How did it take me this long to write a review? The thai food here is incredible. Rich, hearty, nuanced chicken khao soy. Very authentic. The pad see ew is full, tender and addictive. this place just opened up, and seeing the great reviews, I was really excited. I loooove vietnamese food, and I hadn't really seen any place near here that I could go to. I came in on a Sunday afternoon, when it definitely was NOT busy. I ordered a beef banh mi, and was surprised at how long it took to come out. It was also just okay. While it was really filling, the bread wasn't the greatest, and it didn't contribute to the banh mi as much as it could have. Maybe their actual pho is bomb, so maybe when it's colder (or when I'm hungover), I'll stop by again. read more

I like Vietnamese food. I'm okay with other Asian cultures preparing Vietnamese food, as long as it's good. That being said, I have NOT had the pho in this establishment, but what I did have was a Bahn Mi. Let's talk about the good. There's an Asian restaurant that took over Tosa. So we still have an option for Asian food in the neighborhood. There's a parking lot! The establishment is clean. All great. Let's talk about the bad. The service was very slow. I had to go up to the cashier to request silverware, as I was not provided any with my food. The food... okay. So Bahn Mi. If you've ever had Vietnamese food, you know there's some French influence. It's usually served on a baguette. That's kind of important. The bahn mi I received was on a very soft chewy roll. This is not what I was expecting. The meet tasted very "Thai" in flavor, which is not bad, but not what I was expecting. Again, I haven't tried the pho, so maybe that is good? I'm basing this review solely on the bahn mi. I want this place to do well as it's a very affordable option in our neighborhood. read more

First off I'm not a Pho fan. But for some strange reason today i finally noticed it said and Thai Kitchen. Ordered chicken egg rolls and tofu pad Thai. These egg rolls are as good as ones on the east Coast. I have not been able to find good egg rolls in California ever and I've been here a very long time and have searched everywhere. Staff was super sweet and my Pad Thai was superb. Prices are very reasonable. This is my new spot. Promise you on these egg rolls there are like REAL EGG ROLLS. read more

Honestly, this was THE WORST Vietnamese AND Thai food that I've ever eaten. Bun Noodle salad was soggy and meat tasted stale, like it had been sitting there for days. The pho is not good. The fact that I could see Griffith Observatory from the parking lot was the first tell--ain't nothing in these neighborhoods that will stack up for Asian food. The second tell was the fright I received when I flipped through the menu and saw both Vietnamese and Thai dishes side by side. I'm all for international cooperation, but not in my restaurants. Reluctantly, under the judging eye of my friend, I ladled the bland leftover soup into a to go container. I dutifully took it to work, intending to eat it for lunch. My go-to for pho in Los Feliz. The high quality of the food is always consistent, portions are large, and there are lots of tasty options. I've also tried their Thai noodle dishes, and they are fantastic, too. Best of all, I'm always greeted by a smiling face and an enthusiastic "hello!" when I arrive. Gave this place a try because I luvvvv noodles and noodle soup. I ordered the Sukhothai Tom Yum Noodles...omggggg.....soooooo good. Thinking about it again makes my mouth water. First time I tried a noodle soup like this and I wanna let you know to give it a try if you haven't already. I also preferred their Papaya Salad....it's on point. Flavorful and authentic. The food here is consistently excellent. The portions are generous and the flavors and ingredients authentic. My favorite is the Chicken Khao Soi, a very satisfying curry noodle soup. Also terrific, especially if you're fighting a cold or flu is the Tom Yum Chicken soup. The broth is devine. Just ordered a grilled pork banh mi and beef vermicelli bowl. Unfortunately, both were disappointing. The bread was soggy on the banh mi, the pickled veggies had no flavor, and the sauce tasted like Sriracha? We just threw it away. The best part of the vermicelli bowl was the beef which had a good flavor but the egg roll and boiled shrimp were just unappetizing. read more

it's really a Thai restaurant. their menu is predominantly Thai, and the food is pretty good. Their Vietnamese food doesn't have the flavors or subtlety of proper Vietnamese cooking: from the broth in a Pho to the pork or beef in a Banh Mi. The pork for example, instead of the nicely sweet, almost caramelized nuggets of deliciousness were much more gingery, larger, less tender and almost like stew meat. it's not bad, just not Vietnamese. Also, for inauthentic Pho, the price was too high. if they got the broth right, I may spring for the $15, but awesome Pho from more authentic Vietnamese places rarely breaks the $10 mark. I'd go again - but just order the Thai food. read more

As a primarily pho spot- the pho was wonderful! So many flavors and they give real homemade spicy sauce, not just sriracha. The pad Thai here was good but it's not my favorite I've had. However, if you're looking for pho this is definitely the best and most authentic I've had in LA! read more

How can you pass this bread off to customers? Is the pork even marinaded or the veggies actually pickled? I would have been better off at Subway around the corner. I threw away more than I ate. Only reviewing because they have so few reviews and are so good. I arrived starved after being in Nebraska for a whole week, desperate for pho. We had the Vegetarian Pho, Kao Soi and a Vietnamese iced coffee. All of it was perfect! But the Kao Soi was exactly what I was craving. OMFG! I'll come back here for sure. Do not be misguided by the little plaza they are in, they deserve a crowd. read more

4 and 5 star reviews? Are you people serious? This place is SAD! I would suggest that all you positive reviewers get a life and try a REAL Vietnamese restaurant. My wife and I tried this place last week. We ordered chicken egg rolls, which were flavorless, pasty and were served with 1 leaf of wilted lettuce on the plate. We asked for more lettuce and were given a plate of dripping wet lettuce leaves. After we tasted the bland pasty egg rolls we didn't eat them anyway. I had chicken pho and my wife had beef. YUCK!! My soup tasted like dish water and the noodles were over cooked and clumped together. My wife's beef pho was awful also. 4 and 5 stars?? Puhleez. read more

This has become our new spot for Pho near my work. Opens at the perfect time for us, 11am. We're usually having to wait for them outside to open cuz we get there so early. The menu is only one page. Not a lot of offerings, but really if you're going there, it better be for the Pho. The broth tastes great. Seasoned just right. You don't even need to add any of the sauces if you didn't want to. You'd still get a great tasting soup. They have many meat options you can choose from which is great. Their spring rolls and egg rolls are great too. Overall, a great place. My only beef with that place is that the chairs are uncomfortable. They dig into your skin and you find yourself having to reposition yourself often for comfort. Prices are great. Menu is great. Seats suck. Overall, enjoy your Pho people read more

Yes please. Very unassuming but really great! Pho VT is located in a strip mall in Los Feliz, parking lot is pretty full so allow some time to find a spot. We shared 3 fresh rolls with tofu, the peanut sauce was definitely a pleasure! Fresh romaine, mint, and some thinner tofu strips. I had a vermicelli dish with both fried and raw tofu, with a fried spring roll inside the bowl, traditional style. It was so perfect with the crispy onions, crushed peanuts, fresh mint and basil. Incredible dish. I tried the tofu banh mi sandwich and it wasn't as good as the vermicelli! Prices are average, our lunch was about $30 with a nice tip. thng thc !! read more

It pains me to say this because I really really really wanted to like their food, since there isnt a good Vietnamese Pho place that delivers nearby...but their beef combination pho with beef balls, tendon, steak, etc sucked donkeys balls. Im sorry. It just does. There was something fundamentally wrong with the broth. The broth tasted so bad. No amount of hoisin, sriracha, or soy sauce could fix it. Very disappointing.The pho noodles were mushy and clumped together and tightly packed with the hot, steaming meat which created a mess. The spring rolls I ordered tasted ok. The shrimps were big and the peanut sauce tasted good. BUT...the noodles were overcooked. I really wish I could post a better review. I had such high hopes for this place. But that broth ruined my soup experience. Im being generous with my two stars, mainly because the spring rolls weren't that bad. Visited for the first time on 9/2/20. They are doing takeout and limited outside dining...two tables were outside so we dined there. The two staff were very welcoming and friendly and set up our table with condiments, etc., asked if we wanted chopsticks and checked a few times to see if everything was satisfactory. We had the Vietnamese Vermicelli with beef and pork and also had crispy chicken rolls. All dishes were absolutely delicious and were generous portions (especially the crispy chicken rolls)! Definitely recommend and definitely would like to return when I'm in the Los Feliz neighborhood! read more
