The restaurant is really nice. Conveniently located right off the I-215. You can choose a table or bench and sit with friends or by your self. It's very clean and well decorated. The food is delicious and prepared quickly so you don't have to wait long. If you enjoy Mexican food and can eat it everyday then this is a gray place to eat. Add salsa to your liking to give it more flavor and kick. read more

I don't know why this Miguel's only has 3 stars. The food is fresh and tastes great. The beef tacos and cheese enchiladas are very good. The carne Asada is always tender. Great for Mexican fast food. This is coming from someone who grew up on authentic Mexican food. Take my word for it. read more

my kids love their plain Bean (out of the can) and cheese burritos. The chips are above average. As a true latino with much experience in eating authentic mex. food I would say this is a minor league Mexican restraunt. This place is a branch of Miguel's cocina which an awesome chain but Miguel's jr is NOTHING like it... The carne asada chips were 10 dollars, very small, not that good and had to pay extra to get carne asada. They don't have traditional salsa or pico de giao and they only have shredded chicken, no grilled chicken. The guacamole was runny and not authentic. This is the only mexican place I've been too that's on the same level as Taco Bell which is a shame to say because the parent restaurant of this place is amazing. Won't be coming back. read more

I love Miguel's! This just recently opened in Countryside Marketplace (next to Petco and Target). I've been to the one in Murrieta and I live in Hemet so this one is a little closer for me. This location has great service, yummy mexican food and a drive thru! My go to item are the chicken taquitos with the rice and beans. So good. I've heard the burritos are pretty good too. I'm glad Menifee is starting to get more restaurants and this is a great choice! Their prices are pretty average but you get a great amount for what you get. read more

What I said in another review still applies...people are very finicky about their Mexican food (as you can see by the other reviews of Miguel's, Jr.). Miguel's Jr. is a go-to joint for basic Mexican fast food. I really do like the El Potato Burrito with carne asada (to which I add a side of guacamole). However, the last time I was there they were out of potatoes. Wow--really(?) Needless to say I was bummed. Miguel's Jr. is slightly overpriced in my opinion, but I like the food enough to go there fairly regularly. The restaurant is clean enough and the service is adequate. read more

I am done with this place!! They just can't get it right! On 3 separate occasions they have overcooked the tortillas for the enchilada's making them super tough. Forgot to add special order sour cream to burrito. Yesterday the rice for 2 burritos and combination dinner was undercooked and crunchy. Its not cheap that order was $20 plus. The food is flavorful and pretty good for fast food but it doesn't out way wondering if when I get home if its going to edible. read more

CIRCLING THE DRAIN. I'm just waiting for the "closed for business" sign to appear in this location. When it first opened a couple years ago, it had long lines because of customer curiosity. Now, business has dwindled to almost nothing... and for good reason. The food here was never really great, but at least the portions were decent sized when the store first opened. The portions have quickly decreased in size while the prices remained high for a drive thru. Add to that some very bland, greasy food, and you've got a recipe for disaster. For a fast food joint supposedly launched from a great Mexican standalone restaurant, the food is amazingly bad. I would scrap the entire menu and start over... but the bad reputation has obviously already taken hold. In addition, the employees (mostly snarky teenage girls) are unfriendly and seem annoyed, especially if you ask for condiments or utensils. I'm really curious to see how long this place can exist without customers. Goodbye, Miguel's Jr... and good riddance. read more

Love the salsa, liked to potato burrito and was disappointed with the California Chile burrito. It was supposed to be stuffed with a chile relleno, beans, rice, and cheese but was actually 90% rice with a few strips of chilies. A tiny smattering of refried beans and dollop of cheese at the bottom. Major fail. read more

I have mixed feelings. The food is great, the service sucks. The cashier was rude and unhelpful. I got a taco salad which is huge but they give you the smallest amount of dressing for it, its a joke. I asked for extra dressing, didn't get it, asked for green salsa got red and asked for a side of lemon didn't get it. Food was great though. read more

I visited the one in Menifee for the first time ON Saturday, 12/12/2015 at around 9:40 pm and the food sucked! My wife Order the #4 Chile Relleno combo with a cheese enchilada and it SUCKED! Chile relleno and the rice were fricking cold and the cheese enchilada was nothing but a cold corn tortilla with cheese, hard fricking cheese. Cheese enchiladas are supposed have melted cheese. I ordered their Garbage shredded beef burrito and that is exactly what I got a GARBAGE BURRITO. read more

It's a decent place and a major step up from Taco Bell. However it's a step down from places like Los Jilberto's. The shredded beef tacos lacked flavor and the taco shell fell apart. The beans were pretty good. read more

I eat at Miguel's Jr all the time, but never this locations and definitely never this location again! I've never in my life had people treat me so rude at a restaurant. First impression was the awful smell but I figured I would just get used to that, but then they scowled at my 1 year old for spilling a small amount of rice on the floor under her high chair, didn't apologize or even say a word for that matter when I had to return my quesadilla because a entire slice had NO cheese in it and when they remade it they didn't say a word to me; just a dirty look and shoved a quesadilla my way. I couldn't stop talking about it I was so shocked!!! Very very awful customer service!! read more

Disappointing lunch today on our way to Lowes.. Had a Quesadilla & taquitos for $15 rather expensive for portion sizes smaller than the local fast food chains. could have gotten the same thing for about $6 at del taco or taco bell. read more

They have great food and I'm never disappointed! The drive thru line is always pretty long but the wait isn't that bad. I am concerned, however, because the last time I was there they had a sign saying they will be changing their combos (which almost always means a price increase). Keep up the good work and keep your prices reasonable! read more

Yuck! Not authentic at all! I can't believe I spent over $30 on this food! I knew we should of went to Red Robin and spend the same amount of money. The wannabe guacamole was watery and bright green (kinda like baby poop). The chile rellenos grossed me out and the portions are tiny for the price. Very dissapointed. read more

The customer service at this location is absolutely horrible. My girlfriend and I arrived at 8:50 to get a quick bite after working all day. The cashier's first word were "we close in nine minutes". Not "hello" or "welcome to Miguel's". We proceeded to order and were told "You have to take this to go because we're closing". I replied "You're open now though, correct?" After establishing that they were indeed open we said we wanted to eat there. We then got to listen to snarky comments from the staff behind the counter while we waited for our food. We saw a large group of at least 10 people come in who wanted to order but were told that unless their order was to go they couldn't be served. It was not yet 9:00 pm. They chose to go to In-n-Out. We should have too. I suggest avoiding this restaurant at all costs as there are so many other GOOD dining choices in Menifee now. We will never go back. read more

I'm not sure why they have such a low score. I think that their bean burritos are delicious. My hubby likes the Garbage burrito. They have the best refried beans. I also like their taquitos & tacos. I love their green sauce. This is one place that the whole family can agree upon. read more

Absolutely absurd, arrived with my wife @ 8:35 after shopping next door at the mattress store. Waited to order for five minutes only to have the manager Tomo come to the counter and tell us the seating area closes at 9:00 and we had to be out by then. A family of 5 entered after us and he told them the same. I proceeded to ask the managers name and Tomo said it was he, and he was just following orders. Any restaurant that feels they have enough business to rudely tell costumers that doesn't deserve my business. The family behind us said the same as they had young children and just wanted to eat a nice meal. Look across the parking lot if you want to see a business serving customers. This was the first time a restaurant has ever said anything like this to me. It's understandable if it was 9:00pm, but not prior too. No more business from our family... too many restaurants want my business! Sad that any restaurant is arrogant enough to tell people 25 minutes before closing they have to be out without being able to enjoy their meal. Hope others such as the people behind us complain and tell Miguel He's to shove it as we are!!! They do not belong in business!!!! I love Miguels Jr. I used to go with dance friends in high school and still and a fan 6 years later. Great Mexican food for a chain place. My dad always likes this place. I was desperate for some Mexican food (usually I go to my taco tuesday spot in temecula), but I had to pick up somebody up north so I decided a quick trip for some food in Menifee would be good. I debated on In-N-Out/Panara/Miguel Jr's which are located in close proximity to each other in this shopping center. I decided instead of going to Panara I would stop by here because I was craving some tacos. So no they don't have a taco tuesday special. I got 2 tacos, chips, and a drink. I like to make food myself and when I treat myself for some food I expect it to be decent. The tacos were lackluster; hard shell, some shredded chicken, lettuce, and cheese. C'mon at least put some tomatoes or something for flavor. They tasted like nothing even with the 2 salsa choices. The chips were so bland even though I was hungry I couldn't finish half of them. Well my search for a new taco spot (closer to my work/home) will go on. Overall I felt like I was eating at a nice Taco Bell/Del Taco. We LOVE Miguel's we eat here too often. The potato burrito is really good! I've tried all the different meats with it but it's the yummy seasoned potatoes I go back for. The food is always very fresh and Leif at the drive through window is so nice. My girl friend is vegetarian and they are always easy to order from with the burritos with no meat. Or taco salad with no meat. Cant say enough good about it. read more

I like to start by saying the food is always awesome. Been going to the one in Corona for over 25 years. With the one here in Menifee is quite a disappointment. They've messed up my food and act like it's my problem when I get home and call them. And then go back to get my food corrected in the manager just dropped it on the counter. The manager informed me that upper management would be upset if she did anything to compensate me for having to come back because of the problem. I find it disappointing because the food is so great and I've always have perfect service in Corona. Maybe this is what happens when they expand. read more
