Surprisingly delicious. We looked for a breakfast place that was open after 1pm and found this place. Looked up the menu and Saw they make chilaquiles...it's hard to find a place where they know how to make them right, I tried them and I give it a "10"...delicious crunchy, spicy but not that spicy, cheesy with a side of perfect tasty beans with queso fresco. Within that time frame, 4 other parties left and 4 other parties came in. I noticed our food was very cold but dismissed it because of the ceiling fans now that I think about it I can't imagine that there would be no heat whatsoever to our food if it was fresh. Tried to eat here on a Sunday morning, came in just before 10. Service was definitely not it. Although we were seated quickly, after drinks were served they completely disregarded us for the next 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, the server came over stating that she seen us looking around and that there was an error with our ticket. She continued to say the ticket did not print in the kitchen and that the food would be out shortly. In the 40 minutes that we were waiting, others who came in after us had been served. The venue was a smaller seating area, with at max 5 other groups eating. It should have not been that difficult to access that we should have received the food earlier, or even to check in and explain the situation. The server offered to comp our drinks which felt more like an insult as it was the cheapest part of the meal. I understand accidents happen, but transparency regarding the mistake would have gone a long way. We will not be returning. read more

The rating is a mixture of food and service. The service was really what made me give them one star. This small place is hidden next to UPS store off Panama. First impression decor is nice refreshing. Space is good for a breakfast place. We were a party of 6 we were told we can have a booth or tables, obviously we chose tables thinking we can put them together. Of course we were told no lol. My impression of the host was she was not welcoming and a bit rude. The waitress was not friendly and she was in my opinion SICK !!!! The thing is if you are serving food and whether it's allergies or sickness wear a mask and maybe don't make it obvious with your sniffling. We ordered our drinks, and have zero clue how you get HOT CHOCOLATE wrong lol and bring chocolate milk???? after the waitresses mistake she was bothered and proceeded to tell the hostess and they were both giving us smug looks as they proceeded to giggle ( I didn't hear them but I mean.... I really don't know what to say about this place. We decided to try it for lunch. The service was extremely slow but it wasn't the fault of the servers. The kitchen was backed up because of an amount of customers that I assume was unusual for them to handle. I watched as the cook took one ticket at a time off the spindle. Very generous portions and very fresh food but so slow that parts of the dish served died before it got to the table. I ordered the club sandwich which should be a very simple thing to put out. Donna ordered a Cobb salad which again should be simple. Even though it was more than 40 minutes before we got our food. We noted the servers standing at the window waiting for food with nothing else to do. The kitchen appeared to be completely overwhelmed. A table of 10 was served one person at a time. Their breakfast food looked delicious but because of the slowness they were not able to enjoy their meal together until I'm sure some of the food was cold. When I got my club sandwich it was served with fries but they were lukewarm and limp. The contents of the sandwich turkey and bacon were both very fresh and tasty. Horrible food and even worse services. To start out it took 20-25 minutes to even get a menu once our party of four sat down. The place only had 5-6 other tables occupied and if it wasn't for another person sitting at a table near us it would have been longer. The waitress went to refill his coffee and ask if he need anything else and the guy told her she needed to give us a menu and drinks. Once the waitress finally approached our table she stated they were slow so do to the lack of workers that day. I totally get that help is hard to find but if services is that slow then maybe she should have stayed off her cellphone behind the counter and worked a little harder. Once we placed our order the food took about 30 minutes to get. The food was cold and my chicken fried steak was hard as a rock. I kindly pushed the plate back and asked for the check. The waitress then took another 15 minutes or so to bring that but the worst part is she took the full plates of food off the table and never once asked how it was. To me that shows they are use to food getting trashed. It's pretty sad to see business struggling these days but the paying customers should be treated better especially if you're going to charge 65 dollars for four plates of inedible food.
