Well, we all know how much of a fan I am with Nick's Steakhouse. Just had another PHENOMENAL dinner! I can't stop. Never had anything I didn't like and can't make any of it at home, which is unique. Exceeds expectations every time. So full and had to bring food home. Excellent staff, of course.

What a phenomenal experience! From the moment we walked in - being greeted by Nick the owner, Gabe the bartender, the owners wife, and our waitress - service was exceptional. We arrived early to our reservations to spend time at the beautiful bar and get a flight of bourbon. Their selection is amazing !! They also carry two single barrel picks from Old Forester and Markers Mark. The flights are very reasonable. Sitting at the bar chopping it up with Gabe is what really made the experience. Such an asset to the restaurant. He even made my wife an off the menu cocktail that she absolutely loved! After spending some time at the bar our table was ready. Our waitress was so nice and kind. Attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy but felt special. Food was great, they accommodated all our requests, and never made us feel like we were being rushed. I wish I lived closer because the overall experience we had here was second to none. I still plan on visiting as soon as possible just to come back here!

Finally got to try Nick's and we're so glad we did. Service was lovely and the steaks were superb in our opinion. Will definitely go again.

Second time at Nick's last night was delish! We started with the cheesesteak eggrolls which were so good - we got them last time too. For our dinner, I got the 5oz filet with au poivre and Jake got the ribeye with bearnaise. We shared the asparagus and the garlic mashed potatoes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Drinks and dessert were great, as was the service and environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

32 ounce Tomahawk steak. We split it. Awesome

The best steak I've ever had. 4 of us all left saying the same thing. Awesome. Amazing. Spectacular. The service was solid. 5/5 . The ambiance was very nice. It's an older house converted to a restaurant. The tables are well spaced, the air conditioning excellent, the lighting perfect. I got the sangria to start, calamari - perfect and a little spicy too! We also had a tuna tartar with avocado. Oh my. My wife and I split a tomahawk steak ... 32 ounces. $115. Amazing. Cooked too perfection. And a house salad. The other couple had 2 steaks also. And loved it. A great glass of Malbec with the steak, and then some Hennessey VSOP. The whole meal cost about $150/ person including taxes and tip

Bone In Tomahawk 22 oz. Fantastic!

Sat at the bar with the wife. I have no idea why this place is not 5 stars. Bartenders were both very sweet and attentive. Drinks were great. I got the bone in tomahawk. It was fantastic. Wife got the 5 oz filet. We had brussel sprouts, mushrooms for sides. Burrata and french onion soup for apps. Everything we ate was fantastic. The one downside was no espresso machine for after dinner. But i wont downgrade the restaurant on that alone. A+!

Nick's steakhouse is an excellent addition to the York, ME restaurant scene. I highly recommend sitting at the well-appointed bar & ordering from all available food menus. (Those mini beef wellingtons were delightful...along with some solid cocktails) My highest compliments to both the owner & the chef for executing their vision in such an inspiring way, especially for the area...I truly hope this restaurant ups-the-ante for all surrounding establishments. I will 100% be dining here again!

Young man who brought our main course out was very nice. However, main course was undercooked, and the side portion was very small.

No big deal, I was a party of one, and they were quite busy on the Saturday night that I went. Service is impeccable, really no complaints there. The food came out fast, even though they were quite busy. The food was great as well, though I wasn't a particularly big fan of the wood-fired beets (if you like horseradish on beet, you would like them). Fried oysters were great, I mean really good. Spaghetti with guanciale is absolutely incredible; key lime pie similarly amazing. Overall, I'll be back here. Plan to spend at least $50 per person. What a great location.

Choice for Dinner, skip the Holidays…read more We came here once before and had a really good experience, which is why we decided to book a 2:00 PM reservation to celebrate Mother's Day. We understood it would be a limited holiday brunch menu instead of the regular dinner menu, which was fine. However, by the time we sat down to order, almost all of the options were already sold out. Our entire table basically had to order the exact same thing because there was nothing else left. The space is lovely and it's a nice spot for a regular dinner, but they were definitely not equipped for the holiday rush. Don't go for Mother's Day.

The place itself looks fantastic, with crisp linen tablecloths and warm table lamps that give it a classy, cozy feel as soon as you sit down. Every piece of meat was cooked perfectly, from the first slice to the last, and the variety was incredible. The staff kept checking on us just enough to make sure we had everything we wanted, but never in an annoying or pushy way. You're given cards with "yes" on one side and "no" on the other, so you can control when they offer you more food. With the "yes" side up, the servers bring you a steady stream of delicious meats; flip it to "no" when you need a break. I ate way too much, too fast, simply because everything was so good. We already can't wait to go back. Ogunquit has a lot of great places to eat, but make sure you try this one--At Bonissoni Brazilian Steakhouse should absolutely be on your list. Our waitress Maddie was excellent - attentive, informative and all together lovely. She got us everything we asked for and was kind enough to answer my questions about safety and Covid. Quite frankly, I was shocked that NO ONE who worked at Dockside wore a mask. Most patrons did as they entered and took them off once seated at their table. We requested and were seated on the screened porch. The owners of Dockside must know how vicious the Delta Varient is. Why would they not want to protect their Staff? Maddie was double vaccinated and felt safe as much of the restaurant was near the large screened porch. We did VERY much like the food and drinks we ordered....I just wish precautions were taken re: Covid.

I chose this location because they promised delicious food, but unfortunately, the catering fell completely short. The sirloin roast and the broccoli were both barely edible and essentially went to waste. It is incredibly upsetting because I trusted them with a very important milestone, and the meal did not deliver. It easily would have been a 5-star experience if the kitchen had met the standards they promised. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve their catering quality.
