Interesting place. A decent size coffee shop with two barista counters, but only one side opened as the other side is shut down. It was a pretty long wait as they were short handed in staff? Anyhow, I was still able to get my latte after a long wait. I think they forgot my order. Another weird experience was after i stuck my credit card into the card machine, the whole machine went blank. No, I don't have a Peet's coffee app because there isn't any locations around my neck of the woods. So I usually pay cash or credit card. Lol. Pretty nice location in a shopping plaza. There's a lot of traffic around. My latte was okay. Not as good as I thought it would be. I think they just made it too quick as the barista was in a rush to fill orders. It was probably more sweet than I wanted, even though I asked for half sugar. Can't really complain as I am addicted to caffeine. Lol. Overall, I wouldn't hang out there if I was a student. They need to train the staff a bit better. But it's all good.

Food, service, and Ambiance is superb and top notch at this coffee shop. The facilities are pristine and the workers are friendly and Knowledgeable. If you are interested in reading your book while enjoying a good cup of Chai please visit this location. Thank you Peet's Coffee

I ordered my latte to go and I was very disappointed with my drink. It had a burnt after taste and smelled like burnt coffee. I couldn't even finished my drink and my stomach felt upset after.

It's Pumpkin Season at Peet's, so I came here in search of something pumpkinny yet not too sweet. Although I often bring my own home brewed Pete's Coffee, I had a little time before work and decided to treat myself. I ordered the Pumpkin Chai Latte with Low Fat Milk. It was glorious and had me bragging to everyone at work about my Chai. Like a Kid. Cause I got a chai, I got a chai, it's made with pumpkin, my pumpkin chaiiiii..... ;P

I get my iced matcha in any Peet's and always satisfied. This is my first time getting it from this store. But totally disappointed. I ordered large but when i came home to drink it, it was only 75% of the cup. With the bubbles/frappe. Haven't noticed it while in the store coz it was bubbly when i got it. The cup looked full.... Also, after awhile i notice something that i have never seen before and i'm not sure if this is still good or not. Please see attached photo. Anyhow, won't be getting my iced matcha fix there anymore.

After a solid morning workout, I needed something refreshing to kickstart my day. I had a Peet's gift card burning a hole in my pocket and was glad there was one located upstairs in the center. I ordered a small passion iced tea to compare it to Starbucks and also enjoy some Internet usage outside at their dog-friendly tables too. Their tea was actually a bit punchier than Starbucks and reminded me of a cactus cooler or something. I actually liked it more than the stuff I normally get but unfortunately I don't think they've got a generous refill program. This Peet's could have been cleaner but the service was decent. I like that they've got so many tables outside and folks like to lounge outside with their dogs. The weather outside has been stunning lately and Peet's passion iced tea is some good stuff while getting out of the heat. Go get some! Food: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Price: $ Atmosphere: 7/10

Their latte is really good IMO. Foot traffic is a constant, but there's not much of a wait as these guys work quick. An extra star since definitely will return more often, what with the 24hrF right there as well. While roomy inside, the layout is "busy", with chairs and tables at both ends of the cafe and a high counter overlooking the shopping center's parking lot (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/za4AJqDJEA-2adi51qtARQ?select=BEhlg-OaDOXtQf5HVCUptQ). Walking to the restroom takes you through a seating area, which was not inviting, again IMO. Sitting outside on the metal benches or chairs could be an option if it's sunny outside. Good location to have - in the Potrero Center. There are two doors, one leading straight to the register, the other is to a seating area (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/za4AJqDJEA-2adi51qtARQ?select=JK1Oi3f_txWK1iRyQTnQPg).

$100 in gift cards using my Peet's App

I tried purchasing four $5 gift cards (to give away as gifts), using a $20 Peet's gift card. The employee said the store wouldn't allow me to do that because it's a new "company policy." No manager was available to help. Really guys?!?! Are you serious?! I know we live in a jacked up world, and lots of shady stuff happening, but are you concerned about $5 cards now?! For real? I guess we will no longer patronize this establishment AND we'll be sharing with others. #VeryPoorTaste Oh, I forgot to mention, when I asked to talk to manager, he didn't have the leadership guts to talk to me, but instead, had the sweet barista try explaining things to me. Lol. Come on San Su, you have my number. You could've at least been a leader and called back. That's why they pay YOU to be the manager. UPDATE: Peet's wouldn't allow me to purchase $5 gift cards with my $20 gift card, so I simply transferred them to my Peets App, and then went to store and purchased my cards. SMH. (I cleared my $100 balance, in $5 gift cards... will give them to homeless people in front of this store). Peet's district manager should do a better job training employees and store managers on how to use better common sense and customer service. This was a super simple issue, with a super simple solution. San Su didn't have either OR even the guts as a manager to talk to me directly. #NeverComingBackToThisPeets

They explained that the flight includes an espresso shot, espresso shot with milk, hot coffee, and iced coffee. I hadn't had a straight espresso shot before, so this wasn't for me personally just because it was so overpowering. I enjoyed the other three though. It seems like there's also an upstairs but did not get the chance to check it out. I got an iced latte with their almond macadamia milk, and they're also so nice to do complimentary cold brew! So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

But Katsu is really becoming the new hype of the day for Japanese food, following the Sushi, Ramen, Japanese Curry, Katsu trend. So I came in with a critical view. I feel like Yoshoku in general may be next but I yet again digress. The box sandwich came in a cute little box. The inside was packed so I couldn't get a chance to fully appreciate the cafe, but the service was nice though the pay line may have moved slower than hoped. I'll say this. This is "the" best katsu sando in the bay. The katsu is crispy, but little on the softer side. But this hardness matches perfectly with the absolutely tender, soft, juicy pork wrapped inside. I'm looking at the menu again and it all makes sense. The pork has been in shio koji, making the meat ever so tender while adding the subtle but complicated marinated flavor. The cabbage is plenty, but not over packed to take away from the main Katsu flavor. What really perfects it for me, was not only the sweet and savory katsu sauce, but the mayo with dash of I think a karashi mustard. That slight tingle, the perfect kick gives a powerful awakening of flavor that really sets the it apart. This is art, an artisan. Culinary art is the refuge no raging rampant AI slop "art" can ever hope to touch. Until the day we get some cyborg implant to our brain into gustatory, olfactory functions. Even then, I don't think any tasteless tech bro are hopeless to create anything unique or beautiful.
