While the pandan flavor wasn't as strong as I had hoped, the thick toast was paired well with the vanilla ice cream. We also shared the Ferrero crepe. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but my friend, who has a serious sweet tooth, absolutely loved it. The crepe was loaded with Ferrero chocolates, bananas, and strawberries, and we chose Thai tea and coconut ice cream. Both ice creams were delicious and goes well together in one bite! Since it was a chilly evening, I also ordered a ginger tea, which was the perfect drink for the weather. First time trying out this Naya Dessert location in the city, I've been to a couple of the other locations in Hayes valley and others. However we were looking for late night eats and this location was such a pleasant surprise! Food 5/5: we ordered the grilled pork over rice, pad see ew noodles, and the golden toast. We got the Naya Toasted and the Mango Stick Rice Crepes. The Kaya Toasted was a hollow, toasted bread with smaller bits of toasted and sweetened bread inside. One of the few spots in San Francisco for late night dessert. I've been here a few times, and traffic has picked up since they first opened. Interior is a little tight, with small tables seating mostly a max of four people (with an elbows touching setup). Service is dependent on the crowd. It can get pretty slow when the place is entirely full (paper waitlist is hanging by the door). Staff is friendly and pleasant. This most recent visit they messed up on the ice cream flavor when making one of the dishes, and brought us more scoops of (the correct) ice cream for us without us saying a word. This time, I went with friends, and got their melon snow bingsu and the grass jelly with brown sugar syrup. Bingsu here is always great, and I especially love the toppings you can toss ontop. It's both fun, and you get to (somewhat) control how sickly sweet you love your dessert by just not pouring that much syrup on. The grass jelly with brown sugar syrup is a lot of ice and milk which I probably should have expected and wasn't really my favorite. I'm a huge fan of their bingsu!
