    Monsterous popover!
    Elaine M.

Amazing... Trying to put into words what a great experience this was! And I can't seem to find the right words to describe! Took my 11 yo daughter to have special lunch here and she was tickled pink to get the vegetable penne (on the kids menu)! I also let her choose a drink, and she got the ginger beer which she claimed was 'very gingery!' The popovers were being baked when we arrived so we had to wait a bit before we got them but man! So Worth The Wait. Just like everyone says, the strawberry butter has you licking your lips and the little cup of consommé ... the perfect touch. From the reviews, I got the NM Burger and boy, those reviews were right, one of the juiciest burgers I've ever had. And they cooked it to your preference - for me that was medium rare. The truffle fries kinda stole the show... light little crispy fries, didn't need ketchup they were seasoned so well. We ended the meal with a dreamsicle slice of cake, recommended by our waiter. It was the perfect ending!

Great location for our Lunch Bunch. The restaurant is conveniently located on the third floor of Neiman Marcus at Willow Bend. I loved that. I could make reservations on open table. App We sat in a wonderful little booth and had two servers attending to us our entire visit. Light but delicious lunch options available. Loved the spiced tea and the chicken salad. Friends had Stanley Marcus pot roast and loved it. Don't miss the popovers and strawberry butter that they serve when you arrive. The consommé was a nice touch too. Overall great experience. Look forward to coming back again soon.

Love this place! I had to make a stop to customer service and couldn't resist stopping in for a quick bite next door. I love the popovers here... I just can't resist. The service is always great also. I got a crab cake appetizer and an aperol spritzer. They serve you a delectable chicken broth and popover with your meal. Everything was great! I highly recommend!

I guess my biggest surprise about coming here was how much better this location is then the Northpark mall location. And just so you know I was comparing apples to apples I ordered the exact same thing at both locations. I ordered the cheeseburger meal which came with french fries. The burger here was cooked perfectly and you would not even know it was supposed to be the exact burger I had ordered it was The exact same burger that I had ordered at Northpark. The one at Northpark was dry and overcooked and almost ruined me from ever ordering a burger at Neiman Marcus again. One bite into this burger and I was glad that I had ordered one again. I also had a bite Of the grilled pimento cheese sandwich. It was amazing and will probably be what I order the next time I come.

Always a favorite for my best friend and me! We celebrated my birthday today and Ariana was so lovely. she made sure my celebration dessert was gluten free - such a sweet gesture. The service and food are wonderful. We will definitely be back soon!

Delicious and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. My wife and I were very happy to find a Paleo friendly menu inside of a mall.

I really enjoyed the American cuisine here--great food and a nice atmosphere overall…read more I ordered the French onion soup and the Reuben eggrolls. The French onion soup seems to be popular here, and as soon as I saw that buttery-looking pastry puff baked on top, I knew I had to order it! It was definitely hearty, with plenty of onions (which I love). However, it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I do wish there were an option to substitute the onion soup with a chowder, like clam or corn chowder. The Reuben eggrolls were surprisingly good! I'm used to traditional Asian eggrolls, so I really liked this creative twist. The house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, and melted Gruyère cheese worked so well together. They tasted amazing with the spicy Russian dipping sauce (which I appreciated wasn't too spicy). It was such a flavorful and memorable dish! I'm glad I gave it a try.

Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. It's definitely different than sitting in the bar section in very small tables and booths next to the bar. I would never choose to sit in the tables in the bar area. Unfortunately, as our luck would have it, whenever we select the standard seating, we tend to be sat in the small bar tables. This time I asked them to move us. They accommodated us (there were two large booths available in the main area), but the attitude was not great in doing so. The bar seating issue is enough to make me think about whether I want to go there again. Our server, Madison, was great. She was helpful, friendly, communicated well, and let us set the pace. Started with cocktails, which was an interesting experience, because the bar had some difficulties and so each of four drinks was brought out one at a time with a few minutes in between each. Not a huge deal but weird. Enjoyed a couple of wedge salads, which were nice. For entrées, one couple shared the flat iron steak, which they both enjoyed. The crabcake and fillet special was very good. The fried pork rustica was excellent. It's a lot of pork, but I would recommend it.

It truly is the best beard I have ever had before. I would come eat here again JUST FOR THE BREAD. The crab cake is out of this world. Huge jumbo clumps. Also comes with a variety of sauces.
