This is a wonderful place to eat if you're looking for food made with care and love and personable service! The ambiance is very warm and inviting. I've come here with friends for dinner a few times, and definitely plan to come more often! It always feels very intimate like we are at a dinner party. We got the fried zucchini as an appetizer and WOOOOW! It was so yummy. I also got the Lamb Shish Kabob and it was flavorful and a good sized serving. BYOB is a plus, the vibes are just really great. This is a unique spot out of all of the Italian places in the North End, you get something different that you will really enjoy! Our server, Martha, was so fun, attentive, and friendly. My husband visited a few weeks prior and enjoyed it so we came for dinner. He felt that the food was not nearly as fresh and the bread was stale. The owner asked us why we did not finish the food multiple times and so my husband explained. She quickly said well the bread is fresh maybe it's just the mood you are in. After already paying she came back and asked for feedback and when I began to speak she told me I did not need to speak for my husband and did not need to speak at all. She explicitly asked for feedback and her reaction was unprofessional and unwarranted. Will never return to an establishment with such clear disregard for customers. Bad meals happen but how you handle it speaks volumes. read more

One of my favorite spots in the North End! It's nice to have an option that's not Italian food. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. The ambience and decor is lovely. I've dined in and ordered take out from Mood and both experiences were great. The hummus & meze sampler are both fresh and delicious. The chicken shawarma & the beef shawarma dishes are excellent as well. I'm also a big fan of the pistachio latte. Just a heads up - the restaurant is BYOB but don't let that deter you. There's a wine shop just a block away from the restaurant so you can easily grab a bottle from there and enjoy! read more

Pancakes were so fluffy!!!! Coffee was also amazing, customer service was the best I've had in a while.

The atmosphere was really nice and inviting. I had the Prime Rib sandwhich and the watermelon salad which was pretty good. Also had the pistachio latte - which has the pistachio butter on the rim I enjoyed it. The woman serving us was very friendly she mentioned it was a new spot. read more

Please go here! This is a breeze of fresh air into the north end, which has limited options other than Italian. I'm really hoping it does well. I have been twice now and plan on coming back often and bringing all of my friends. The food is amazing with unique flavors. Everything I have ordered has been good, from the tea to the hummus to the entrees to the dessert. My friend had the strawberry salad, and she also said it was good. The staff is very nice and professional. And the environment is friendly and clean. No complaints! read more

Stopped by after work for an absolute treat. The meal I chose took a while to make, but the staff warned me appropriately and even gave me a free falafel with my wait. Loved the sandwich I got, the Hawawshi Soujouk. Ambience here was so peaceful and kind, I don't know if I've ever felt more welcome in a restaurant before. The chef even made an appearance to ask how the customers were enjoying the meals. All this on a random Wednesday. Will be coming back happily :) read more

One of my favorite stops while in Boston! Stopped in for a late breakfast on a snowy morning. We started with a pistachio latte and a cardamom latte the pistachio was so good, the cardamom was strongly spiced we both preferred the pistachio. For food we had the shakshuka with pita and Mediterranean Omelette with a side of potatoes. The shakshuka had perfectly cooked eggs and a hearty sprinkle of feta, the pita was soft and warm. The omelette was well filled and the potatoes were described as fries but were so much better than American style fries.
