We were One of the lucky groups that made a reservation and got a table. Our reservation was for five people. We started at the wine bar and tasted a few things and were then moved to our table which was a table of four with an extra chair squeezed in. Right off the bat, someone had a dirty plate. It was replaced apologized, for they took our drink orders while we peruse the menu. Wait staff answered questions and brought drinks. We placed our orders it seemed to take considerable time we had three entrées and two pizzas. The awkward cutting of the pizza with scissors at the table by staff they did not look very well trained to do it seemed a bit unsanitary food was nothing to write home about and although they were turning people away there were several empty tables for the hour and a half we were there. We had a great experience at Piccolo Buco. Our waitress Makenzie M. was great and attentive; one of the managers, Zachary, also stopped by our table to check in. We ordered the classic red margarita pizza and the yellow tres carne (modified by adding ricotta) and both were delicious. DON'T GO HERE if you have a group of more than four! We had were excited to try the newly opened restaurant. Eight of us planned to do happy hour there. My friend called to try to reserve a table. They said they don't take reservations for parties more than four and they don't pull tables together. When my friend told me that I thought maybe she misunderstood. So we went a little early, just in case, and sure enough, at check in, she said they could put us at two tables but they don't take parties of 8. Overpriced for portion size and asked for side of Alfredo sauce with order which wasn't brought with food. The server came and was reminded about the sauce which took 10 minutes for it to be delivered to the table. The environment is loud especially when you are in the booth next to the reception area. We had a reservation for 6. They were not ready when we arrived. They tried to squish all 6 of us unto 2 small tables pushed together. Pushed together another small table after we insisted. The service is extremely slow. Do not expect anything fast. I got the Truffle Fondue Cappellacci. There is barely anything on the plate. Every single person in my party had more food. I was insulted by how little bit of food for such a big price. Nothing any of us had was amazing, but none of us was blown away by how amazing it was. Definitely not worth the price. There are multiple Italian restaurants around that are far superior. I will say the Yellow Tomato Bisque was the best thing we had, it was delicious. Again, not horrible, but not worth the high price. The atmosphere is very nice, but it got extremely loud by the end of our meal. Could not hear to talk. I will definitely not go back. Tonight, myself and two friends had dinner. To start off, we waited over 15 minutes for a 4:30 reservation. Two of us had been here during their first week of opening. Tonight, I was not impressed. Our server was very good but, clearly the kitchen was behind as it took approximately 35-40 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. We had the squash blossoms which were very tasty. Our entrees consisted of the meatballs, chicken parm, and a margherita pizza. The meatballs were delicious, the chicken parm okay, but the margherita pizza was the worst I've ever had. I cannot believe that this pizza was what brought this concept to the U.S.! The place was packed and reservations are definitely needed. But if you're coming for the much hyped pizza, you may be understandably disappointed. I love Coopers Hawk but after two visits here, I am really not sure that I'll be back. read more

If you're looking for a great pizza that is savory and tastes delicious with plenty of cheese, toppings, and a great tasting crust, ...go somewhere else. Piccolo Bucco is gaslighting everybody using class warfare to believe this pizza is somehow "special" and elite. Not kidding, they have TV's all over displaying the Cooper's Hawk and Luca Issa partnership and go on and on about how wonderful this pizza is. Well, It's not. it's not special, it's essentially a boring dough bomb. It's a flipping 12" ring of puffy bread with a 3" center of flavorless sauce and cheese. Good for them, they figured out how to make sure everyone buys their own $15 lump of cheap bread with next to nothing on it. Their profits much be spectacular because what they give you for $15 a person has nothing of value what-so-flipping-ever. Now, the staff is cool, love the staff. The wine tasting section is killer!!! ...and don't get me started on the Truffle Fondue Cappellacci that has the WOW factor. But that pizza? Well, it's a good thing they have something decent on the menu. The pizza's creator Luca Isso has created the second biggest abomination in the pizza market. (The first being Blaze pizza who still sucks harder at making pizza than Piccolo Bucco, but just barely.) Maybe if Piccolo Buco can figure out how to make a pizza, I mean a real pizza that's oo-ey, gooey, saucey, with rich robust flavor that satisfies and that isn't trying to be the retarded, nose picking, step cousin of pizza, then perhaps I'll enjoy it. Great service but the food is inconsistent. First time I went I really enjoyed the truffle pasta. Second time I went I got the papparadelle and the pasta was hard with several noodles stuck together and inedible. Seems like it's hit or miss with the menu. read more

Almost comically bad service. My wife and I walked in, looking forward to a nice meal at what we thought was a highly rated restaurant. There were two hosts at the desk near the entrance. Both appeared to actually put effort into not acknowledging us (...even though there was not even a single other person to assist). No smile. No "Hi, may I help you?" Just intentionally looking the other way. After it became too awkward for them, the guy asks "do you have a reservation?" while still looking in the opposite direction! Since the restaurant was only 65% full on a Monday night (Jan. 19, 2026), we didn't think it'd be a problem. "No, we're just walking in." He says "just wait and we'll see if we can get you a seat." I'm looking around and there are tons of empty seats. The female host never bothered to say anything at all...nor smile. Just that dull ridiculous I-hate-life expression. Went there for lunch. I normally get eggplant parmigiana whenever I eat in an Italian restaurant. I ordered it and when my server came back informing me they had no eggplants to make the dish. It took a long time for me to change my order but I ordered a pizza with pepperoni. It was very small and 40 percent of it was a puffed up crust. It was ok but in no way worth $19. My wife and friend had dinners and asked about bread. The server informed us that they did not serve bread of any type. What is with the name? Little hole? Whoever named it obviously is not of Italian heritage. I will not go there again I will wait for 4:00 and drive a block south and go to a "real" Italian restaurant, Espositos. read more

What an absolute shi* show. They were out of all but one entrée. Out of rigatoni, I asked to replace it with gnocchi and they were out of that as well. I ordered a pound cake and they brought me a chocolate cake because... you guessed... they ran out of pound cake. Our entrees took upwards of 45 min. There was a ton of staff members passing by us and not once in the 15 minutes we were there did someone ask if we'd been helped, give us a menu, or ask for a drink order. We made a reservation, were seated right away. 30 min went by with tables that came after us being served and we still had not been acknowledged. No server , no water. Nothing. After 35 min (we are very patient people ) I went to the host stand. They apologized and sent someone over. Ordered a Chardonnay , it came and was moscato. No big deal , it happens. A while later ordered another Chardonnay , moscato again. Was obviously not the servers fault at all. Our server was great. The food was ok , wasn't blown away by any means. The service was outstanding! Samantha was our waitress and so knowledgeable. She recommended the arancini balls and they may have been my favorite bite of the night. I had the chicken parm and it was huge. The side of pasta had vodka sauce which is my favorite so I had two of my favorites on one plate! There was an issue with our bill so we got to talk to the manager and he was fantastic. He honestly went above and beyond. I can't wait to go back! There is so much on the menu I can't wait to try! Our party of four couples arrived for Happy Hour and were told at the door that they could only accommodate parties of four per table and they would not seat us together and would not put tables together even if available. So if your group or family is larger than four people don't even try to eat here. Very sad because we are Coopers Hawk Wine Club members and were really looking forward to this new experience. I don't quite understand the 2 star review. Anyway it's a 5 star. Definitely make reservations otherwise you will be waiting a long time. We made reservations so we were seated pretty quickly. From the greeters to the staff( our server Ongie sp?) was so sweet and made excellent recommendations. Management is on point and the chefs definitely express their love for food in every dish. I had the rigatoni alla vodka , my husband had the Calabrian shrimp with rigatoni and we shared the arancini ; all a 10. I use to frequent a restaurant in NY with my brother . The restaurant had the most amazing vodka sauce and I missed eating there with my brother. He has been gone 20 years but I had a tear come to eye because it took me back to those moments at that restaurant. Oh and order the Apple Crostata. If this was my last meal on this earth ; I can die a happy woman. Next time we go we will take photos we just couldn't wait to dig in. read more
