Still a great place for carts dim sum! The service is awesome and attentive. Even if you miss an item on the carts, you can ask your server and they'll make sure you get what you want. We have our usual favorites for dim sum, but it's always good to try new things from the carts also! Don't forget that you can order off the menu for wok items and à la carte as well!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]While we live across the street from this place, it took us about a year to try it since it seemed sad/tacky from the outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Well we finally took the plunge and glad we did! This place is great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They still have the cart service an walk around with fresh yummy plates and come by often and quickly! We have been several times and usually within minutes of seating we always have most of the plates we want! All of the classic plates are delicious and they have some fun variations as well like pumpkin dumplings. Definitely recommend!

This place is still one of my local favourite gems. It's not the best food but decent enough, service is good, and you don't have to wait in a super long line. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Usually they have tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Best of all, they actually have push carts - one of the few places in Vancouver that still do this![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is the way dim sum is meant to be. You sit down, the folks push carts and you pick stuff off by sight. Then you eat right away the fresh food. I noticed this time they have the mango sago dessert with the pineapple "Bo Lo" topping! Love this. It's so good. Sometimes it's not the places with the best food that you love, but the places that are easily accessible and consistently good.

i honestly can't remember the last time i was here, but walking in, it felt strangely comforting to see that the place is still thriving. this used to be the go to spot for dim sum back in the day, the kind of place where weekends meant a full house, line ups out the door, clattering carts, and familiar faces. i even attended two weddings here, so the space already carries its own kind of nostalgia. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the dining hall is still spacious and bright, set up in that unmistakable banquet style. round tables covered in white tablecloths fill the room, many already surrounded by groups chatting, laughing, and sharing plates, family style. the patterned carpet gives the space warmth, and the large windows along one side bring in generous natural light. there's a stage with a big digital screen showing a cozy fireplace scene, and the line of lush green plants creates a soft divider that makes the room feel more inviting. the atmosphere is lively but relaxed[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. the dishes came out fast, one after another, each one generous and fresh. the pork belly and jellyfish made a strong start: the pork glistening with crisp skin and tender layers beneath, the jellyfish cool and lightly chewy, i wanted more. then came the fish maw soup, warm and comforting, with a splash of red vinegar adding a gentle brightness that blended into the broth. the mushrooms and abalone with bok choy arrived glossy and vibrant, the mushrooms tender, the abalone smooth, and the greens still crisp. the chicken with celery felt lighter, with clean flavours and a satisfying crunch from the celery. the two steamed fish were delicate and perfectly cooked, served in a light soy sauce with ginger and green onion that enhanced without overpowering. the sweet and sour pork had that familiar shiny, reddish glaze and a mix of tangy and sweet with bell peppers and pineapple chunks. the free range steamed chicken was tender and subtle, especially good with the minced ginger on the side, which added a bright, sharp lift to each bite. to end, the warm almond paste soup was silky and soothing, lightly sweet and calming after such a full spread. [[HIGHLIGHT]]overall, it felt like rediscovering a place that hasn't lost its rhythm. the food was fresh, the portions generous, and the space still carries that same mix of energy and comfort that made it such a staple years ago. coming back felt a little like stepping into an old memory, and everything tasted just as good as i remembered[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Pink Pearl has been around for ages. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant feels a bit dated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is on par with what you would expect from a dim sum place that's been around for ages. Overall, food was nothing crazy good, but not bad. I remember thinking that the prices seemed a bit high for what was gotten, but overall ok.

We were seated right away! Ample free parking (~10 spots) on the restaurant property made it easy. The dim sums were super juicy and packed with fillings! The pea shoots were fresh and portion was huge! They were sooo delicious.. Service was fast and friendly. If I have to be picky, the xiao long bao was just okay. But everything else was heavenly delicious! I will definitely come back! We were 1000% satisfied!

Pink Pearl came recommended by a local. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came in early afternoon, the edifice was near empty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered Chinese donuts, sausage dumplings, and a shrimp dish. All were OK, extra greasy. Tea was brought to our table upon arrival and was added.

It was a Tuesday morning, and we went to this place for dim sum. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and service was the same since the last time I was there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, the dim sum quality was not good at all. Every dish tasted like they are reheated, and they were a bit bland in taste.

The downsized "Bowl" of soup has shrunk in to just a little cup. (Wtf)

I went there because it was for many years a Sunday routine to go for a great dimsum there. My visit last week was all different because the pushcarts were gone and the menu was new. To sum things up I can say that the prices doubled up and the portions were cut in half. I also can't go there anymore because they don't have the kitchen free of mice or rats -see picture- I rather starve than going there again and my 2 stars are very generous.

Great hidden Gem! The Dim Sum here is amazing. the chicken feet were huge and flavorful. The hao Cao was authentic. Didn't have enough room in my stomach to try everything but will definitely be back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great place to bring your family for weekend brunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was quick and friendly.

Really good dim sum! Vancouver has some of the best, and this spot did not disappoint. We came and got seated immediately which was nice. We got the shumai, mushroom dumplings, scallop dumplings, and sticky rice. The shumai were so plump and juicy -- some of the best I've had. I also loved the mushroom dumplings as they were so unique and flavorful. Definitely a good spot to satisfy that dim sum craving!

Pink Pearl Chinese Seafood Restaurant 1132 East Hasting, Vancouver https://pinkpearlchineseseafoodrestaurant.com/ Haven't been to Pink Pearl for dim sum for a very long time. We had friends in town so we decided to go there. They still have the traditional pushcart for dim sum. Only the regular popular item is available on the pushcart, the other items can be ordered in the order sheet. I do believe this is one of the few Chinese restaurants that still have dim sum items in push carts. Needless to say, I was tickled pink! The food was very good, particularly the chicken feet (if you liked them), one of the best I ever had. Parking is available in their carpark & street parking. Servers are polite, almost all of them speaks English, you will not feel out of place.

Manager is a complete jerk. Too bad because the food is OK and the waiters are nice, but won't be back, unpleasant experience.

First time here. Came to try the Dumplings and the Beef Noodle…read more The Dumplings were pretty good but not as impressive as my Chinese neighbour makes them but thats my bias. The Beef Noodle soup was ok but not as flavourful as Red Beef for example. It lacked a bit of kick. The meat was a little too soft for my taste but its very personal. I did see some other very interesting dishes so I will be back to try those and give a better verdict. Service was good and its a very big place despite what it looks like on the outside.

We ate what would normally be a $100-$125 US meal for under $80 US. It was awesome. We got so much food - it was ridiculous. We ate quite a bit and saved the rest for leftovers. The servers were super nice and sweet. Very family friendly. We found our new go-to spot in Vancouver, B.C. Also, if you give it a little time the parking isn't too bad. Dinasty also stays open a little later than most restaurants in town, making this a viable option when in a pinch for food but running late in the day. Will absolutely go back next time in town. Thanks for having us. Comparable to Dough Zone or Din Tai Fung, somewhere right in between with quality and cost. Everything was yummy.

5 Stars - Excellent Chinese Seafood in Vancouver…read more Dynasty Seafood Restaurant 108-777 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4J7, Canada Visited: August 18, 2026 On a recent trip to Vancouver, I dined here for the first time with several colleagues of mine from Southern California, and we had an excellent experience. This was a spur-of-the-moment find. We didn't have reservations, so we did a quick Google search for a good Chinese restaurant in the area, and Dynasty Seafood Restaurant came highly recommended. When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy and absolutely hustling and bustling. Fortunately, despite not having a reservation, our party of five only waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. We decided to order family style and share everything. Our order included: * Hot & Sour Seafood Soup - $36.99 * Pineapple Sweet & Sour Pork - $44.99 * Prawns & Scallops with Wine - $49.99 * Noodles with Soy Sauce - $32.99 * 5 Tsing Tao beers - $42.50 * 3 orders of Rice - $12.60 Subtotal: $220.06 CAD GST: $11.00 Liquor Tax: $4.25 Total: $235.31 CAD Everything we ordered was very good, but the sweet and sour pork was outstanding. I honestly would have been perfectly happy having an entire order of that as my meal. It was easily one of my favorite dishes of the evening. The hot and sour seafood soup was another highlight. It was loaded with seafood, including chunks of lobster, scallops, and shrimp, and had excellent flavor. I would definitely order that again as well. The prawns and scallops and the noodle dish were also very good, and sharing everything family style gave us a chance to try a nice variety. The service was very good and attentive throughout the meal, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. The restaurant itself was very clean and had more of an upscale atmosphere, yet I thought the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. This turned out to be a great spur-of-the-moment choice. Five stars from me, and if I'm ever back in this part of Vancouver, I would definitely return to Dynasty Seafood Restaurant.

I went with my son (pre cruise embarkation) and we ordered the crab fried with garlic on top of crispy sticky rice. It was da bomb. We had trouble finishing it.
