I am a huge fan of this joint. My favorites include: shrimp taco, fish taco, shrimp tostada, and shrimp in the diablo sauce. I love coming here on the weekends. I always leave feeling full and satisfied. I typically get great service while I am here as well, which is a huge plus. Heck, I'd come here if the service was sub-par just because the shrimp tacos are so delicious. And they don't skimp on avocados here, as you can see in the photos. I've been living within 5 minutes drive of this place for the past 3 years, but I never stepped in. Boy, do I regret that. I ordered take out for dinner and got some of their fish tacos and shrimp tacos. THEY ARE DELICIOUS! Hands down, they have the best fish tacos in Fullerton. Their customers are mostly, if not all, Hispanic so it was weird being the only asian waiting for food. Parking is limited because the lot is small, but it's definitely the place to go for seafood tacos. We've been coming here for years. The fush tacos are delicious. Highly recommend the whole fish with garlic sauce. The Seven Sea soup is yummy. Nice and filling. I've been coming here since I was really little. The owners are very nice. This location isn't in the nicest area, but once inside it's very clean. They serve a variety of Mexican seafood. Their ceviche tostada are the best. I'm not a fan of onion, but I don't mind picking them out. My absolute favorite thing to eat here is their shrimp cocktail. When ordering out they don't include the chips and salsa. But other than that, this place is awesome. They also have a location in downtown Santa Ana And off the 55 fwy and MacAurhur. read more

Bit of an enigma this place is. Most of the reviews rate it fantastic, but beyond the chips and cocktails, theres not much else. I live very close by, and on a number of occasions have gone here since they love the shrimp cocktails, and with good reason. They ARE very good, but upon exploring the menu, we couldnt find much else that was as exciting or delicious. Several of the dishes were poorly put together or even overcooked/burnt on a number of occasions. Service is 50/50. I have had good service, and I have had the occasion terrible experience. There is one girl in particular who has a nasty disposition and seems to not care at all. Get the cocktails... its their specialty and an oasis in a sea of bland. read more

Have been on the hunt for a great shrimp cocktail in this area since my favorite places closed down a few years ago. So I yelped and this one looked like it was worth a shot. Have to say very impressed with the cocktail. Got the large and added avocado to it. Flavor was great and the size was nice. Will be back this weekend for a few more and my fiancée loved it also. My friend had recommended this place a while back. Coming home from a birthday party, thought my BF and I could check it out. Asked for 2 Micheladas with Modelo Especial, it had so much Clamato juice it tasted like we were having beer with shrimp cocktail juice in it. Our server never cracked a smile, no hello really, more like " I really don't want to be here but need to help you" attitude. My shrimp cocktail was ok, nothing spectacular, he had a Asada torta, which we asked another server to bring, we had no idea where our server was, torta was mediocre, a little too much gristle on it. Our server checked on us after we asked yet another server for the check. Our server saw our payment on the table but never came over to pick it up, her service was not enough for me be impressed and motivate me to leave her a tip. I was not impressed. This was one of the only times Yelp has sent me somewhere with awesome reviews and it just didn't work for me. The parking was full so I had to park in the Alberto's parking lot across the street. This is not a great area and I was alone, so that wasn't really fun. I met up with my friend at the restaurant, which was super busy, but nobody approached us when we walked in. I had to walk up to a server, who it turned out didn't speak any English, and then she pointed at a table. We waited about 20 minutes before getting our chips and drinks, then another 20 before anyone took our order. Other people ate and left before we had even ordered. The server finally told us there was a miscommunication about whose section we were in, so nobody was really taking care of us. Luckily I speak Spanish, otherwise my two monolingual friends would have been really confused. They probably would have left. Anyway, we finally did get our food. All three of us ordered something different - I got a fish taco and a shrimp taco, one of my friends got the shrimp cocktail, and my other friend got the shrimp tostada. It all looked amazing, but then none of us were really blown away by the taste. By the way, the fish in the tacos is not fried and it comes with only red cabbage and sauce. The shrimp taco on the other hand comes with lettuce, tomato, rice, and sauce. I'm a wimp when it comes to spice and to me, the rice was too spicy for me to even eat. My mouth was on fire, so I ended up just eating the shrimp and lettuce out of the tortilla. Oh, and it took a long time for us to get our check and nobody came to ask us how the food was once it was brought out. I didn't really see anything noteworthy about Mariscos Clemente and our experience with the service was especially terrible, so I don't think I'll be back. read more
