They "didn't want to open a bag of lettuce". When literally one third of your menu is salad, this is a problem. Honestly with the attitude of the employees in this place, I'll be shocked if they're still open for business a year from now. Maybe it's Management's fault. Not a very nice place. The staff is pretty unhelpful, they are very strict with sticking to the menu so youll eat what they want not what you want. They have a long line and the customers are very rude. I was cursed out just for standing in an available place in line. Id recommend just packing a lunch. read more

First time here. Ambience was cool looking. Very clean. Staff smiling. Manager came to our table was very courtesy and friendly. Tried Mediterranean pizza. Was outstanding, crust was delicious. Been here a couple of times and it's always good food and service. I would personally recommend the turkey avocado sandwich! It's my favorite but I have also tried multiple salads which are huge portion and really good! Also the soups are awesome tomato basil and the potato one are my favorite! read more

I have been coming here more and more frequently. Last night I branched out from my usual black and blue salad and sometime soup depending on my mood. Last night I had the shrimp and avocado salad and the spinach and feta soup. Both were good choices. The salad was delicious and may be my new favorite Newks salad. The soup was good. While it was piping hot, even after waiting to eat it after finishing my salad, creamy and tasty, I do think I will order it again. I have nothing negative to say about the soup, I just happen to like their other soups better. Keep up the good work Newks. You have a forever customer in me. read more

Every time I.cine too this place, I always receive a top notch experience. The food is delicious and being a pescatarian, there are many choices of food combinations that I can choose. The Cobb salad was bland and served all mixed up in a giant Bowl. I could not distinguish any flavors. The pizza tasted okay and was flavorful, but the crust was soggy on the bottom because I guess they didn't cook it long enough. It appeared to be slapped together because the toppings were plentiful but I'm even . Overall it was just okay, but basically unimpressive. This location is a mainstay in my weekly lunch rotation. The service is quite consistent and friendly. The salads are large, fresh and really good. MUCH better quality than the Panera's, Jason's Delis & Corner Bakeries in the area. Just be prepared for a line if you're going for lunch. There is always a crowd, but you can usually find a table (indoors or outdoors) before your food arrives. My one gripe is that takeout portions are smaller than dine-in portions. I tend to order the same salads (Kale Caesar, Shrimp & Avocado, Black & Bleu), so I'm keen to the portion sizes. I get that the takeout containers can't hold as much, but I don't like paying the same amount for what is considerably less than what I'd get dining in. It sounds petty, but it's mildly annoying. Went there for lunch and it was PACKED, but surprisingly the line went by very fast and we were able to get a table within 3 min of standing around...much better than I thought when we first walked in. I got the half/half pairing with the pesto chicken sandwich & a caesar salad- both were delicious and fresh! My friends ordered the chicken tortilla soup, which looked/smelled delicious, so I'll definitely have to try next time! read more

Yum yum yum! The half and half is awesome. Half sandwich and half salad is made to order. They make the bread fresh and you can taste every bit in each bite! I'm glad this opened up here in Atlanta as they were littered all over Memphis. Think Panera but a bit different, and with more dinner like options. My delight here are the unlimited packets of crispy breadstick sticks and the pepper and olive bar. From large salads, to personal pizzas, to sandwiches. So delicious. I always have a good meal here. It's packed during lunch so arrive earlier. I gave it four stars because consistently the chicken in the chicken parmesan is a bit on the drier side. It is still a very good sandwich however. read more

I will not be going back to this place! I ordered the crab and corn chowder and a turkey sandwich. First off, I did not find one hint of crab in the chowder. It was bland and tasteless. Secondly, my sandwich was dripping with mayo to the point that I had to end up throwing the entire disgusting mayo sandwich away. And I do mean mayo sandwich because the thing had very little meat on it. A complete waste of my money. Save yourself from being pissed off and don't go to this place. read more
