Not the best Pho for me. I had heard so many great things about their chicken Pho, so I decided to check out their menu. I ended up ordering their Ribeye beef, and it was surprisingly tasty! It was probably one of the best Phos I've ever had. I added lime and chili to my Ribeye Pho, and it was amazing. I almost finished the entire soup! But, I'm giving them three stars because my stomach started hurting two hours after eating. I'm still barely recovering two days later, and I even had to call off work. The moral of the story is to stick with their chicken Pho unless you have a strong stomach for the beef. The ambiance was great. It's a small, cozy spot with no fancy furniture. The service was super fast, thanks to their cool little robot that serves the dishes. One thing to note is that they apparently don't accept card payments for orders under $20. So, when the elderly Vietnamese lady who barely spoke English combined my check with my friends' (which we didn't ask for), she seemed to have a mini heart attack when I asked her to split the payment. Average chicken pho but prob one of the best chicken pho you will get in Westminster. My mom loves chicken pho so I been to quite a few. Like Pho, there are many restaurants out there but very few are authentic. The chicken here was fresh. You can choose UC, duoi or combo. I didn't know what UC was lol but if you want chicken breast then get that. Duoi = thigh and combo = both. Cheapest was the chicken breast. I ordered the small bowl with thigh since I am not a fan of white meat. It cost $1.50 more. The reason I said average was because the broth was a bit salty. The broth does not have much of the chicken flavor. My mom said it tasted like salt soup. The veggies were not fresh...looked like left over or going bad. The chicken was ok. It was fresh but somehow, the flavor was a bit off. Maybe the way it was cooked. Made it less flavorful and less juicy. The ginger sauce had like no ginger. It was ok but it should have ginger. The best item here was the liver. It was super fresh. Prob one of the best me and my had out of all restaurants. It didn't smell bad or anything. However, it didn't came with the chicken pho. Had lunch today at Pho Ga Hai Van in Westminster. Pretty good. First place I've been to where the staff uses a serving robot that holds multiple trays of food. Which is a good idea because a lot of the food is served piping hot, including my dish, which was pho ap chao with seafood. I actually needed to wait to eat it because it was so hot. Though the sauce helps to make the deep fried pho softer to eat. It was the texture I was kind of expecting. Crispy is REALLY crispy. The place looks brand new inside, and it's pretty small and hard to spot from the road as it's tucked inside the corner of a strip mall. Plus, the menu is rather limited, though that can be a good thing. I ordered the fried chicken with rice for carryout($16) for my child; I found that the fried chicken pieces were overcooked, extremely dry, and mostly bone. The quality was unacceptable, making the meal inedible. You can tell by the coloration of the chicken( very dark) and also it is not from the leg or thigh but are "bad" cut of meat (less flavorful part). Moreover, another time where they sold me expired rice that I didnt bother to complain. They are cutting corners to gain profit while selling you garbage and expired food. 6-24-22 On Wednesday when my nail person found out I was going to Disneyland this weekend she said, you must have a Orange County pho. She continued saying once you've tasted pho here, pho in Hawaii can't compare. Grateful to her cuz we didn't know a whole section of Vietnamese businesses were so close to Disneyland.. based on Yelp we drove to this restaurant as it had 4-1/2 stars. Wow! The meat to noodles ratio was so generous that each chopstick full had meat. This is the first time I ordered vinegar onions and it's very faint if eaten raw. I just dumped them into the hot broth to soften them along with 2 squeezes of lime and the longest culantro and large jalapeño slices. The iced coffee sweetened with condensed milk was very delicious. The egg rolls were akin to spring rolls without lettuce but embellished with pretty slivered daikon and carrots. They had run out of chicken gizzards that I wanted to try cuz I rarely see that on menus. The highlight was the robot that brought our food and had a female voice that said enjoy your meal. The woman said they had her a month cuz of labor shortage and she can service four tables at a time with her sensor following their voiced instructions. Amazing! I got a big kick out of their robot employee. We went for a little ride and found several other Vietnamese malls/village. Kinda like how Las Vegas has Spring Mountain Road. Came by after work cause I was feeling a wee bit under the weather with a sore throat. Typed up "Pho" on Google and came across this gem. Interior is cozy and makes you feel like you're visiting your aunt and uncle's store. The menu is straightforward with just the front page to make it easier to choose. If you hadn't noticed by now, their specialty is all things chicken related: pho, fried rice, congee you name it. I went with their specialty and ordered the Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) with both thigh and breast meats. Priced at $13.50, it was a decent meal for the cost. The noodles, proteins, and veggies came separately which is nice instead of them dumping all the ingredients into the bowl. Their condiments are what stood out to me compared to other pho places: they have these fresh SPICY chilies that'll clear your sinuses! They also had electric pepper grinders to add fresh ground peppers to your soup. Soup tasted clean with a sweet finish of aromas from the herbs. The chilis added pinching bites of heat without changing the flavor profile of the broth. Oh, and they give you THICC rice noodles which soaks up that wonderful broth Definitely the spot to go if you're looking for a hangover cure or if you're coming down with the flu.
