This was my first experience at Perrry's Steakhouse at their new Gilbert San Tan Village location. It was a girls night out. Love the high ceilings the open space. It was pretty noisy inside the restaurant when I first arrived, the restaurant was full and the main dining room doesn't appear to have acoustical dampening. We were seated in a smaller side room. While the glass doors were open, it provided a more intimate setting and the carpeting and small space made for a much more bearable atmosphere to have nice dinner conversation. We each had the 4 for $44 promotion that is currently offered. 4 Course meal from Prix Fixe choices. I chose their seasonal soup, which was an Artichoke Potato Leek Soup with Truffle Oil, Broiled Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, 18 oz Perry's Famous Pork Chop (lunch portion) and the Chocolate Crunch Tower. The standouts from my meal was the soup and the pork chop. The flavors from both of these was superb!! The mushrooms and the dessert were fine, pretty standard steakhouse dessert far, but just nothing worth really noting. Side note: My friend ordered the seasonal dessert, Orange Vanilla Cream Cheesecake. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It was something different, flavor combination that I have not ever seen or tried for a cheesecake, and it was pretty good. The service from the moment we walked in was attentive and friendly. Thank you Ray for a wonderful first experience at Perry's. Definitely coming back to try more!

Had a mixed experience at this beautiful restaurant. The staff was excellent from start to finish. Since it was hubby's birthday, we wanted to order something memorable. We asked the server to start the Wellington immediately since we knew it takes longer. Unfortunately it still took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our entrees. The pork chop was tasty and tender and the apple sauce was amazing. I honestly could have a bowl of that haha. Unfortunately the Wellington was overly salty. The outside pastry was very browned but the pastry underneath was undercooked. When I cut into it, it was very loose and completely fell apart. This was very disappointing as I had been looking forward to it. To their credit, they had removed the Wellington from our bill without us even asking them to. The Caesar salad was very salty with too much Parmesan and not enough dressing. I did like the presentation with a couple of anchovies on top. Steak and tater totter bites was pretty good. We ended up taking the fudge chocolate cake home and it was very good. The excellent service and how they handled the issue with the Wellington left us with a positive impression despite the disappointing food. I would go back and order the pork chop again with extra applesauce.

I recommended this place because espresso Marr are one of my favorite drinks. They have a salted caramel espresso martini, which was excellent at one of my best tasted drinks. I've had it quite some time. The ambience was excellent the dining room, the lighting all the decor, the wine locker in the middle of the dining room Private rooms are very discreet. The service was top shelf. They do have valet parking complementary and the food was excellent. We ordered a ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. The mushrooms were very good and the corn Brûlé was tasty. The char grilled oysters were OK. The oysters were sorta small, they had a lot of filling in them which was tasty but the oyster I could not taste that well because it was small. Also, I would highly recommend that you check this out. It's a great alternative to have a drive to Scottsdale for a fine dining experience right here in the neighborhood in Gilbert. Returned for another visit, this time with 8 friends for dinner. Our server Meagan was excellent and so was the dinner. Stayed with the pork chop and added potatoes au gratin. Wow, were they good. Ordered the seasonal cheesecake again to go, along with more Au gratin potatoes. Keep up the good work.

I am so glad I tried this new addition to the Gilbert restaurant scene! When I went they had a 44 year anniversary $44 special which was a great way to taste many things on the menu. I started with the seafood stuffed mushrooms, followed by the delicious truffle leek soup, chicken oscar as my main dish, topped off by a refreshing orange cheesecake. I also sampled a few of their cocktails, my favorite being the Perry Berry Mule and the Pineapple Mojito. The restaurant itself is modern , elegant and elevated, its very large and parking is a breeze. Service was stellar from the moment I made an online reservation throughout my entire meal. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience from start to end. All the staff that we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. I ordered salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive the whole time and she was friendly. The inside was clean and spacious.

Had dinner here last night with my mom and sister and booking a reservation online was quick and easy. We arrived right on time at 6:30pm and checked in with the hostesses. We waited a few minutes and we were then seated. Our server came over right away and introduced herself. She welcomed us in, gave us the 411 on the menu, and gave us time to look it over. We started out with 3 cocktail drinks. We ordered: 1 PERRY BERRY MULE Tito's Handmade vodka, fresh-pressed lime and cranberry juices, freshly-muddled strawberries, topped with ginger ale 1 THYME LEMON DROP Ketel One vodka, St-Germain Elderflower liqueur, fresh-pressed lemon juice, and freshly muddled thyme, rimmed with sugar 1 RASPBERRY REFRESHER Perry's Reserve Rosé, Hendrick's, fresh-pressed lemon juice, and freshly muddled raspberry and lychee Complimentary warm bread and butter were dropped off while we waited for our drinks. For our entrees we ordered: 2x 3 - COURSE PORK CHOP (Sunday special) - Caesar salad, pork chop, and side of mashed potatoes 1x CHARGRILLED SALMON - Served with lemon dill butter and cauliflower mousse 1x PERRY'S SIGNATURE FRIED ASPARAGUS - Topped with jumbo lump crabmeat 1x Rocky road pudding cake The salads came out first and they were DELCIOUS. The lettuce was served cold, crisp, and the dressing was perfect. The pork chops are HUGE. They were cut table side and the servers did a great job informing us what pieces they were cutting. They were flavorful and fell right off the bone, they were SOOO good. My sister enjoyed her salmon and said it had good flavor. The side of mashed potatoes and our side of asparagus were both delicious as well. For dessert, we tried the rocky road pudding cake and it was such a GREAT treat. Our server was the BEST as she was friendly, attentive, and very kind to my mom. All the servers kept our waters filled and toped off. The inside is beautiful and I enjoyed being able to look into the kitchen, we had a great time!

For a new and upcoming restaurant, it seems like they are getting really good traction. We went on a Friday night and it was pretty busy but the space was well laid out. Our server was really good and attentive so 5 stars on that! The drinks were all amazing. The old fashioned is a must try here! Now to the food: We waited a while for our food and my table ordered steaks, I had chicken. The Filet Perry was amazing per my partner, my friends had a 20oz cowboy ribeye and the filet & Lobster tail which they said was heavenly. My chicken had good flavor but was dry unfortunately. I didn't send back to the kitchen because I knew it would take a long time to get back. Overall good experience for a brand new restaurant getting into the rhythm but unfortunate that the one thing that saved the chicken from being edible was that there was sauce on it.

Beautiful restaurant and bar. We sat in the bar area for dinner and drinks. Service was very very slow and we had to practically beg for bread to hold us over. I ordered the vegan chopped steak and it was wonderful! Flavorful and hearty and a nice portion size. The gravy was salty, but delicious. I would for sure get it again and ask to have them go light on the salt. They are super busy, so I'm sure the service will get better once they've been around a while.

I went in a Monday and it was pretty busy. I highly recommend reservations especially if it's a weekend evening. I sat at the bar and had such a great time! The bartending staff is phenomenal. My only complaint from the evening is that it took an abnormal amount of time for my apps to come out. The food and drinks were superb and I look forward to going back to try some more of their menu! The bar is great for a chill evening and the dining area would be really good for a date night, celebration or business dinner.

We were greeted in as we walked in, very spacious and beautifully decorated! Made reservations last Sunday at the bar, loved that they have actual tables to dine on in the bar area. It's been 7yrs since I last got to enjoy aged filet mignon and Perry's did NOT disappoint, it was amazing with every bite, I ordered add on for blackened and blue, perfect combination! Loved the portion amount for "Sides for two" as we both enjoyed sharing and still had left overs to take home. Banana Foster was delicious, different from what I'm used to, I loved how they crystallized brown sugar on top, has that crème brûlée crunch to it! We enjoyed our visit and looking forward to coming back often!

My wife and I recently tried Perry's in Gilbert, and first off, the restaurant is beautiful. The East Valley definitely needed a place like this, and the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy. We had reservations and were seated within about five minutes, which was impressive because the place was packed. It took a little while for our server to make it over, but we were in no rush. My wife ordered a Pinot Grigio, and I ordered a Diet Coke. My Diet Coke arrived exactly as advertised. Her Pinot Grigio arrived looking suspiciously like red wine. Minor issue, no big deal. We figured someone in the bar was feeling creative. We ordered the prime ribeye, the surf and turf pasta, potatoes au gratin, and Brussels sprouts. Then we settled in, had a great conversation, and watched every table around us get their orders taken and receive bread. We did not get bread. Fifteen minutes passed. Then 20. Then 30. Eventually, our server noticed the wine mistake, apologized, and brought the correct glass. Still no bread. A manager came over, apologized for the delay, and kindly offered to comp our appetizers. Very generous, except we had not ordered any appetizers. We had ordered extra sides. He apologized again and disappeared into the very beautiful restaurant. Our food finally arrived about an hour after we ordered. The food was good, but my medium-rare ribeye was light pink with no red, so it had clearly moved on to medium without telling me. My wife enjoyed the surf and turf pasta. The potatoes au gratin and Brussels sprouts were easily the stars of the meal, which is a little concerning for a restaurant known for steaks and chops. When the vegetables and potatoes are carrying the team, something has gone off-script. Perry's is gorgeous and has a lot of potential, so hopefully this was just an off night or opening growing pains. But between the mystery wine, missing bread, hour-long wait, and overcooked steak, we are not sure we will be back.

My husband and I visited Perry's Steakhouse & Grille Gilbert during opening week and had a wonderful experience. First impressions matter, and Ashley was one of the best hostesses we have encountered in a long time. She warmly welcomed us, kindly accommodated us with a great table, and set the tone for an exceptional evening. Our server, Jacob, was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the evening. Having enjoyed Perry's in Texas over the years, we were especially interested in seeing how the concept would translate to Arizona. We are happy to say the Gilbert team has done an excellent job preserving the quality, hospitality, and attention to detail that have made Perry's so successful. One of the highlights of the evening was the wine and champagne selection. We were delighted to find Ruinart Blanc de Blancs on the menu and enjoyed two bottles during dinner. It was a pleasant surprise to see a champagne program of this caliber so early after opening. If I could make one suggestion, I would love to see Ruinart Brut added in the future as well. The Beef Carpaccio was fresh and beautifully presented. The Blue Point Oysters were excellent, and the Pork Chop Bites were incredibly tender and flavorful. The applesauce pairing worked perfectly. I ordered the Japanese A5 Wagyu, which was cooked exactly as requested and showcased exceptional quality. My husband enjoyed the Koji Aged Steak, which offered wonderful flavor and tenderness and was a standout entrée. For dessert, we enjoyed the lemon bar and took home the Seven Finger High Chocolate Cake for the kids. Both were fantastic. We would also like to recognize Kevin, Philip, Kristin T., Knicki, TK, and Devon. The management team was visible, engaged, and clearly invested in creating a great guest experience. You could see the teamwork throughout the restaurant, with everyone working together to ensure things ran smoothly. Opening a restaurant is never easy, especially when bringing a well established concept into a new state. Five days after opening, the Gilbert team appears to have found its footing remarkably quickly, and great ambiance. We are excited to have Perry's in Arizona and look forward to many future visits.

Disappointing Anniversary Dinner - Expected More for the Price…read more My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here after getting recommendations from friends who spoke highly of the place. Since we're in the Gilbert area, we loved the idea of a great steakhouse without the drive to Scottsdale. We went in with high expectations -- we're no strangers to special occasion dining, so we knew what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in almost every way. The ambience and service felt more like a polished chain restaurant than the upscale dining experience the prices suggest. For a $300-$400 dinner for two, you expect a certain level of attentiveness and flow -- and we just didn't get it. After our appetizers, we noticed we never received the pretzel bread everyone raves about. When I asked our waiter, he said they had just finished baking a fresh batch. When it arrived, it was cold -- so that clearly wasn't the case. We also had to flag our waiter down to take our entrée order, which shouldn't happen at this price point. My steak was fine -- just fine. My wife's fish was the same. Nothing memorable, nothing that made us feel like the bill was justified. By the end of the meal we were both ready to leave. Our waiter did offer a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was a nice gesture, but we were already checked out mentally and chose to go somewhere else to finish the evening on a better note. If you're in the East Valley looking for a truly special dinner, I'd honestly just make the drive to Mastro's Oceans Club or Steak 44.

Use to visit the Chandler location weekly 12-14 years ago.. even told our kiddos that tonight when we brought them here. Problems started as soon as we got our food. All the food came out besides our son's children's steak, was told they had to cook another one. As we were waiting for his steak, my husband noticed his steak wasn't a ribeye like he ordered. He suspected it was a NY Strip Steak. About 7 minutes goes by and manger brings our sons steak. My husband asked the manager if his steak looked like a NY strip to him and manager replied "yes, I think we have the best NY Strip" and my husband nicely replied, I didn't order a Strip, I ordered a Ribeye and told the manager it was fine, he would eat it still and still tasted good but didn't want to be changed for a Ribeye since he got the strip wrong. ($12 difference) I got the firebirds bacon chicken pasta with steak instead of chicken and no tomatoes and green onions. Well.. there was def tomatoes and onions and no bacon. And I was changed $30 for pasta and steak.. that wasn't even made the way I asked. Well my son's (late) steak was suppose to be medium and it was rare. By the time the server came back my son was eating some of my husbands steak and my pasta so we just asked the server to take his meal off the check because it was late and cooked wrong. She said it was absolutely cooked wrong and insisted to bring him a new steak as well as take it off the check. She even asked him to put his steak on a plate and "she'd throw it away and they'll make him a new children steak." Well manager comes back and tell my husband that his steak was in fact a ribeye (it was def not a ribeye.. no marbling whatsoever) and dropped off our sons steak.... It literally was the pieces we had cut up that they just threw back on the grill. Even pieces our son chewed and spit out when it was rare and too chewy for him. Like GROSS!!! They did take the children's steak off the check and gave us a free dessert( which we didn't even want, we would have rather paid the correct amount for my husbands steak...) The waitress was fine, none of this was her fault because she read us back what we ordered and had it all correct.. but she fell short as to getting us refills (never even offered a 2nd round of wine or beer) and when it was time for the check we gave 2 gift cards $50 each and our card to pay. She brought back our copy to sign and she only took off 1 $50 gift card. We had to call her over and she realized she didn't use both giftcards and had to void our card and redo it. The managers were busy the whole night talking to upset tables. This location really needs to get their stuff together. Again, nice to offer dessert but truly all we wanted was to get what we paid for and how we asked for it and tonight wasn't it. Literally felt like we were scammed outta $160. we will be taking our $$ elsewhere.

At Joe's Farm Grill, the quality of ingredients does show in every single dish you get. Another thing to mention is, when you're done ordering your food at the register, they are pretty fast regardless of how packed the place is which pleasantly surprised me! For the onion rings, I liked them for a few reasons. Starting off, the onions weren't soggy by any means which I love in a good ring, batter wasn't the majority of the ring which is also a great sign, and lastly the crunch was very nice with them coming out fresh. The Fontina burger has a great beef patty that carries its flavor by how clean it tastes alongside the mushrooms that are the other biggest taste factor for this burger. Finally, the baby back ribs were the star for me personally because you can actually taste the pork for its quality. I usually expect a super sweet sauce that bogs me down after with ribs, but these ones left me feeling able to still go on about my day which I love. They aren't shake off the bone tender but I liked the gentle chew they provide.
