This is my absolute favorite vietnamese restaurant! I moved further away and I still make the drive here because it's that good. Their charbroiled pork is actually magic. I don't know what they put in it and I don't care. It's genuinely my favorite food. I usually get a charbroiled pork pho with chicken broth and it's always so good. I also get charbroiled pork spring rolls. Their spring rolls don't have cucumber, which is perfect because I personally hate cucumber. I'm also a fan of their bun vermicelli (charbroiled pork obvi) on a warmer day or on the rare occasion I'm not craving pho. Their fish sauce is also one of my favorite things. It's the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. The fresh squeezed lemonade soda is another 5/5. It's like fair lemonade, but sparkling. Perfect mix of sweet and sour. The service is always great and they're always accommodating when I ask for a boatload of extra limes. In general, this is my most favorite restaurant and I always get so excited when I get to come here. read more

We have frequented this restaurant since before the pandemic. I was so happy it made it through that tough time. The pho here is good but they don't serve Chinese donuts so I usually opt for the Lemongrass Beef vermicelli bowl, which is such a refreshing summer noodle dish. Highly recommend! Service is prompt and friendly. There is ample parking in the shopping center, and I can't recall ever needing to wait for a table. Extended winter weather means more soup and they did not disappoint. You're welcomed the moment you enter. The portions are hearty. The small is more like a large and a large is an extra large lol. Edible. As someone who grew up eating Vietnamese food, I don't think that anything from their menu particularly intrigued me. The pho was good but the broth was lacking and could've used more flavor. Egg rolls were fine especially with the daikon but I've definitely had better. We also had their seafood fried rice as well but it just tasted like white rice. Always passed by this pho place, but never got to try. Me and boyfriend decided to try this place out and it was delicious! We got egg rolls (4 pieces), the grand combo vermicelli, and the rare steak/brisket/tendon/trip pho! Service was great and the lady was super nice. Closest pho near home. Unless we drive 30 minutes out to Little Saigon, this place is my go-to place for the rice noodle soup in the neighborhood. Service is always prompt & friendly. Alright, so I decided to give this place a few more visits in hoping that maybe the quality has improved... and it has! Over the past few visits that I stopped by here for lunch, the hostess was friendly and allowed me to sit wherever I wanted. I ordered the Pho #12/12A several times and the broth has definitely improved since my initial experience, where I felt the broth was bland. So it wasn't that it was bland or lacked flavor, it was more so that I unfairly compared it to the broth at my favorite pho spot Pho 79/101 - of whom create their broth overnight boiling oxtails. The broth - which I've always felt "makes or breaks" your bowl of pho - at My Pho isn't necessarily bad, it's just more cleaner and as a result, lacks the fattyness that gives Pho 79/101's it's memorable flavor. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, and I guess I was too critical with my initial review. My most recent visits, the broth definitely has some depth, and the generous garnishments of bean sprouts, sawleaf, and lime definitely help bring out the flavor. The meat options are good too - although I would much prefer to have the rare steak slices served raw (so you can dip them into the soup), rather than in the pho when it comes out to you since the slices are usually cooked thoroughly by the time you get to them. It's not the best bowl of pho I've had, and has nothing against Pho 79/101, but for the area you're in - it's a reasonable alternative if you're not willing to or have time to make the 20 minute drive into Little Saigon. Service is always good and so I see myself coming here at least once or twice a week for lunch! read more

I got the small pho with rare steak (pho tai). The bowl was smaller than the small size at most other places, but it seemed like the same amount of meat as other places, so the upshot was less noodles and broth. The broth was tasty and robust. They provided the usual fresh garnishes of bean sprouts, lime, basil, and jalapeños. The service was friendly and quick. I will call the ambiance Orange County "neutral"... it is modern and clean with some tasteful decoration pieces on the walls that I assume are traditional (I have no Asian heritage of any kind). Pho, pho, good old vegetarian Pho. Which, tbh, wasn't actually that good from here. As you know, we're big fans of Pho. It's basically rice noodles in a spicy broth with leaks, broccoli, lemon, basil, and other goodies! What could go wrong?! Well we've had vegetarian Pho from a variety of different restaurants. And I've to be honest - this one was really sub-par. The worse part was that the rice noodles were undercooked. I get they're supposed to only be par-boiled, but these noodles had a dry texture. Same thing with the veggies - almost completely raw. It was evident everything was prepared haphazardly in a hurry. I did enjoy the broth, however. It was well done and, per their website, was completely vegetarian. Their were the usual sauce packets along with Sriracha, which mixed well with the broth to give the familiar Pho smell and taste that we've come to love so much. Also kudos on delivering it while still steaming hot! So overall satisfying but just wish they spend more time and care during the preparation. read more

I've been here once and won't be returning. I ordered two small bowls of rare beef, tendon and tripe. I was feeling under the weather and pho always helps. The lady who took my order wasn't very friendly. I felt like I was inconveniencing her by placing a take out order (no one was in the restaurant at the time or placing a take out order). The order I got was wrong! I only got the rare beef even though I repeated the order when I placed it. It's frustrating when you get home and realize your order is wrong. I placed an order through door dash and when the person picking up my order arrived the lady working behind the counter was extremely rude to him because the order was placed on DoorDash instead of ordering over the phone. Maybe if you don't want customers to order through other platforms don't give the option to place online orders through door dash. You pay to have door dash as an option for your restaurant and if you don't want people to order on there maybe cancel your DoorDash partnership and stick to phone orders only. Just moved to OC and was looking for a new pho place. This is the first place I tried and I'm glad I did. I ordered the vegetarian pho with chicken broth and fried tofu through delivery and it came really quick. Everything was super fresh and the broth had so much flavor. There was also a healthy serving of veggies which was perfect and exactly what I wanted. The only drawback is that the veggies weren't steamed as much as I'm used too, the broccoli especially was a bit crunchy. But it definitely wasn't enough to make me not order it again. Excellent food and ambiance. Service was also pretty good. It's a strip mall place, and that some times makes it difficult to make it feel authentic. I loved the musical instruments above the kitchen window. Only complaint is it echo's as there's not much to dampen the sound. When they fire up the blender, it's pretty loud. There are so many Pho places popping up everywhere, my friend who is Vietnamese is very particular about this Pho. This time though he went with a fish offering. I'm pretty simple and with went with Chicken Fried Rice. Both were very good. The rice came out first and was HOT! I mean temperature wise, almost a burn your mouth type hot, which was great! Most of the time I get rice it's warm, but I like it hot when it hits the table as rice gets cold fast. Because it was hot, mine was delivered several minutes before the fish which I get takes longer to cook. They packed the ingredients in bowls and wrapped the raw meat in a baggy. The broth was in a separate plastic container. I really wish they would put the hot broth in a non plastic container. It's expected that the rice noodle was stuck together since it was cold. I didn't mind that. They packed hot sauce, hoisen sauce and sprouts, basil, and lime wedges in a different baggy. We assembled the pieces at home. The broth was tasty and all the meat pieces were good! We did get 4 egg rolls which were piping hot and pretty flavorful. It was like a 3 out of 10. I did take my soup to go. They gave me broth in one separate styrofoam cup and the chicken & noodles in a different bowl. I asked for extra chicken, but to put on the side. I've almost always preferred going to mom and pop phở restaurants since I was a kid. They seem to put more thought and care into each steaming bowl of noodle soup that comes out. I haven't had a good bowl of phở since ever I moved out of my parents' but this place takes it. Every ingredient they put into this was very fresh. I'm never picky when it comes to pho. All I care about is a hot broth full of flavor, lots of noodles, and a good portion of beef. My Pho seems to have that down! | MENU & PARKING | My boyfriend and I came here 30 minutes before closing time and they still sat us. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking so it didn't take long for us to find a spot and get seated. Their menu is located inside an incredibly thick holder that has laminated pages. I love that it's very easy to read and the prices aren't as obscure. I also love that they have a small and large portion of a bowl of pho. | THE FOOD | Pho rare steak, flank, and brisket ($7.75, small): I loved my bowl of pho. It came out so quickly, in perhaps five minutes or less! Because my boyfriend wasn't eating pho I got to take advantage of an entire plate of bean sprouts, limes, and mint! The broth is incredibly hot which I love and it is also flavorful. The meats come out rare, which cook over time (faster if you put noodles on top), but I really didn't like how fatty the brisket pieces were. Charbroiled porkchop with rice, egg roll, and veggies ($8.45): PASS. The porkchop was cooked far too long and was very dry. They offered a vinegar dipping sauce which served to be its saving grace, but the lackluster taste left me feeling regretful. Comes with a small cup of rice and a way over cooked egg roll. Overall, this dish was not the best on the menu so I would not recommend it. | FINAL THOUGHTS | Overall, I did enjoy my meal here with the exception of the pork chop that my boyfriend ordered. I would strongly recommend sticking to the pho or trying out the new phorrito (pho burrito) on the menu. One thing I noticed is that they have signs plastered all over that day "Cash preferred, cards hurt small businesses." This was a little awkward for me as I do not usually carry cash with me, and I'm not sure if they charged me extra for paying by card (if they did, they certainly didn't tell me.)
