The food and place was great. We were there during my brother's birthday April 30 in the evening and we received the worst customer service from their front desk. Even the manager who is hearing the conversation was ignoring it. Their system had an issue where they got the wrong information on our reservation, which I am not even sure if that is the case, perhaps she really does not know what she is doing. I complained to the manager and we were compensated but then again we are really not after the compensation, we were waiting for that front desk staff to apologize for being rude because that is the right thing to do. Ouch!. Things have changed since we last came here. The seafood was all overcooked!!!! The rice was hard. And it took them nearly 30 minutes to fill a to go order. Me thinks they forgot to make it. We drove 3 hours for a special dinner on the water with family and it was worth it! Despite it being overcast and chilly the view was beautiful. Queen Mary can be viewed from almost anywhere in the restaurant and the atmosphere is wonderful. Our service was stellar as well. The food did not disappoint. The calamari was delicious, tender and the sauces we tasty. The shrimp cocktail was okay, I have had better. The shrimp were large but not deveined and the cocktail sauce just tasted like ketchup. The main course was delicious. I had the salmon Shanghai style, my husband had the swordfish California style, my dad had the surf and turf, and my stepdad had the Mariners platter. All were very tasty and the portions were generous. The show stopper was the desserts though! We all shared the cheesecake, chocolate cake, and key lime pie. Amazing. We dined at Parker's Lighthouse with a group of 15 on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was very busy for mid week. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. Waters were delivered to the table quickly after being seated and the waitress pretty much immediately took our drink orders. I think it took us 20 minutes to get those drinks. I ordered the mango mojito and it was very good. One in our party ordered the PB&J and he said it was excellent. We ordered calamari and sampler platters as appetizers for the table. Calamari was so so. Crab cake was wonderful and the lobster taquitos were also very good. A second round of drinks were ordered just as our entrees were being served. Those didn't arrive until we finished eating. For our main course I had the crab stuffed shrimp and my husband had the cedar plank salmon. We weren't impressed with either entree. I know some at our table ordered steak and they also were not impressed. Two people ordered dessert....cheese cake and the butter cake. I didn't taste but both looked good. The butter cake smelled delicious and the one that ordered it said it was fantastic. I think the moral of the story is to order appetizers and dessert and skip the entree!! read more

Went here for the first time Sunday night and it was absolutely amazing! Our server was Laura and she made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable with the setting sun moving into our eyes as we ate. Ate lunch here with some clients....the atmosphere was nice as we sat outside on the deck viewing the water. The staff was very polite and helpful. I had the special which was the Corvina Seabass, which was very good. The fish was light and flakey and served over a bed of rice and corn. Went with a party of 6 for a birthday and there was a decent amount of people not packed at all in the restaurant​​ and service was super slow it took an hour for our appetizers​ to come out and 2 hours for our entrees. The waitress, ​​she was wearing glasses, hardly checked on us, she was more attentive​ to other tables and didn't apologize​ for the slow service. When the food did come out it was not enjoyable because our hunger went away. The view was beautiful but the service was horrible. My hubby makes a better beurre blanc sauce than what came with his swordfish. I had to send the chocolate cake back, the taste was so off putting. Staff not properly trained in serving guests. For example, reaching directly across us to place or retrieve an item. Setting the bread plate on the right instead of the left, placing a fork for dessert on my husband's right and my left as it was quicker to do so. My boyfriend took me here for our first valentines day in 2008 and we were lucky enough to book our reservations early before it was packed. The place is really nice with a nice view. I still loved the lobster bisque here. The service was good and the waiter was really patient with us. The food is worth the price. I would definitely come back here again. This place is a very nice choice for Valentines day. But I do suggest booking your reservations at 4:30pm or 5pm. It wouldn't hurt to have an early dinner and plus it will be a really long wait if you booked your reservations after 6pm. read more

Stopped by for dinner since the pictures looked pretty good and the location since it provides a great view of the dock area. I sat in the bar/lounge area with a pretty nice view of the Queen Mary. I think the pictures looked much better than the food tasted... Well I based my meal on the pictures taken and what looked good, and since I my current diet limited me to what I can have so I went with the crabcake and cobb salad. I started with the crab cake. Meh. It was overbreaded and it seem like it was scooped out with an ice cream scooper and plunked onto the plate and then baked. $14. Really? I was hoping my cobb salad would make up for it but it was also a let down. The lettuce was yellow, and all I tasted was too much dressing. The shrimp looked anorexic and it was overcooked. The crabmeat was poured from a can. I swear the pictures must have been photoshopped because my plates looked nowhere near that. When my waitress did finally come around to drop off the dessert menu, I said no thanks since I was afraid of another letdown, paid my bill, and picked up a dessert at the shop next door. Alot of folks mentioned the sushi is good here so maybe I will try to catch it during happy hour, but then again I doubt I am coming back... read more

Great location near The Queen Mary. Service was spotty, at least for large groups. Food presentation was good. They don't do vegetarian well, but we all had fun trying to guess what the mystery vegetable in my dish might be. It strongly resembled fatty pork, and even the waitress was stumped (although she tried to pass it off as heirloom tomato). In the end I didn't get lunch or even an apology. They were not able to accommodate a vegan coworker at all, and I'm afraid I can't recommend this place! Two stars are for location. read more

We were told by many locals that this was the best restaurant on the pier. They were right. There are other good restaurants on the pier, but they're chain restaurants. These guys are different. They're in a great spot. Excellent view over the water. Their happy hour prices are amazing for what they deliver. Well worth the trip. I have been here a few times, mainly because I once tried their salmon sushi and it was a kind of melt-in-your-mouth experience to be had again. You never forget that richness, and I was surprised with myself that I did not get it this time. They have your standard surf and turf, though we tend to go for their seafood. We were seated inside, and I thought the view of the Queen Mary docked in the harbor was very pretty especially at night. We ordered the half order of oysters (3 for $9) and bowl of clam chowder ($8) and the Lighthouse roll ($15). The chowder and oysters were tasty, but for the cost we don't absolutely feel the need to order either of them again. The roll, however, was very nice. A welcome bit of jalapeño heat, the crunch of lettuce and freshness of crabmeat, wrapped neatly in delicate soy paper. Somehow, I didn't miss the sushi rice so much. Eight pieces of pure delight, easily a new favorite of mine. So when I do come back, I hope I remember to stick with the sushi again. read more

Took some friends out for the night and we just decided to randomnly drop in for dinner. Two receptionist greeted us, one had a beautiful smile and welcoming the other seemed like she was doing this job for too long and is burned out on welcoming guests. So, we and the nice receptionist guided us to the patio seating area which the views are awesome for a cold rainy night. Patio Heaters certainly kept us warm. Our waiter greeted us cordially, made sure our seats were dry, (since there was an improntu rain shower which caught us at the parking lot), so we are grateful for his detailed observation on the wet chairs. He introduced us to items on the menu being that it was our first time. So, we all tried the Clam Chowder which was delicious, perfectly balanced not to creamy or watery, fresh clams OMG! Yuuuh-um! my cocktail was a Zeferia which hit the spot- a little limoncello, mezcal tequila and smokey guajillo syrup which the drink just give you the right amount of citrus, acidity, warmth of the mezcal and followed with a smokey finish of the guajillo chile. No, it's not spicy heat... anyways, so since we started with seafood, we decided to choose a seafood dish, so we went with Seafood linguine!! oh my! fresh seafood with the linguine and there is no other way to have it! clams, scallops, shrimp, the pesto sauce, Mama Mia è bene!! Manga manga non-stop, lol! it hit the spot for the evening! also, the the butter that comes with the bread in the basket... Yuh-um! Everything was excellent for us and We look forward to re-visitng this wonderful gem of a place with our friends.
