Never been here but because It's Inman park restaurant week, my friends and i decided to check it out. I sorta regret my decision. there's one server. FOR RESTAURANT WEEK!!! The. Absurdity! The wait time for food is ridiculous. More than 20 minutes passed before we even received appetizers. I ordered the uptown shrimp, Caesar salad and brownie. I will say the food was good. (The chicken for the salad was tasteless by itself but with the salad it was fine). It was a table of 5 and One of my friends order was wrong: Appetizer AND entree. But they should definitely put a now hiring sign in the window. The parking is adjacent to Wisteria. It's comp valet. Also. If you hate smoke avoid this place. Didn't know you could smoke inside. But I guess that doesn't matter because the people who are smoking outside stand RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR which is WIDE OPEN! I've been coughing since I walked in.

Food here is awesome, especially the chicken fingers and wings. They pour a good Guinness too. Glad I found this place.

Our servers, Morgan and Todd, were absolutely excellent. We had a little snafu at the beginning of the meal due to an issue with my plate, but Morgan quickly and professionally resolved it. She had a solution ready before I even had to say a word which, to me, is the epitome of great customer service. We sampled a mix of old favorites and new bites: -Salmon Chips: A classic for a reason! It's been a staple here for years and is still just as good as I remembered. -Sweet Chili Shrimp & Chicken Empanadas: Both were delicious and highly recommended. -Mussels: These were just okay for me, but the focaccia bread served alongside them was incredibly tasty. -The Strawberry Letter Cocktail: A absolute must-try! It is delicious, but fair warning--you will definitely feel it after just one, lol! To top it all off, they brought out a birthday card signed by both of my servers and their coworkers, along with a birthday cupcake! It was such a thoughtful, personalized touch that made the dining experience feel even more special. Two Urban Licks remains a wonderful, staple on the Atlanta Beltline.

We then moved into the dining area where we had four tables next to each other. The lounge area has festive decor and our server did a great job taking care of my group before we arrived. The dining area has a more subdued decor. There were other groups celebrating and we still felt like we had a room to ourselves. Once seated, service was also excellent. They had several staff dedicated to us. Water, apps and wine service was quick and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. I had many compliments on both the food and wine. For starters we had Tuna Tartare Chips and greens (salad). Both were excellent. For mains we had the salmon and roast chicken. Brussels sprouts and whipped potatoes for sides. Finally cheesecake bites for dessert. We served their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir with the meal. Everything went perfectly. Just the right amount of food and wine. (7 bottles for our 20). Their contract is written in a way that makes you think you might be rushed. But that was not the case in practice. We had plenty of time to meet and greet at the lounge before being seated. And plenty of time at the tables. We felt we received an excellent value for our dollar. Highly recommended for a special event. I worked with Kate Chandler who is their Event Manager to plan the event. This was the first event like this that I have planned. She made it easy and offered advice when I asked. The restaurant itself is in Ponce City Market on the first floor. Plenty of parking and valet is available.

Our waiter recommended two cocktails for us and both were so tasty. Overall, great vibe, good food, and amazing service.

I'd been seeing Staplehouse all over Instagram and hearing about their Michelin Guide recognition,…read moreso I was excited to finally give it a try. As somebody who genuinely loves food and especially Italian sandwiches, I ordered the Italian Grinder for pickup. Now, a little context. I'm a newer parent, and that day I was dressed casually sweats, hoodie, hat, just running around handling life. Nothing crazy. I only mention that because when I went in to pick up my order, the interaction left me uncomfortable. Two employees greeted me, and after I confirmed my name for the pickup, one of them held onto the bag tightly and asked me again if I was sure the order was mine, joking about making sure I wasn't stealing it. I laughed it off in the moment, but honestly, I couldn't fully tell if it was meant as a joke or not. And to be fair, I don't want to assume malicious intent or act like I know what was in that person's heart. But I also have to be honest about how it felt. I genuinely don't believe that same joke or comment would've been made to somebody who looked less "threatening," older, or dressed differently than me. Whether intentional or unconscious, moments like that stick with people. I'm a father, a dancer, a creative, and somebody who tries to greet people warmly and respectfully wherever I go. So walking out of there, I just felt a little judged instead of welcomed. The sandwich itself? Solid. Definitely good food. I'd give the grinder a 4 out of 5. But food is also tied to experience, and unfortunately the interaction took away from it for me. I don't think I'll be going back, but I do hope this feedback is received with understanding and not defensiveness, because perception and hospitality matter too.

New Realm is more of sit-down restaurant than a typical brewery. We sat at the bar and I order a flight. Their flights have 6 beers, woohoo. Most of the beers were just ok but 2 stood out for me; Hazy like a Fox (I am sure you can guess the style) and the Oaxaca Choca Mexican Imperial Stout. There was a lot going on with the stout. The bartender fellow was pretty terrible and pretty much ruined my and my friend that was with me's entire experience. We waited in line outside to order, after our turn came the little point of Sale terminal touchscreen thing(tilts and pivots) was facing us showing another customer has just finished paying and it had a green checkmark The I think he was a bartender had wandered off, didn't acknowledge us at all, and was talking to another bar tender for upwards of 5 mins, so I assumed because it was a touchscreen and was facing us it was self-service. So I hit the x on the screen to close out of the other customers transaction, and the bartender rushed over and started berating me with "what are you doing you don't touch that" and even had the audacity to ask "you didn't put anything in did you?!??" At which point we explained and placed our order with drinks took the flag with the table number to go sit down After which, the bartender came to our table and was somehow even more of an asshole, and told us that "you're supposed to wait for these diet cokes I can't bring them to you" We were both quite angry. This person is awful. I don't know why anyone would behave this way with customers. It's not acceptable and reflects quite poorly on the establishment that this person works there. We wish everyone the best but will not be returning in the future. I don't recommend anyone eat here.
