Not sure if I'll be coming back. The chicken is fairly decent although we were supposed to have dipping sauce at our table which didn't happen until we asked. My boyfriend asked one of the bartenders to change just one TVs to the World Series so we could watch..the response was "I don't have time for that now". The bartender wasn't busy serving anyone, he just didn't care to leave his conversation with someone. Bad customer service. The chicken here is excellent. I got the spicy chicken but it wasn't as spicy as I had hoped. The sides were good but not particularly special. You can park in the parking garage in the same building and get validated in the restaurants. There is a bar that serves basic alcoholic drinks. The 1 star is for the unprofessionalism, we were asked to moved tables today after we just finished eating since the server did not want to move tables for a bigger group. Bruh this chicken slapped. I got the spicy chicken, a very sweet buffalo style spicy but it was really good, 10/10. And very crispy too. Tried this place for the 1st time today. I ordered and paid online and my husband went to pick it up. Once he returned home, I noticed the order was incomplete. He went back but was met by a rude employee ( short older black guy) who appeared irritated that he was there and was visibly annoyed because he was ready to leave. Although it was closing time for them, this was an employees error. This place is within walking distance to where we live but after this experience, we will never return. Just opened American-Japanese fusion place famous for their chicken. Nice venue and full bar. Mark, our bar tender, was awesome. Food was spectacular. Tasty and fresh. Some people said it was pricey, but I think the food and price for location was fantastic! I got the island grilled chicken with the Ponko rice and sweet potato's. Live music was also playing. We went on Saturday after riding around Ponce and Krog. Our table of 4 went up to the register to order and the cashier was very friendly in helping us since it was our first time. I got the 5 piece Ponko Chicken meal with pickles and sweet fries which was $1 extra. I got it with OG sauce and asked for the spicy on the side. Chicken tenders soggy. Not sure what the big deal is for this place. The food is only so-so so don't get your hopes up too high. Don't know how they won best of anything. I love this place!!! I was able to get takeout food here during quarantine and stopped to say hello (from a safe distance) to Mark the bartender. He remembered my name from when I had visited two months back before COVID. The food is AMAZING!! You have to get the chicken the OG style with the OG sauce.
