    Chicken Tinga Bowl
    Natalia G.

We got the Chicken Tinga Bowl and I absolutely loved it. The tinga was seasoned very well and the bowl just had so much flavor. I definitely recommend ordering this if you're craving something on the healthier side. We also added a side of guac which was definitely a must!! 10/10

Grilled Kanpachi with grilled asparagus and Sesame Green Beans

We had dinner here tonight. We have been here before many years ago. They are located in the Pruneyard shopping center. There is plenty of parking available around The Pruneyard shopping center. I had made a reservation for us on OpenTable. When we arrived, we checked in at the front desk. We were taken to a small table for two. I asked if we could sit in a booth instead, since there was an empty one across from us. She said that she couldn't change our table because there were over 100 reservations tonight, and that table was already reserved. She said we should have requested a booth when we made the reservation. She was not very friendly about it either. So things did not start off great. We sat at the small table and checked out the menus that were given to us. The tables to the left and right of us were so close that you could hear every conversation. I really did not like that. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. It was only half full. Not sure why we were all smashed together like that. Our waiter, Adrian, came to take our order. We happened to be there during happy hour, so we decided to order an appetizer and two drinks. We ordered the guaca-poke, a guava-Rita, and a Mai Tai. Our order came out fast. The guaca-poke was delicious, and the drinks were not bad for $9 each. For dinner, my hubby ordered the Kanpachi fish grilled with asparagus and green beans. I ordered the two taco platter. One taco was with grilled cod, and the other was Baja-style shrimp. It came with black beans, and I chose the salad for my side. The Kanpachi was delicious. My hubby really enjoyed his meal. My tacos were so delicious. The salad was also very good with a very tasty miso dressing. Despite the rude hostess, we had a very good meal. When we were getting ready to leave, I noticed there were still many tables that were empty. Not sure what happened to the 100 reservations the hostess mentioned. Adrian gave us excellent service. The food was very good, and we plan to come back again soon. I'll be sure to request a booth the next time I make a reservation or just try another location.

I'm a regular to Pacific Catch and typically delighted by the service, atmosphere, and the food offerings. The service was spectacular during my visit for an early dinner and I had an awesome outside seat in the perfect Spring Weather. I had an Old Fashioned which was also excellent. Since I had an outstanding Birthday Reward, I tried the Sashimi Bowl, looking forwards to my favorite, Hamachi (Yellowtail) a long time favorite from my childhood. All was going great until I tasted the Yellowtail, which did not have the expected flavor, as though it was a different fish entirely. I confirmed this was the Yellowtail they had on offer, but unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy it. I'll stack this up to wherever they are sourcing it from as opposed to a mistake like giving me mackerel or something else. As I indicated, I frequent this location and have not hit anything off before.

Great service - attentive servers who paid attention to details when taking our order. Unfortunately, the food was not prepared as server had taken my order. Ordered fish tacos with salsa on the side but actual order came with fish on top of the salsa and slaw. Disappointed but didn't comment about that since I didn't notice until I'd already taken a bite of each taco. Wished it had been served on the side as it made the tacos soggy and a little spicier than I would have liked. Fried Baja fish tacos had batter similar to fish and chips batter. Wished it was a lighter batter to make it easier on the stomach. It was hard to eat the corn tortilla on both tacos because the salsa was on the bottom of the fish versus being on top of the fish. Accompanying salad was dressed just right with the vinaigrette I requested. Black beans were nicely seasoned. Ordered a nojito which was not very flavorful. Thought it would be mintier, citrusy mocktail but honestly it just tasted like ginger ale with two quartered limes and sprigs of mint. Not worth the $6 I paid for it. Very disappointing.. Would have been better off saving that money spent to buy a pint of ice cream from a local retailer. Don't think I'll go out of my way to return unless I'm sure that my order will be more aligned to my order and if I'm in the neighborhood..

Miso Black Cod & Original Ahi Poke Bowl
    Alisa B.

Really high quality California-styled seafood! I recommend their Campbell location especially for a nice ambiance. Great lighting interior during a lunch. I would recommend the Black Miso Cod for a light but flavorful meal! Furikake rice with miso green beans were simple. The cod definitely was the star. Cooked perfectly and the glaze was sweet and full of umami. My boyfriend also got the poke bowl and enjoyed it! Very filling and savory raw fish. Not the most authentic poke, but tasty nonetheless. We also shared the seasonal chowder with MANILA CLAMS! This was reallyyyyy good, even for the big price tag. Worth sharing!! PRO TIP: Sign up for their rewards and you can get a free bowl on your birthday! (up to $22.95)

Tried this place for the first time. I ordered the Seabass and asparagus. It was really delicious. The service was good. The place has a nice happy atmosphere and good music. They forgot my salad but I wasn't too hungry so I didn't get too hangry.

Baja Shrimp Ceviche: No no. Pool of lime juice
    Dang L.

Decent food. Great service. Casual seafood dining option. Shrimp ceviche: 1 star. Pool of lime juice, avocado with a few piece of shrimp. Please look at my pics. It consisted of mostly avocado in lime juice. With a few pieces of shrimp. What happened? Also the chips were pretty thick and some of it was not fried well stale. Worst ceviche I ever had as it had no texture. I liked the acidic taste though. But needs some tomatoes and cucumber for texture. Lobster roll: 3.5 stars. Decent amount of lobster. The coleslaw was blah, dump the whole thing. Don't know why they serve it. The fries were delicious, with spicy seasoning. Grilled kenpachi with chimichurri accompanied by asparagus and kimchi fried rice: 4.5 stars. Everything was yummy. Kenpachi had good texture and flavor. Chimichurri was so so. Asparagus cooked perfectly still with crisp and sweet. The kimchi fried rice was a perfect accompaniment. Had the blood orange lemonade which was pretty decent. Hubby had the guava-Rita -meh. Don't get it.

Came to Pacific Catch today and overall it's been a good experience. I ordered two sushi rolls, and while they weren't really my cup of tea, I'll be honest -- I'm very picky when it comes to sushi, so that definitely plays a role in my opinion. My drink was really good. I ordered the POG (passion orange guava) and it was refreshing, well-balanced, and nicely presented -- definitely a highlight for me. Everyone else at the table has been enjoying their food and drinks, which is a good sign. The atmosphere is lively, and it was pretty crowded, so it's clearly a popular spot. We did mention that it was my sister-in-law's birthday. The response felt a bit neutral -- more of an acknowledgment than anything -- but overall the service has been fine. Even though the sushi didn't fully hit for me personally, I can see why people enjoy this place. I'd be open to coming back and trying something else on the menu.

    Cabo Calamari
    Maria L.

Our second time here for their Aloha Hour on a Friday. We remembered to wear Hawaiian shirts this time to get the $6 Mai Tai. We ordered the calamari and the Pupu platter to share. It was plenty of food for 2 people. The calamari was crispy and tasty, and I loved the fried lemon slices that came with it. The platter had coconut shrimps, Hawaiian pork belly sliders, sea bass skewers, and guaca-poke with tortilla chips. A great combination and everything on the plate was solid. Service was prompt and we enjoyed our food and drinks.

I popped in for a quick lunch before an appointment and let my server know I only had about 30 minutes -- and he absolutely delivered. I ordered the salmon avocado burger with the coleslaw and it was delicious. Since it's in the Pruneyard, parking can be its own adventure, but I happened to snag a spot right up front... which is honestly the only reason I chose this place. I made a deal with myself that wherever I found parking is where I'd eat, and the parking gods were clearly smiling on me today. Fast, friendly, and a great vibe. Efficient service + tasty food = exactly what I needed.

It's been awhile since we last came to this Pacific Catch location. I think it was before they remodeled like back in 2011. We usually go to their other locations but we were in the neighborhood. The place was well lit and had modern simple decor. *Sashimi Trio Bowl: Sashimi slices (3 each) of kanpachi yellowtail, salmon, and sesame-seared ahi, yuzu tobiko, ponzu, avocado, wakame, marinated cucumber, pickled ginger, daikon sprouts, lemon, soy-wasabi vinaigrette. Base of 1/2 mixed organic greens, 1/2 sushi rice (3.5/5). Good as usual but today the marinated cucumbers were a bit too salty. Also, some of the sashimi was ok.

Love how clean and spacious this location is. There is good lighting and modern decor. The staff is friendly and the service attentive and quick. I recommend the ride bowls and fish tacos!

    Poke duo bowl
    Kate L.

Showed up at 5pm and got seated right away. Started off with the miso soup, and I really enjoyed the texture added by the shitake mushrooms. Loved ordering the poke duo bowl off their new menu, as it was super affordable in comparison to some of their other mains. Perfect portion size, but I wish the the avocado didn't have to be a $2 add-on. Overall solid experience!

The tray was already set neatly with napkin, fork, a hefty portion of complimentary chips, a small dish of house-made salsa, and also a large salsa bottle! I enjoyed the multi-fruit-infused water. Definitely need to work for your meal and get your steps in. The condiments and sauces are in a cart with plastic cups with lids provided. There weren't that many options of sauces when I ate here but it was fine. The birrias and lengua tacos were so good. All the tacos came with two small tortillas to hold in the heaping amount of meat. The horchata here is had more cream than I'm used to. Like more milk was added or something, not enough spices or flavors added in IMO. Ordering was easy, I felt rushed, but it was the waiting to hear my number that was difficult. Listening for the number in the dining area while the music was blasting was difficult, so it's better to wait by the truck. It was relatively empty, with only one other party seated at the time. Service was friendly and quick, and we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. It's got a quaint hole in the wall kind of vibe, but was still clean - though not very air conditioned. We missed it, but there was a salsa bar in the corner near the entrance. We were served complimentary salsa and chips - nice refreshing, tomatoey and lightly spicy salsa. We also got guacamole, which you could tell was freshly made, chunky and refreshing. Glad we got this, because it helped cut through how heavy the molcajete de mariscos we got was. We were NOT expecting how large the mocajete is - this can probably be split across 3 if not 4 people. It comes out boiling hot, and with 3 tortillas, and a side of beans and rice. When we ordered, they asked us if we would want more tortillas since it comes with only 3 - we didn't even finish the 3 it came with. The sauce was tasty, tomatoey and spicy, and it was chock full of mussels, squid, sooo many shrimp, a whole filet of fried fish, and other goodies - unfortunately most of the seafood was pretty dry/overcooked. It came out to about $60 for the two of us. Overall, the mocajete was fun to try, but I think next time I'd try some tacos or a burrito if I were to come back.
