I've been going to M Grill for a long time -- probably around 10 times--and it has always been consistently excellent. It's an all-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ, and everything from the bread and salad bar to all of the meats is delicious. The ambience is nice, the service is always friendly, and the wine selection has consistently been very good as well. The last time I visited was in April 2024 for a company lunch, when all employees gathered to celebrate my boss's granddaughter's first birthday. Before that, in November 2023, I also hosted my birthday family dinner here. That evening came out to about $1,000 including tip, but it was absolutely worth it--we were very satisfied and had a wonderful experience. All of the food was delicious, and we truly had a happy and memorable time. I've been coming here countless times over the years for company lunches, company dinners, birthday celebrations, and date nights, and it has been great every single time.

    My bday sweet treat!

I spent my 38th birthday here and had such a lovely experience celebrating another year being alive with my husband and family. Our whole table enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. The salad bar is one of my favorites at a steakhouse and the meats... ohwee! So delectable and juicy. Most def will come back for future bdays!! Thank you M grill staff. I wish I got names because everyone was quite lovely!!!! Keep it up!! :)

Ambiance is low key and comfortable. Hosts are nice and welcoming. Food service is non-stop (if you choose) bringing around all your favorites as well as special orders like lamp which takes a few minutes. All in all, I will definitely recommend and revisit again.

M Grill far exceeded my expectations, my friends and I have been talking about this place for years & finally had the chance to try it out. We go to Brazilian bbq restaurants about 2-4 times a year (usually Fogo & Texas De Brazil) we were all in agreement that M Grill is up on another than them. A lot of similar cuts and style of meats but M Grill does it better. The service was also fantastic, when they would check in on us and ask if we had any requests that item would show up in under 4 minutes. I happened to notice their attention to detail from across the table. One of the managers (in a grey coat) noticed I reached for my glass that was out of water. Before I could even ask one of the waiters for a refill she had already sent someone over to top our glasses off. They also make great use of the space, it's not as big as most Brazilian steakhouses I've been to but they maximize the seating well, which brings me to this tip and that's to make sure you call and make a timed reservation since they typically don't do walk ins. We came on a Sunday around 7 and it was pretty much a full house. Last thing is parking, they have a lot behind wilshire & its $6 to valet.

My husband decided on M Grill for his birthday dinner. This was only our second time here since we live in Orange County and don't tend to be in LA often. We were greeted right away. I told the hostess about my reservation and we were seated within 5 minutes. The music was light and the lights were dimmed. It was a good date night setting without being too formal. The table for 2 felt too small but it was ok as long as plates were being taken away quickly. The bread was ok. It was much better at other Brazilian steakhouses. The salad bar had a good variety of items. I was happy to see the chimichurri and hot sauce. Broccolini is always nice to see. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the roasted garlic. The meats we flavorful but a little chewy. The chicken thighs were really good. We were surprised with the grilled shrimps. It's not on the online menu so we didn't expect to see it. So glad it was served. Much needed in the mix of all the heavy meats. My favorite is always the grilled pineapple! I asked for so many that the guys with the pineapples always made a spot at my table to ask if I wanted more. I was a very happy camper. This place is worth a try. I'll be back when we're in the area.

I have been coming to M Grill for my birthday and other special occasions for about a decade now and every time I come, I am amazed by the quality of food and service provided. I would like to make an honorable mention to my favorite server there, Jose Garcia. He made our last few visits at M Grill extra memorable and fun. If you have a chance to chat him up for a second don't miss out on it. Thank you M Grill for making my bday special! Favorite restaurant ever!

To me, M grill is one of the better brazilian bbq in los angeles. What sets them apart is their chicken hearts. They're garlicky and cooked to perfection. Their salad bar is always stocked and offers a large variety. we came here for my cousins birthday celebration and she definitely felt special. Would recommend to any folks trying to celebrate a special occasion, just make a reservation stating it. Parking is valet and i believe it was $6 unfortunately.

Very delicious all you can eat steakhouse. Took my husband here for his birthday and they made it extra special with a welcome sign. The environment is classy and dark. Its a but pricey but worth it.

Came here for a private party (dol) midday on the weekend. I'm not typically a "steak guy", but I tried almost everything and liked it all - even the chicken hearts. I saved room by passing on the soup/salad bar except for the shrimp and smoked salmon. My young son enjoyed the meatballs, smoked salmon, and pulled ribs the most. The highlight was undoubtedly the service. Granted, there were no customers outside of the private party we were attending. But it was still nice to be checked on and receive clean plates constantly. And of course it's key in a place like this that the servers come by often. Highly recommend for private parties!

came here for my besties bday but it's not the first time I've been here. M grill has the BEST salad bar out of any restaurant I have ever been to. I'd come here for the salad bar alone lol They have the servers come around and serve you cuts of meat from a giant piece off the grill. My fav is def the rib eye. Everyone loves the pineapple here but I'm not a fat of grilled fruit. Also the grilled cheese w the honey is a new addition (not sure how new cus last time I came was years ago) the first couple of bites are good but I can't seem to finish it ever. And whatever the fried thing is that they serve you for the appetizer is FIRE. Also m grill has the BEST Brazilian cheese bread. The star of the show for me is the hot sauce. The orange one. I love it. And the variety of peppers they have is heaven for me. It is quite pricey so I do only come here on special occasions but it's so worth it everytime. They switched up the entrance and I like entering from the new entrance better, it's a whole new vibe. Also I really like the little lamp they have on the tables. Can I take one next time as a souvenir? :D

Complimentary dulce de leche birthday cake

My family took me here for my birthday, and we all had a really fun time! It was my family's first time having Brazilian food, and I was really happy that they enjoyed the food, service, vibes, and experience so much. I didn't take many pictures because I was so focused on eating , sorry. Compared to Fogo de Chao, service and food quality is much better. Ambiance was fancy and quiet. When you are first seated, the waiters bring out most of the meats so that you can try each and decide which is your favorite. After that, the waiters will often check on you to ask which meats you would like so they can bring them directly to you. The meats are very soft and hot and well-flavored. The waiters also frequently clear your used plates so that you're almost always using clean dishware (they must have so much dishwashing to do). I really loved the salad and soup bar as well: their kale salad, arugula salad, corn cream soup, and mushroom soups were our favorites. The chimichurri sauce was sooooo good. Of the meats, we really liked the picanha, short ribs, and bottom sirloin. They also gave me a dulce de leche cake for my birthday, which was very good. The one negative part of our experience was how much our water cost. Our waitress asked us if we would like sparkling or still water. We ordered one sparking (to be fancy) but wanted to get normal water for the rest of us to not get charged. We were confused by our waitress's question and thought still water was the regular water. When we got our bill, we discovered that both the still and sparkling waters cost $9, so we ended up paying $18 on water, which was an unpleasant surprise. Ultimately my family and I had a wonderful time. We probably won't come back just because of how expensive it is, but it's definitely worth it to come here for a special occasion! Valet parking cost $6 (otherwise you have to find street parking in Koreatown, which can be a nightmare).

California offered an immediate rush of light, space, and possibility. My memory is that when I turned my phone back on at LAX, my friend messaged to say he'd gotten us the hookup at Bestia. That dinner belongs to a chapter in which I spent considerable time in California and felt energized by the contrast with New York. My friend is highly discerning, with impeccable taste in food, design, and culture. He notices details most people miss, so when a place impresses him, I pay attention. From the moment I saw his message, I knew the reservation meant something. Even before we entered, Bestia's character was evident. Faded lettering crossed the corrugated metal facade, while brick walls and old loading doors preserved the warehouse's industrial history. Inside, enormous windows and garage doors brought light into a room shaped by glass, exposed ductwork, and warm amber pendants. When I fantasize about living in a loft, many of the attributes I picture are here, especially the incredible windows and connection to the street. Inside the restaurant, the dining room achieved a combination I rarely encounter. It had the table density and collective buzz of a great New York restaurant, but within a large, design-forward space closer in scale to something found in Chicago. New York creates energy through tight rooms, while Chicago excels at ambitious spaces with strong architectural identities. Bestia captured both advantages and made its considerable footprint feel alive and unified. We sat shoulder to shoulder at a pale stone counter facing the open kitchen. Golden era hip hop was playing, and A Tribe Called Quest still rings a very specific bell. I ordered the squid ink pasta, and it was exquisite, with enough depth and precision to command attention amid everything happening around us. We also spotted an unmistakably A-list celebrity, whom I will leave unnamed, making the night feel quintessentially Los Angeles. During that period, I often stayed at the Ace Hotel downtown, and the Arts District felt vibrant, raw, and full of possibility. The proximity to Skid Row could be deeply jarring, with severe hardship existing beside ambitious development and expensive restaurants. That contrast kept the neighborhood from feeling like a neat story of urban renewal, even as Bestia seemed to anchor its evolution. The warehouses and loading docks gave the area a character that no new development could convincingly recreate. Nearby, I also remember the American Apparel complex during its demise and the rise of impossibly cool Los Angeles designer John Elliott. His Escobar sweatpants and Villain hoodie helped define the kit of that moment; loyalists will understand. Los Angeles is a fickle city, drawn toward whatever is new and shiny, which makes Bestia's longevity especially impressive. Scene without substance is plastic, and Bestia earned its electricity through exceptional cooking, assured service, and a remarkable space; if I lived in Los Angeles, this would be one of the places I'd rely on whenever I wanted to impress someone. This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the world.
