    Mushroom small plate

Ready for this? Hotel restaurant.... But hear me out... Done REALLY well. The food is MUCH better than you'd expect. This is not your standard pub food, elevated for sure with a few of the dishes, dare I say...refined. Drink selection is as expected but well executed... they juice their own citrus and don't used the concentrated or purchased stuff... that's a plus, and a sign the bar is headed in the right direction. Ambiance is as you'd expect from a long standing corner establishment. Order yourself the mushrooms. Order yourself the butterscotch pudding... thank me immediately!

We were looking for a quiet place to relax and have a glass of wine, and this was perfect. This truly feels like a little French bistro. We sat at an outside table on the sidewalk and watched the city pass by. The food was great, obviously inspired by French cuisine. Very simple and fresh. The server was attentive and friend .

Came here for brunch before the Vikings game. The service was wonderful. They were very busy but the bartenders still made time to be personable. We had Brian serve us at the bar for majority of the time and he was great! Highly recommend this place!

The Eggs en Cocette was an incredible dish One of the best breakfast dishes I've had. The breakfast skillet was good but not memorable. Damien, our server, did an amazing job despite being severely understaffed.

Skip the olive oil cake and vanilla sorbet. Porzana was an absolutely AMAZING experience! The food was delicious and the service was incredible as well. More than that, the vibes were great! This spot is truly the whole package. The restaurant was much bigger than I expected which was also nice. It was too hot when we were there, but they also had a cute patio on the side of the restaurant. We got a TON of dishes as we were treating ourselves and here is what we thought of each... Empanadas - Perfect size, crispy dough, and FULL of meat. The sauce, mango salsa, and the aoli on the side were the perfect editions. Sweet Corn Agnolotto - Literally NO notes. There is a reason why this is all over theirs and visitors social media. It is fresh and bright, yet has an amazing depth of flavor. Asparagus - These were perfectly charred and bright. They didn't feel heavy at all which was awesome. Entrana - The main event and so dang good. Perfectly cooked, tender, and the flavor was excellent. We love steak and honestly do a pretty good job cooking it ourselves, but this is somewhere we would go for a good steak. This was my top meat choice. The chimichurri and Lla Jua sauces were a perfect pairing with this as well. Ribeye - This ribeye was also delicious! It was tender and juicy, and had good flavor. My fiance preffered this to the Entrana though we both loved them both. Papas Aplastadas - These were fried potatoes with bacon, cheese, and beurre blanc. They were good, but not great. Honestly, I think we just loved the other dishes so much that these didn't even get a fair chance. Though these had the most ingredients, I would say they were the least flavorful to me. Olive Oil Cake - Moist, but still dense and didn't really impress us much. I wished instead of the marscapone there was something lighter on top as it all felt heavy after a big meal. Sorbet - skip the vanilla. The honey lavendar was an absolute show stopper. Cocktails were also top teir and they had mocktail options as well!

The chef really knows how to work with meat. For appetizers, I had the mussels, which came with such a generous, incredible sauce that I ended up taking the leftover home to toss with pasta the next day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable night out.

Definitely a good ratio of meatball to sauce. The steak was hitting the spot, I believe it only comes medium rare. Always a good portion of potatoes. The chocolate brownie was crispy and crunchy. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a historic building that was once a luxury hotel and is now a co-op. One thing we didn't know beforehand is that P.S. Steak has two distinct dining spaces. We were seated in the lounge, which is bright, stylish, and elegant, while the steakhouse dining room has a darker, more intimate, classic steakhouse atmosphere. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was professional and knowledgeable, making the experience feel polished and welcoming. For drinks, we ordered the Southern Hemisphere (a refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail with the perfect balance of tart and sweet) and the 1929 Sour. From the Restaurant Week menu, we started with the dry-aged meatballs, which were surprisingly light and flavorful. For the entrée, we had the smoked salmon risotto. Unfortunately, it wasn't our favorite--it felt a bit bland and lacked the depth of flavor we were expecting. We also ordered a few items from the regular menu, and these ended up being the highlights of the meal. The lobster roll was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The asparagus was another standout, cooked to the perfect balance of tender and crisp with a beautiful char that added great flavor. To finish, we shared the hot fudge sundae, which was rich, indulgent, and the perfect ending to dinner. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience, especially the impeccable service, elegant ambiance, and standout dishes from the regular menu. We'd definitely come back for the luxe atmosphere--and next time, we'll be ordering one of their steaks!

Everyone was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. PRICE/VALUE: Prices are definitely high, but that is expected for a high-end steakhouse. Overall, the quality of the food and service made it a great five-star experience! I will definitely be back when I'm back in MN. What a memorable lunch!

Our only complaint is that the tables are fairly close together and a 2 person table is so small! It kept us from ordering more food, because there would be no place for it to go! Our server was nice. She originally forgot our drinks but admitted it and got them right away. We appreciated the honesty. Our water glasses were always full, we were given wet naps after our delicious wings and plates were taken promptly! Food: We each started with a drink. From the hostess who graciously held the doors open for us in the 95° heat to our incredible server, David, everything was outstanding. We started with cocktails. I had what may have been the best bourbon Old Fashioned I've ever tasted, and my wife enjoyed a wonderfully refreshing cocktail (whose name I, unfortunately, can't remember). We began our meal with the roasted Brussels sprouts. Normally, I'm not much of a Brussels sprouts fan, but I happily cleaned the plate. My wife and I shared the 12-ounce filet mignon, cooked medium rare, and it was absolute perfection. Chef's kiss. David recommended a bottle of wine to pair with our steak. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was worth every penny. But wait... there's more. As incredible as that wine was with the filet, it somehow paired even better (yes, I know that sounds impossible) with the slice of heaven they call chocolate cake. I'm sure it has a much fancier name on the menu, but "slice of heaven" seems more accurate. If you've read my other reviews, you know I have a tendency toward hyperbole. If there were ever a time to lean into it, this is it. THIS MEAL WAS FANTASTIC. THE AMBIANCE WAS PERFECT. THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL. AND THE COMPANY WAS DIVINE. The Caesar salad has officially been added to my regular rotation. The jammy egg was cooked perfectly with a rich, yolky center that was still easy to slice. The Parmesan crisps were thoughtfully sized, adding great texture without being so large they scraped the roof of your mouth. The salad was evenly dressed, making every bite flavorful.
