5 stars for incredibly friendly service and large portions of delicious food! The house special vermicelli bowl has three proteins: shrimp, chicken and pork, and they don't skimp. Super filling! The veggies and salad that come with the plate are very fresh and tasty. The fresh shrimp rolls came packed well and with a generous container of flavorful peanut sauce. I called my order in and it was ready in under 10 minutes, but when I picked it up I saw how clean and inviting the interior of this spot is. All right, I've ordered multiple times and feel that I can provide feedback. Not only will I provide a review but also tell the story in the midst of pandemic. PACKAGING There've been numerous reviews on how well packaged the deliveries are; to which I say absolutely! Out of all the different places I've had the privilege to order from, without a doubt, Pho Nation would be top 3. Everything is packed carefully and none of their containers are flimsy or heat compromised. Important items such as hoisin sauce and chili hot sauce are provided along with the plastic utensils. FOOD Numerous times, I've ordered pho ga and pho filet mignon (rare steak) and they're both excellent. The pho noodles along with sautéed garlic, cilantro, and green onion are packaged separately from the broth. It's interesting because it's neither the northern Pho variant nor the southern Pho variant: it's a combination of both so I guess that's a variant! The broth was clear and not at all fatty (southern variant) but had a aromatic ginger scent. Light and flavorful, as other reviews have shared. Yes, the noodles seemed to clump together but with the addition of broth they disentangled. So let me just say that while the noodles seems clumped, the chicken a bit dry, the broth definitely brought it all together to make for an above average experience, especially for to-go scenario. If the noodles and chicken could represent services and people in the midst of pandemic then the broth would be like the new administration getting everyone disentangled and hydrated. The shrimp spring rolls are fresh. The peanut sauce and chili hot sauce are proportionately ideal for complete mixing. It is these kind of small details that make for a seamless experience. DRINKS The Thai iced tea is wonderful and again packaged in such a way that it's easy to transport without the spill. After being sick for a week and not having the mental or physical capacity to make my own food, decided to eat some good ol' soupy pho! Ahhh yesss, so comforting especially the one from Pho Nation! I wasn't expecting much from takeout pho, but Pho Nation really outdid itself. I got the rare steak pho and it was the perfect mix of soup and contents. The packaging was impeccable with each part of the soup carefully separated in its own containers and ready to join together by the consumer. The soup was still steamy hot when I opened the container, hot enough to quickly cook my rare steak. The rare steak itself was oh so tender and high quality! As you can tell, I was pleasantly surprised. Pho Nation makes the list for top noodle soup places to hit up for takeout! Yum! I loved my dinner tonight! I got the #1 in medium and it was sooo good! The ratio of noodles to meat was perf -- a solid amount of meat to go with every bite of noodles and spoonful of broth. The broth has such a deep flavor while still being light and didn't leave me feeling bloated or thirsty. I was a little nervous about the noodles when I opened up the takeout container because it was one clump, but as another reviewer mentioned, it disentangled with a little effort. I microwaved it in the broth for a minute and spent another minute with the chopsticks stabbed in just kinda shaking it around in the hot broth. Then I microwaved again for another minute to heat all the way through. I didn't have any mushy noodles as another reviewer experienced. I'm excited this place is so accessible and will def be trying more from their menu soon! read more

Had a really great lunch from Pho Nation on Sunday! I got the vegetarian vermicelli salad, it was super fresh and delicious. Also had crispy scallions or shallots on top which was great. I asked my boyfriend how his vegetarian Pho was and he turned and gave me the thumbs up while shoveling it into his mouth, so I guess that was good too. I ordered the Pho Ga and ouhhh wee was it yummy! The broth honestly tasted so perfect . I also love that they added fried shallots. There were a lot of chicken, noodles, and soup! Def worth the money. This review is for the attitude and not the food. I am in the neighborhood and we order online from Pho Nation whenever we want Pho and have dined in since they re-opened indoor dining. I took my Dad there after our dental appointment today. I asked for the location of the restroom while my husband looked at the menu and the lady behind the counter picked up a sign from the counter and with tight lips she said just to let you know the bathroom is for customers only...waving the sign like a wand, placed it back on the counter and looked away. I told her that we planned to order but my Dad needed to use the restroom. She then responded with a cold face and tone of voice. And when I asked for hot coffee, the young lady taking our order looked back and the same lady responded bluntly something like we never have hot coffee. Whenever we want to buy out, we always pick somewhere nearby to support our neighborhood businesses. This is one of our go to spots for an easy meal during the week when we haven't planned anything for dinner. They do an incredible job and they are so fast! We love it here for the pho soup, rice plates, egg roll appetizers and Thai tea! We usually get the beef and meatball soup. Plus we order extra meatballs! Delicious! Also delicious is the pork rice plate...always another go to. The only thing I wish they had were garlic noodle plates. Okay so last week i witnessed a near third degree murder at this establishment. It was a lazy day and all my usual faves were closed and this was a last resort type of place. I ordered 3 things off the menu, a pho, a ribs-rice plate, and a mango smoothie. It took them 45 minutes for them to get my order, in this given time span I saw other customers come in after me and still get their orders first. I was surprised to the fact because the establishment itself was empty except for one dine in couple. If you have been here before you will have seen that on the entrance to the right there is a mirror that covers the wall. As i waited for my order I saw through the mirror how a patron chocked on her pho (she wasn't making any noises as she gagged) and as she spit what had blocked her passageway out came a strip of what looked like serán wrap. The lady's acquaintance then goes to the counter to report that there was plastic in their food, to which the two guys working the front lamely apologized and took the plastic to the bin. The staff didn't seem phased or bothered by what happened... didn't offer them a voucher or a refund. At this point i'm just upset that my food still hasn't come, that i go to the counter to ask how much longer only to find out the register dude had completely forgotten about me. Anyways I saw him in 10 minutes whip up my order so i'm not sure what went on for me to be kept there for so long. 1. Pho broth tasted like spicy dishwater, just no flavor or anything. Not even the bay leaves or lemon could help. 2. Rice plate and meat was cold. 3. Mago smoothly was sloppy-spit-like consistency. 4. Register guys were mean to the cook in the back. 5. Couldn't enjoy the food after everything I went through and tossed it out for some Hawaiian. 6. New PTSD in eating out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that has a shred of humanity. I went to this place to grab some grub for my pops and I. I ordered #19 and 20. The rice was softer than I would like but I guess some people might like it that way. The grilled chicken was tasty and it wasn't dry at all. Same goes with the grilled pork I got. It was flavorful and delicious but I wish it was just a little bit more chard. My reviews have changed as of today From 5 stars to 1 star and I won't be back. after a few years of consistantly be a loyal customer ordering from them weekly i won't go back. Good Food with Bad inconsistant bad service, cheap penny pincher pound foolish attitude,  doesn't warrent a desire to get their food with other competitors offer good food & offering better service with logical behavior, ... fish sauce isnt charged for salads.  Several issues in last few months.  The service as of late-only proves they really are Not Customer Service Oriented. Several issues  going back 2 months ago, last week, and today. I had given 2 reviews before last year. I rated it 5 stars Google, & Yelp, for food and Avocado Smoothie were fantastic. I usually go there 4 to 5 times a week for a dinner BBQ pork noodle bowl, Fried Egg roll with small salad, Avocado Smoothie Combo meat, chicken, shrimp grill with rice, salad, soup  the best anywhere. Two months ago I wanted a combo plate but didnt want fried chicken wings I ask could i have grilled chicken instead of fried chicken. She Told me No to order a different plate. I told her i wanted combo chicken with egg roll but wanted grilled chicken not fried. She wouldnt substitute grilled chicken pieces for deep fried chicken wings, So I left. I still went there 3 to 5 times a week after for their chicken broth, Smoothies, Grill combo with rice, rice noodle bowls etc. Service is strange, Last week i ask for a small salad i was told they didnt sell it- a week later as i left i saw a tiny menu is taped on front door entrance it shows small salad is $2.95. She lied to me. Often i have ask for extra fish sauce with anything i order they have never charged for a bag, to go containers or sauce. This week I have been there 5 times in 5 days in a row,  for avocado smoothie, a soup bowl, a Grill Combo with rice or just a smoothie. I ask today could i get a small salad to go and 1 Avocado smoothie. She was confused tried to say with rice, meal etc i said just a small salad to go, the one shown on menu on door.  i will drink smoothie here. She gave me a nice salad with 2 tomato slice, carrot shredds, daiko, lettuce, no dressing, no sauce, no fish sauce in the past i was given fish sauce no charge.Now after i paid and tip 15%, sat for a while drank my smoothie, i went back to counter ask for some fish sauce to go,  with my salad, young lady told me i was going to need to pay for fish sauce was it ok? I said no its not oK, since when does a salad not have dressing?. Then the other older lady who speaks little English said it is only salad no fish sauce, and both ladies went on and on i had to pay for it,  i only order side salad it is to be as with noodles not to have sauce. so I retorted just refund salad then they said no they cant do that. I said  then i wont come back again, they said we give it this time but never again?!!!i said fine i won't be back again.  My Can of tea fell off stroller splattered everywhere. Really odd timing.  No service no respect and not consistant charges. you order at counter, pay, then sit down. So tip is paid before service rendered. I came here because it's the closest pho restaurant to me that I haven't tried. Highly expensive for mediocre pho. Their veggies comes in a small zip lock bag with very little basil. When I asked for more, they wanted to charge me for it. I never heard of a pho place that charges for more veggies, especially when they gave you so little.
