This bakery is to the level of Supermoon Bakehouse but better, in my opinion. Exquisite quality pastries. I only included a picture of my half eaten chocolate chip cookie (excuse the pic) but if you look at pictures of the other pastries at the bakery, they are all gorgeous. The salted caramel puff: amazing! Inside includes a caramel cream as well as salted caramel (where you can actually taste the salt but it was not overpowering). This was so impressive and balanced. The chocolate chip cookie is thick and tastes so buttery, is soft in the middle (!!), and includes dark and milk chocolate chips. The perfect cookie (tastes like a Hot Take cookie if you've ever had one, minus the salt on top). Bring it home so you can have it with milk (this is what I did). It was really empty when I went. This place needs more hype, I really don't want it to close down and the area it's in is usually tough for food businesses (constantly rotating). It's a must try!! read more

They have really limited seatings so it's really more of a to-go place. Chocolate Croissant: I love that they used both chocolate cream and chocolate baton. The lamination is beautiful too! Would be PERFECT if they egg washed/glazed the top for that glisten touch. Pistachio Eclair: I'm not usually a fan of having to pay $8 for a pastry but this is truly worth the money. They did not hold back on the pistachio used. Only feedback is that this is too sweet for my liking (but my bf likes it), might be good to cut back on the sugar in the pistachio cream because the glazed pistachio topped on the eclair is already soooo sweet. read more

Walked in late (around 7pm on a Tuesday) and they had already sold out of most pastries. That being said, the prices took me by surprise because almost all of them are $7+ which is more expensive than a NY slice of pizza or a falafel from mamouns but I had heard really good things and figured why not so we got the raspberry passion fruit dessert and eagerly went home to try. A very cute patisserie down in the East Village area. I came by when they were running Valentine's Day special treat, here's what I ordered: 1. Berry Napoleon: this was so light and flaky, the raspberries added a tart contrast to the creaminess of the whipping cream, it was heart shaped too! So cute! 2. Chocolate Bread: this bread was extremely crunchy on the outside and had a layer of chocolate on the bottom with a chocolate ganache filling. 3.Cinnamon Buns: these were so large and dense, so satisfying! 4. Sticky bun: basically a pecan/maple version of a cinnamon roll, super soft. One thing though is I think the pecans they used might have been a little rancid (?) Apple danish: not really a danish, think apple strudel filling inside a croissant. Really good. Cherry danish: good, but my least favorite of the four. Overall I enjoyed the kalamansi (Philippine citrus) tart more cause the flavors were more balanced with the pie crust and an adequate amount of sour lemon-like cream filling on top and mildly sweet whipped cream on top. Reportedly tastes like key lime pie if that's your thing. The passionfruit and guava puff was definitely the more interesting flavor. It was my brother and dad's pick. But we felt the same for the filling being a bit overwhelming with how much of the passionfruit and guava jam-like cream was in the puff. The puff was actually really good! It had like a nice doughy yet crumbly consistency with nicely sweet filling (blueberry on the bottom, custard on top). Came here on a whim because me and my friend were craving something sweet and it did not disappoint!!! When you first come in you see the brightly lit display of all the desserts available for the day which already looked so good. Another customer was really hyping up the apple pie puff saying that it tastes exactly like an apple pie with vanilla ice cream so I had to get it. It genuinely tasted just as good as it looked. I had the coconut mango cake and albeit it looks really cute and all the texture was just completely off and it didn't really taste like anything. I tried the Cinnamon Roll and Chocolate Croissant. While the Cinnamon Roll was good, the Chocolate Croissant was incredible! It's really different from a Pain au Chocolat. There's cocoa in the dough and, long with dark chocolate in the center of the pastry, there's also a chocolate cream (almost like pudding) in the center. The entire pastry is rich, decadent and very chocolatey. I'm looking forward to my next visit to this spot - definitely to have another Chocolate Croissant, but also to try some of the other offerings. read more

Although we had come to originally get their cream puffs, they had a very good assortment of various desserts so my friends and I ended up trying out a few of their other desserts. We ended up ordering the: Passionfruit and Blueberry Cream Puff (5/5): Wow, this is one of the best desserts that I had in awhile. I normally don't really like cream puffs (I find them too sweet), but the tartness of the passionfruit helped offset the overall sweetness of the cream. The texture of the cream and the outside puff was also very good. Hazelnut Eclair (4.5/5): Also very solid, this also had really great flavor and texture. The hazelnut flavor really comes through without being overly rich. Strawberry (2/5): Only reason I can't give this place a 5/5. The strawberry flavor was super artificial and the texture of the cheesecake was super dense and gummy.
