My family & I found this restaurant inside the airport booklet. We were exited to try their deep pizza because we tried a 2 other deep dish pizza places in the past. We ordered in person by their carryout area & was greeted by young lady answering the phones & handling orders as well. We ordered deep dish pizza w/ pepperoni, sausage & extra cheese & garlic bread which was $40 (feeds a family of 3/4). The food was filling but the pizza was a little salty & if we order again we would get another topping instead of extra cheese because a lot of cheese was already on the pizza. Also their Chicago deep dish do not have all the chunky sauce on top like other restaurant's. My family & I would like to try their other food as well in the future. read more

I am nearly 58 years old and have never left a negative restaurant review. I have dined in countless establishments across the U.S. and around the world, and have often taken time to commend excellent staff to management. I have also visited this particular location many times over the past nine years. However, my wife and I experienced the most disappointing restaurant visit we've ever had. We arrived at 8:00 p.m., well before the 9:00 p.m. closing time. We placed our drink, appetizer, and to-go orders promptly to be considerate of the staff's end-of-shift routine. Despite this, the bartender/server made it clear throughout our meal that her primary concern was leaving as soon as possible, rather than providing quality service. She openly stated that she never wants to stay late and always wants to get home. While I fully understand that everyone has long days, this approach made my wife and me feel rushed, unwelcome & uncomfortable. As someone who spent over 30 years responding to emergency calls in the private sector, and who served 21 years in the military, I have always prioritized professionalism and the needs of others, even during difficult shifts. For a nearly $120 bill, I expect a level of service that reflects respect for customers and pride in one's work. It is disappointing that management would leave such a staff member responsible for both serving and bartending on a closing shift, especially one who was clearly disengaged & prioritizes getting home over business & customer relationships. I've seen positive aspects of this employee, but completely blame management for her unprofessional habits & assigning her to a closing shift. I hope this feedback encourages leadership to better support their staff and maintain the level of service that has made this location a favorite in the past. read more

I can't believe I haven't been here before! My mom, husband, and I came for lunch yesterday, sat at bar on the patio side. Fabulous service from Cari the bartender with great hair and glasses!! My mom and I split the pizza called Numero One-O! Thy have funny names for a lot of the dishes! My husband had a variation of one of the sandwiches and it was no trouble to make! We just moved here and tried Oregano's pizza in Surprise. It is our new favorite pizza! We love a thin crust pizza and this is thin and delicious. The crust is super thin, but holds up well to the generous toppings. We ordered a 14" and took half home. My half had sausage & mushroom, their sausage is great. Hubby had canadian bacon & pineapple....this is the first time he ate leftover pizza. If anything it was better reheated (on a pizza steel). No pictures because it's gone! If you like thin crust pizza, give it a try. We're looking forward to trying their salads that sound amazing! read more

The last time we had dinner at this restaurant was over three years ago - the service was so bad we said we'd never return. Well, an advertised special convinced us to give it another try and are we glad we did. How do you say, "night and day?" Horrible "server" JULIA She simply can't understand simple server-conduct and common human decency. Almost tipped her despite her lack of customer service. Then she commented on my appearance insinuating I have gotten plastic surgery (in front of my small children and loud enough for others to hear)... haha literally who does that?! Overall I have to say that this place is mediocre. The service was ok but we did have to ask for the bill. The food was just ok. The Stuffed Italian sandwich did have lots of meat but was rather dry. Every month a group of ladies from a local church get together for lunch. Last month we decided to go to Oregano's and had a delicious meal and fun time. So much so, that we returned the next month and our same waitress, Cari, made our afternoon delightful. She was attentive, helpful and extremely pleasant with such a large crowd. It's not the best Italian by any means, but I love the feel of the place, the huge outdoor patio, and the cozy bar. They have a few favorites that I'm obsessed with and that's what keeps me coming back. The Diablo pasta with chicken is killer!! The pizza is not spectacular but the big beef sandwich sure is! And the cheese bread....ohhh drool. They also have an online waitlist on Yelp which is a HUGE plus because the line here can get pretty ridiculous at dinner time. Now go get some pasta! read more

I have visited Oregano's at Bell Road neat Cotton three times. I ordered the antipasto salad and meatball sandwich to split with my guest. The salad was pitiful. How a salad that should be loaded with flavor turns out bland is beyond me. The lattuce was not crisp, the roasted red peppers were slimey and the meats were flavorless and extremely fatty. The meatball sub was inedible. It tasted like the beef it was made from was old. Other than that old taste there was no flavor. This place is called Oregano 's but there seems to be very little seasoning at all in their food. Additionally: the place is not clean. The wall behind my guests seat was glass windows. It appears that every kid who sat on that side of the booth had wiped their greasy fingers on the glass and it had never been washed. I will not go back nor will I advise anyone togo there read more

It is tough to know if my review is fair or not,but I will go based off the experience I had. I came with my wife and child during holiday break for a quick bite for lunch. We were greater immediately and t9pd it would be a 5-10 minute wait. The place wasn't full, but that is fine I don't mind waiting for service. It took about 30 minutes for us to be sat. So they missed the mark a bit for 5-10 min. We overheard a manager telling the couple that arrived before us that was also just getting sat that only 2 servers showed for work that morning. No one said anything to us, just we got sat, we waited about 3-4 minutes later she stopped by and took our drink order, she dropped off our drinks and took our order and didn't show back up until after our food was delivered I asked for drink refills for the table as all our drinks were empty and she gave me a look of disgust and walked away. My wife asked me if I said something weird because her nasty look, nope, just asked for more water. The good was good, I had a chicken parm meal. The chicken was juicy and I like the extra basil they add in the cheese my only issue was the pasta was so overcooked that it was essentially pasta looking mashed potatoes. My wife loved her salad and son loved his spaghetti. Overall I will be back, but the experience didn't leave me a great memory. read more

Service was quick but chilly. We had to ask for everything--refills, napkins, etc. again, she checked in the table often so there's that. Out of the 5 of us, kitchen got 4 of our orders wrong. We just made-do with what they brought us bc hate sending food back. Server didn't apologize for error, no manager came by or offer to remedy. Food was just ok, thus 3 stars. Not on the menu anymore and I'm am so hurt. Please bring it back. The atmosphere is cool. Always busy. The salads are good and you get a lot! Service is always great. Never an issue for the times we have gone here to eat. And of course the pazookies are awesome. How can you go wrong with ice cream on top of a giant hot cookie?! A good bartender will wow you with a perfectly shaken Pain reliever - beyond happiness. Bellini is also a solid choice and happily enjoyed. If you enjoy calamari, they have calamari (steak) strips, which are amazing. I highly recommend asking for melted chipotle butter on the side for dipping! If you're not sure what to get, start with the guaca-Tony - soooooo good. It's fresh guacamole with an entire garlic cheese super thin crust pizza. Honestly, it's been my dinner many nights when I really wanted to stop by for a cocktail and a snack. I applaud the recent addition of a happy hour, but am disappointed that it doesn't start at 2 or 3 pm, instead of the current 4pm start time. As a retired person, we like to avoid the crowds and traffic Often, we choose a different restaurant with an earlier happy hour, instead of going to Oregano's, which we would prefer. Given the numerous retirement areas around the restaurant, it seems like you'd get way more business if you moved the happy hour start time to a more desirable time for retired folks like us! read more

Oregano's has locations sprinkled all across the Valley, but this happens to be the one closest to home. So far, we have visited twice in the past six months or so. Both times, I have been very much impressed with the food and the experience. During our more recent visit, we joined the waitlist on the way over via the Yelp app, and only had to wait about 10 minutes altogether. Entree wise, I have tried the Alfredo the Dark and the chicken parmigiana. Though I enjoyed both, I would have to say I preferred the Alfredo the Dark because it was so unique and an unusual combination of flavors. For appetizers, we have tried the cheese curds and the garlic bread and we agreed that the appetizers do not miss the mark. I particularly enjoyed the dipping sauces that were paired with the cheese curds. The ambiance of Oregano's is fun as well--it's like a more whimsical Buca di Beppo. I enjoy Oregano's very much and am certain we will be returning soon. read more
