Just had one of the best poke bowls ever! Absolutely delicious! The poke bowl was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and packed with high-quality ingredients. Every bite was perfectly balanced, from the fresh fish to the crisp toppings and delicious sauces. What made the experience even better was the outstanding customer service. Alex, the owner, he was so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely kind. The restaurant is also very clean, inviting, and a great spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back soon--especially since it's right down the street from my house!

The poke bowls here are always so good. Everything is so fresh, the poke, the toppings. Their house sauce is yummy too. Today I got half white rice and half mixed greens for my base and it was perfect. The guy who is always mixing the bowls up for me is so nice! Keep up the great work! See you soon.

*Delayed post from May '25 Stopped in for a quick and easy to-go dinner around 8:30pm that did not disappoint. My visit lasted less than five minutes and the server/preparer was very kind. The location is very convenient for people in the area around McCambridge Park. It's on the corner of a strip mall with a laundromat, car wash and dry cleaners. There's plenty of indoor seating with paintings on the walls and all over the windows. Food wise, I appreciate the customization of the poke bowls, with plenty of cold and tasty topping options to choose from. I ordered a small protein bowl with spicy tuna and shrimp. The shrimp had a good texture that wasn't overcooked or rubbery, and came covered in a mayo sauce. The spicy tuna had a bite to it, which I appreciated since it can easily become mushy if not stored properly. The bowl also came with a scoop of crab meat, either regular or spicy, and you can choose your base of rice, mixed greens, or a mix of both. I love how many different sauces they offer as a topping, as well as fresh vegetables. To finish off the bowls, they also have sesame seeds and other crunchy options like peanuts and fried noodles. I recommend the ponzu sauce for a tangy, yet balanced experience.

I was going through the area and was looking for a poke bowl restaurant. I saw the positive reviews on this place and decided to try it out. I got a medium bowl for $18.99. It comes with three proteins. For my base I chose white rice. My other choices were brown rice and/or salad. I paid $1.50 extra for a scoop of avocado, which made my bowl over $20.00. The portions were big and I was surprised the big scoops of protein I got. Everything tasted fresh. I chose their spicy house sauce. Everything tasted very good. The place is very clean, the employee was nice. The place is a bit small, but there are a few tables to sit down and you can put them together if you have a group of six. I would recommend this place and would stop by when in the area again.

This was so delicious!! I got a size small and it was very well portioned. The ingredients were good quality and a large variety available. You can order your bowl and it isn't charged by the amount of additional toppings aside from extra protein or avocado. The person who prepared my bowl was very patient while I was really slow ordering haha. Can be a very quick to-go meal or there is plenty of seating.

The food here is amazing! I usually have to venture out of Burbank to get good poké but this place makes me stay put. I love coming here too because the service feels like a friend is serving me their finest dishes and making sure everything tastes exceptional. The staff here is chill and welcoming, which makes for a positive experience. Good vibes always makes for a great time in any dining experience. FAT POKE BOWLS, really enjoyed my bowl. Create your own, I got the medium with 4 protein plus you can get crab salad making it 4. Alot of their fish is wild caught and they have it labeled wild and farm which I like. Also, their selection of beverage was great because some were unsweetened for the non-sugar likers. Owner was super friendly and the facility was clean. Must try if you're looking for fresh, yummy, poke bowls!

I love trying new poke spots and had high hopes for this since it seemed authentic Hawaiian. It looks super clean and new inside. I don't think there was anything special about this place, their prices were on par with other spots, but their fish selection didn't seem as fresh and there weren't any marinated specials. Their spicy tuna looked really watery, and I usually get that but it didn't look right. I got the salmon, albacore, and tuna with a ponzu citrus sauce and house drizzle. The sauces weren't mixed with the fish it was just drizzled on top of everything so I felt like the fish didn't soak in any sauce, it just sunk to the bottom with the rice. The house drizzle kind of just tasted like mayo.

Wow where do I start. Firsts off our family is from Big Island & Oahu. We have been searching for fresh & authentic poké in the area and this did it for us The fish was extremely fresh and the sauces were not overpowering what's so ever. I got the salmon, hawaiian tuna, and regular tuna. They loaded the bowls UP and was extremely generous with the servings which is something I see rarely now at other poke joints. Their toppings (veggies) are also fresh. The prices on the menu I would say is 100% worth it for this quality. Servers/the guys in the back also helped us with any questions we had which we appreciate so much as well. Thank you again and we will be coming back.

Went here the other night after the gym and the girl that helped us was super cheerful, kind and attentive. Big portions! We each got a medium bowl and adding the dry crunchy topping with eel sauce and spicy mayo was delicious. It's super close by to us, glad we have a walkable poke place now. Only 4 stars because the inside could use some ambiance or a vibe, its very clean but needs character. Again staff and food was wonderful read more

The poke bowls were pretty decent. They gave us a lot of rice, which I wasn't able to finish. My bowl included salmon, crab, and a bunch of toppings. I honestly enjoyed my bowl and the fish was pretty soft and tasted decently fresh. The inside was clean and service was nice. The only con is that they don't offer water cups, which was a bit surprising. Besides that, good, decent bowls. read more

Their fish is great. And the ingredients all tasted pretty good as well. They put way too much rice, but that's not that terrible. I do wish they offered pineapple, as that's one of my favorite toppings. I decided to try this place because of their sushi slider. It's not bad, but like the poke bowl, there's too much rice. The crispy rice on top and bottom should be thinner. Still, all in all a decent poke place in a crowded field. read more

First time eating here and will definitely be back! Service is a little slow as they only had one person preparing the bowls. There is a variety of options to choose from and everything tasted so fresh. The portions are great and they have lots of toppings and sauces. Updated my review and knocked down a few stars for the snarky reply. I was actually being generous before. Anyway maybe showcase photos of the fish on its own and let them judge for themselves. No lie, I definitely got gas station sushi vibes as soon as I walked in. I should've turned around as soon as I saw the neon tuna and obviously dyed salmon. But I made the mistake of looking past it and let my hunger and bogus yelp reviews get the best of me. Never again, there's better poke joints nearby. Lol, what profanity? Also all of your poke shots are bowls slathered in sauce. Let's see unadulterated and clear shots of the fish on their own. Anyone who goes to quality poke places can tell on sight when something's up. Just my two cents read more

I see some people talk about portion sizes but it's truly not like that i had other pokes but the portions are exactly the same as others. I come here once a week since I tried it couple months ago. This place is pretty quiet and chill inside. The service is nice too every time I go here. What I really care about, though, is the food. It's probably my favorite poke spot in the area. I've gone when it opens, during the middle of the day, and at closing, and every time it was fresh and tasty. Their house sauce is amazing and adds a nice kick to the food. As much as I want to try their chicken bowl, I just can't stop getting the poke. Maybe one day I'll be able to switch it up, but that day hasn't come just yet. 10/10 will go again and again. read more

A fresh, clean, and cute local poke shop! The fish is very fresh, and the service was wonderful. You have a lot of different options for sauces and toppings, so you can make whatever your heart wants. I do wish they had a few more veggie options, like pickled daikon, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, etc, but overall, Poke Loulu is delicious and satisfies that sushi/poke craving! read more

I was surprised to find this opened close to home, and had to try it out. The inside is very clean, organized, and the staff is extremely friendly. I got the small poke bowl with salmon and ahi tuna. The poke was very good, especially for the price. The tuna wasn't "fishy" like poor quality pieces can be, but smooth. I enjoyed the citrus ponzu and eel sauce sprinkled on top. It complemented the fish but the bowl wasn't soaked in it. I loved that tofu was one of the free toppings! The portion size was good, and I'm definitely going back. read more

Very small portions. They are so stingy even with the greens (salad base) I can count the leaves with my fingers. Small (not full) scoops of protein. Not much options for toppings. No sesame oil available. I paid $18 +tip for a little salad. A little disappointed since I had good expectations and the location is close to where I work. Might try them again, I might've come on an off day. And I thought since they are new they will be generous with the serving (it terms of salad/toppings). read more

I would happily come back because of Fujiya's unique sushi rolls, but the staff's personality is such a winner. They're truly welcoming & take great pride + pleasure in what they do. I don't blame them. Fujiya is a cool, hip, & swanky (in the best possible way) Izakaya, but it's also not pretentious. The staff here want you to have a lovely dining experience with some innovative takes on some classic sushi rolls.

A couple of pointers for the AYCE sushi available here is that they do serve full-size portions when it comes to the sushi rolls so do not expect a half portion of the roll so beware on how many you order. The quality on the fish with the carpaccio's is top-tier, though I will say so myself we ordered a variety from the salmon to the tuna and these were top-tier fish, rolls were pretty good too. We ordered a variety of appetizers. A cucumber salad is on point broiled mussels were pretty good. My mom ordered those, but I didn't try them, but she liked them have garlic chili edamame. It's $39.99 per person for AYCE if you're coming during lunch special hours which is from 11 AM to 3 PM it is $33.99 per person with limited options.

The soft shell crab was easily the best part of the combo, although that's admittedly a pretty low bar. The hand roll and baked crab pieces were passable. The California roll was more akin to something you'd find in a Ralph's grocery store sushi section than at an actual sushi restaurant. I also had the unfortunate experience of trying the salmon skin roll. The salmon skin may as well have been jerky. It didn't have that light crispness, but was extremely tough and not enjoyable at all. Definitely would pass on that. For basically $30 for this combo, I honestly think you're better off going to an actual sushi restaurant like Aikan. SushiStop is probably fine if you just want quick, cheap sushi, but if you're looking for a meal you'll genuinely enjoy, I'd probably recommend going elsewhere.

Also, if you ever have to go to the urgent care off Pass Avenue, one silver lining is that Handel's is *literally* right next-door to the urgent care! If there's a long wait, take advantage of it, and pop next door for a scoop of ice cream or a banana split! Or if you have a child who needs some bribing or a post-appointment reward, Handel's can handle that for you! Parking is plentiful, but keep in mind that there is a Starbucks and a 24-hour Vons in the same parking lot, so certain times of day will be busier than others, and some people are bad at heeding the one-way arrows down most of the rows.
