Our meal at Pinnacle Grill was the worst I've ever had. I had a BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado). Pretty difficult to mess up, right? The bacon was totally undercooked (i.e. raw). When I pointed it out to the server, he took it back to the kitchen, then brought it back burnt. Our server was a no-show during the rest of the meal. No one asked to refill our drinks. No one checked on our meal. I had to flag someone down just to get our check. I am not from Scottsdale, but if I was, I would NEVER RETURN to Pinnacle Grill. BTW: please do not give me the stock response that you give everyone else's reviews. We booked Pinnacle Grille for a luncheon for about ~45 people in March. I work down the road, so this is our go-to spot for lunch. Everyone loves the fries, whether the steak fries, skinny fries, truffle fries, or sweet potato fries. I've never had a bad burger or sandwich. My favorites are the Bleu cheese burger, club sandwich, and Pinnacle chicken as a wrap. The club is loaded with meat and very tasty aioli. Dawn, the manager, has been there a while and keeps everything running. We've held a few work events on the patio and they have always been accommodating. Close by our house so we eat at Pinnacle Grille often. I can honestly say, we have never had a bad meal there. Highly recommend, great food.

The food was terrible we had beef stroganoff​ the meat was fatty and grizzly we only got two or three pieces of meat in each of our orders so I guess that was a good thing the service was non-existent she never came back to refill our Waters to ask if we wanted to get another drink or to refill our coffee . We complained about the food but all she did was just look at us and that was it . I don't think she wanted to work that day because we would talk to her and she would just walk away . It is Wednesday night at 6:30. We get seated and 30 minutes no wait staff comes to take our drink order or food order . We go to the hostess to ask if we have a waiter and she send someone to take our drink order. 15 minutes later nothing no one comes by to take our order. We go up to the hostess again and she finally takes our order. Still don't know who our waiter is and we have been here for 48 minutes. Never had this bad of a service from them in the past. Had a marvelous birthday lunch with a friend. It was too cool to sit outside even with heaters. We took a small booth and got our beverages. After reviewing the menu I decided on Pepita crusted chicken spinach wrap with sweet potato fries. My friend ordered her standard Pinnacle Chicken sandwich on pita with coleslaw. The restaurant had just opened for lunch while a steady steam of customers came in. Our food arrived and looked wonderful. Both the sandwich and wrap had nice flavor and cooked well. The servers are very attentive filling up water and beverage glasses. Since we were celebrating my birthday, there is a nice surprise. Some servers and the hostess come to the table with a comp dessert of your choice and an exploding sparkler. They light the sparkler and sing the birthday song. Lovely! An A+ experience! Came here for dinner with the family and we all enjoyed our meal. I got a margarita which was nicely salted and standard but delicious. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. I opted for low carb sides and thoroughly enjoyed the broccolini and side salad which was fresh and well dressed. It's nothing spectacular but it was a good and filling meal. I immediately called and the woman argued with me that I had just called and changed my reservation, which I had not... and then she kept talking down to me and calling me ma'am which I found condescending, and so I kept saying what my name was and that it was not "ma'am". We've been to Pinnacle Grille a couple of times now, once for dinner, another visit for lunch and have been pleased with the service and quality of food. So far I've had the Shrimp Cocktail and Roasted Brussel Sprouts from the app menu. Both great starters and shareable. I've had the Cubano sandwich with skinny fries, which hit the spot, and have also had the Peanut Butter Burger which, with a little extra Peanut Butter Aioli, was truly heaven in my mouth. Turns out that the Peanut Butter Aioli is made with Skrewball peanut butter whiskey. I loved it. Super good and unique. They've got a great wine list and prices are quite reasonable as well. I eat here frequently and usually Tim or Dawn wait on us and they are fantastic as is the food. About 6-8 weeks ago unbeknown to me, when I got up to leave and went to put my wallet in my shorts it must of fell out in the booth I was sitting in when I got up. I had no idea until the next day my wallet was missing. I called down and sure enough they had it. The moral of this review is great food, great people, and great service. I'll be back many more times. Thank you to all the employees at Pinnacle Grill. Sorry it took so long to leave the review. I think I've ate there 2 more times since the wallet incident. I'd waited over an hour for a hamburger two years ago. Arrived today at 1:05. Waited 20 minutes to give order at 1:25 (fish and chips-5 minutes in deep frier). Placed a $20 bill on table and left, without meal, at 1:46. At this time, very few patrons were at the restaurant. Mediocre food and very slow/poor service. I'd really like to talk to the other patrons that gave this place five stars. For example, I cannot see Pinnacle Peak from this restaurant or the patio. I'm leaving this review because the cook is a jerk. I overheard him frustrated with the hostess when HE messed up my order. Twice. I got a Cali burger and all it had on it was lettuce and onion. No aioli, mushrooms, tomato or avocado. And I had to send it back twice because the first remake only had avocado added. She had to tell him to look at the ticket - which was right, I saw my receipt. I'm leaving four stars because the manager handled it right and has them completely remake my order and take it off my ticket, so thank you. But I hope the worker shortage isn't forcing you to keep this jerk in the kitchen because he's not worth it. I won't be back to spend $40 on takeout and not be able trust that my order is even correct. Dining in - food is very good and manager is wonderful however. Adding to this review that it's been another year and there are still a series of bad customer service events. Some of the servers are kind, hardworking, etc. But I've been hung up on hold for an order or ignored more times than I can count. What is it with this crew of staff? Please give your money to somewhere different. Their staff is beyond rude, and when you are paying over $100 you would expect to not be insulted by the staff. The problem wasn't even the food. We got many different dishes, Calamari, Crab Cakes, Steaks, ect. The food wasn't anything special especially for the price and our order was messed up multiple times. However, our server was friendly, the atmosphere was nice and overall we had a good dinner. The main problem was the severe attitude from the staff. When we were walking out of the restaurant, the workers (at least 8 of them) were sitting outside, smoking, on a break. I recognized a few busboys and the blonde hostesses. My Mom was pointing out how dark it was outside, as we don't live in this part of town and it was pitch black outside. A busboy with longer blonde hair pointed towards her, and claimed "Did you hear that woman? Is she stoned?" loudly and the group of workers started laughing. My Mom just wanted to have a nice dinner and was extremely embarrassed and upset. Safe to say, we are NEVER giving this place our business again, as we felt very uncomfortable. Maybe you should have workers who don't feel the need to judge others at your restaurant. To the workers: you should not talk about customers that way. If you go around hurting other's feelings, you're going to lose business. We have alerted management about this issue. What a crazy world we live in now that some feel the need to take out their insecurities on others, especially ones that are 30+ years older than them and are paying their restaurant business. We've been here a couple times now. The first time we joined a group of around 20 people and mostly had appetizers and drinks. The appetizers were quite good, and the drink selection was more than adequate. More recently we came here for dinner, and the experience was pretty average. Our server was not the most attentive, only checked on us once after getting our order, and we had to flag down one of the bussers to get a drink refill. The food was ok. I had the french dip and it was so-so, not terrible, just not great. My wife had the steak and frites. The frites were very good, but the steak was nothing to write home about.
