I've been wanting to try this place for a long time now and was definitely let down. Not only did I have a bad experience but the food was a complete let down. We got there with a little over an hour before they closed but they were extremely unwelcoming and pushy. We were patiently waiting for a table to be cleared but the waiter told us to look at the menu and we had no problem with that. But then he came back and asked us to order ASAP along with many items being unavailable. Normally I would not have a problem if I was there close to closing and they were kind enough to squeeze me in, but this was not the case as other people sitting down have not even ordered yet or gotten their food. I was wondering what difference would it have made if they just waited because they sat us immediately after we ordered... We tried to let it go but it just got worse from there. We ordered one chicken yakisoba which was fine. I didn't really understand some of the toppings on there as it threw the flavor off. I was excited for the ramen only to be disgusted. I've definitely had my fair share of ramen ranging from amazing to "you get what you pay for" and this...this was worse than a top ramen. The Tonkotsu flavor was not even there, or any flavor. It was like they took someone's leftover broth from another table, poured in lukewarm water to fill the bowl and dumped in stale/uncooked ramen noodles that had been sitting out for days. When we asked for it spicy, they pretty much charge for togarashi mixed with a squirt of a paste for you to mix in yourself. I noticed the table next to me didn't finish their ramen either and didn't want to pack it to take home. Along with the terrible food, I was still confused why we were being rushed as other tables that have been there before us were casually chatting, waiting for their food, ordering, or hanging out. The waitress packed up and took everything off the table as we were trying to pack our leftover. I couldn't even pack the yakisoba without my chopsticks and had to shove everything in the box making a mess all over the table. Again, the table next to me was not rushed out. There was also a group sitting outside asking if they could have extra bowls to share their meals but the workers told them they could only have 2 not 3. Weird. Our must-order favorite dishes include Hanetsuki gyoza, karaage, vegetarian ramen, Tonkotsu ramen, and a fairly new dish called Saikyo Miso Nikomi Udon. Takeout service is great and online ordering is easy and reliable. If you plan to dine-in, try to avoid busy times since they have a limited seating in their cozy, but welcoming dining room. I wasn't really sure what to expect from a Japanese and Thai restaurant, but this place definitely exceeded my expectations! I came here on a Saturday for lunch. The inside is small, but it wasn't crowded. There are tables both inside and outside. Service was attentive and quick! The menu offers small bites, ramen, yakisoba, and Thai noodle dishes. There is also a drink menu with a wide selection of beer and sake. I ordered the mushroom fries and regular vegetarian ramen. The mushroom fries were the highlight of my meal. They were perfectly crisp and I especially loved them with the sweet plum sauce. I think that even a meat lover would enjoy these! The vegetarian ramen included fried tofu, which was surprisingly crispy on the outside. It provided a nice textural contrast. I opted for the regular soup, not the creamy soup. It was a little salty, but it was flavorful. The bok choy, bamboo shoots, and onion provided a freshness. Overall, I had a great experience! I visited this lousy restaurant today with my friend's family. We were very excited about having dinner there. We had just taken our seats when a woman--an employee who identified herself as the manager--approached us and assigned us a table located near the restroom. We moved to a different table and sat down, but she returned and said, "You cannot sit here; this table is reserved." We didn't take offense at this and moved to yet another table, but she treated us as if we were complete strangers. When we asked for menus, she thrust them into our hands in a fit of anger. To make matters worse, she handed just a single menu to a group of five people. She completely ruined our mood, so we decided to leave. I believe it is common knowledge that people dine out at restaurants specifically to enjoy good food and receive good service. I know that the food here is good, but one of the female employees there subjected us to humiliation. I have been living in this neighborhood since 2022, and I never expected to find a restaurant right here in our own locality where patrons are subjected to such insulting and racially biased treatment. She left us feeling deeply disappointed. She claimed to be the manager; I simply cannot fathom how she manages to run this restaurant with such a negative attitude. read more

Best thai food I have had so far in San Francisco. Their pad thai was delicious: gooey, chewy noodles. We also had Khao Soi Ga that was SO GOOD and unlike anything I've had before. It was the perfect amount of spicy and had crunchy noodles sprinkled on top. The yakisoba was good as well. Although, I have had a lot in my life so I have high standards for this dish. Japanese and Thai style dishes. Stir fry udon + green curry noodle soup + squash blossom tempura. So good! I found the udon to be exceptional. Flavor explosion from basil, galangal, peppers, sugar. And loves the chewiness of the udon. Fragrant wok fire too! It was a touch too spicy for me so next time I'll see if they'll adjust. If you're sensitive to spice don't eat the round peppercorns! Inside is cozy. It's tight inside. Lots of takeout orders when we were there. Looks like a neighborhood favorite. Worth the drive to Bernal for us. Easy street parking on a rainy Friday night. Perhaps we are missing some detail about this place. We always order food to go and pick it up. The food is good. However there is no 'to go' menu and when you try and order from the regular menu most of the items are not available for pick up. Ha - and they get so angry when you try. When noodles is said 3 times in a sentence it's gotta be fuego and this place did not dissapoint. The establishment serves a Japanese/South E. Asian Noodle establishment with my personal favorite being the khao swei gai. I used to trek all the way to the east bay for this dish but no longer needed as this one in Bernal heights is just as authentic. The fried noodles on top makes it nastalgic and the quality of the fried noodles memorable. This is a local neighborhood spot. Came here on a Friday evening and only had to wait about 5 minutes to get seated! The place itself is very small and intimate-- there are only 5 tables. Flew into SF to visit my friend for the weekend on a cold rainy day. She immediately took me to Nute's. At first I was skeptical to try Thai food in SF because I wasn't sure how authentic it would be. It was delicious! We ordered Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and Khao Soi Ga. The drunken noodles were perfectly stir fried in the oyster sauce and soy sauce mixture. That bit of charr in the noods is a good indication that everything was cooked well. The gai lan veggies were bright and crisp! Everyone else got the Khao Soi lol. It's the most popular item because the broth is rich with spicy, sweet, tangy goodness. I tried the okra rice which was recommended - personally, I'd like it to have less burnt flavor and more sauciness or okra qualities. These tasted more like okra chips. My fiancé and I have high standards for Thai food since we have something of the best around with Thai Town. Just moved to the neighborhood and Nute's was high on the recommendations from friends. It's an unassuming little place with no visible signage for its name. But you walk in, our your name on the list and then wait to be called for a table. On a Friday night, our wait was not long at all -- maybe 15 minutes -- great for a walk in! We ordered the salad appetizer and the corn. Both were excellent. We wanted the cucumber salad but it was out that evening. For dinner we ordered the Khao Soi and the Tonkatsu Ramen, spicy. The Khao Soi had a delightful heat and was very good. The ramen was less spicy but still had excellent flavor with the broth. The portion of ramen was so big I had to ask for a to-go container! My first time here I went on a Tuesday night around 8:30 pm . It was easy to find a parking . It's a cute tiny restaurant with a good customer service . I ordered UDON TALAY PAD CHA. It was my first time trying this dish also it was very spicy. It supposed to have see food in it . But it only had 3 shrimps, 2 scallops and 2 small pieces of calamari .
