things up. I'd say the only drawback would be the price but you pretty much get what you pay for in terms of quality of food/quantity and service - especially since you really never have to leave your seat! hands down my FAV Brazilian bbq. M grill is located on the second floor of a plaza and they have a parking lot. However, it is free parking durning lunch hours but VALET only for dinners. I believe the Valet is roughly $6. They recently UPPED their prices to $79.99 however, they added more items to their salad bar, renovated their dining area. and i believe their service had improved with the price increase. I love how M GRIL offers grilled pineapples and they do it so deliciously. it by far my favorite thing at M grill. its $40 for kids 10 and under so if you have kids take advantage of that deal! ORKAGE & CAKE FEE $35 per bottle (750ml) for the first two, $50 for each additional bottle. Corkage is limited to bottles that they do not sell. CAKE FEE $35 For any outside cake, they will store the cake in their fridge. and will provide plates, utensils and knife for cutting. read more

They also make up for the meat with good seasonings and how fancy they try to be. You are mainly paying for the atmosphere and the flavors they add in the meat is what I'm trying to say. Valet parking is $4 dollars in the lot. Street parking will be hard to find. Once parked. You're gonna have to walk up the stairs or take an elevator to get to the restaurant. All the way down the hall to your right there will be restrooms. Before that, to your left, will be the entrance to the restaurant. The host will pretend to be nice and have you wait in the hall or if it's empty, have you wait at the bar! It would be wise to make reservations for dinner. As for lunch, inside is not so busy so feel free to do a walk ins. Food quality is average. Service is trying to do above your average restaurant experience which I personally admire. Came here as a friend invited me and I was itching for some Brazilian BBQ in my life. I try to stay away from Brazilian BBQ restaurants for the most part because of the overwhelming nature of TOO MUCH MEAT. But when dineLA offers their dinner menu at lunch for a reasonable $35 price, it's hard to turn that down! I basically measure all Brazilian BBQ with the level of "anything is better than Fogo." Really liked the cuts of meat here. My favorites were the ribeye, picanha, top sirloin, and bottom sirloin. Overall, it was a much wider selection than Fogo. Salad bar is also pretty legit, as they had a few choice items that included shrimp and mussels. Service here was on point, no complaints on my end. They literally bumrushed up with so much meat that we had to turn our table cards to red just to be able to eat some of the accumulated food on our plates. Never a bad thing, of course. Definitely a fan at the price point offered as I got my money's worth. Not sure I would get my money's worth at the dinner price, nor do I want to eat that much meat that late in a day! read more

I came here for DineLA with some friends and was disappointed. First, we were told by the host that the DineLA price was $65, which is $5 off the regular price BUT it included Shrimp. During our meal, we asked for Shrimp and they didn't have any. They also didn't have Ribeye, Filet Mignon and Chicken Hearts. The only decent cut they had was Picanha and those were some salt bombs. The meats were A+ but it took long bring them out. especially the pineapple. We requested for it 4 or so times. This is a special occasion place. We go once or twice a year for birthdays. This year we went with our 5-month old on a busy Friday night. Even though the restaurant was packed, service was attentive, and the quality of food was excellent. They have an extensive wine list with many reasonably priced botfles, and great cocktails. I don't eat beef or pork, so I'm a wash on the meal, but they took great care of making sure I had chicken and shrimp. The salad bar is amazing. read more

MGrill is one those go to places for great food and by great food I mean the meats! They have a nice setup of a buffet and the redesign they did of the restaurant is amazing! If you've never tried an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse, do yourself a favor, make the drive to Korea town and stop into MGrill. My favorite cuts of meat has to be their picanha followed by the filet mignon. They do other variations of picanha as well like garlic and Parmesan. They also do chicken,lamb and sausages, all great if you are willing to try. They have a great selection of wine and cocktails so if you're in the mood pick one of your liking. Finished the night off with they crème brûlée, another thing that was amazing. The staff every time I've gone has been friendly and accommodating asking what meat would I like to try next, don't hesitate to let them know, they will bring it right out for you.
