We've visited Poppy's for lunch around 2pm on Monday. Tried the lamb/beef gyro with fries as well as tiramisu and espresso. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Seriously impressive. Will be back! read more

The early dining menu at Poppy's that goes before 5:30 is some of the best food and deals you can get in town. Their food is to die for.

The food is good. It is not over all exceptional for the amount of business they get but some appetizers could be done better. I will say the lasagna is the best thing on the menu and what I get all the time I go there. It also has a nice ambiance and it is worth to eat there instead of delivery. read more

I really don't get it. The original Ponte Vedra Poppy's is great. The one on 210 has mediocre food and our tablecloth had oil and spinach on it when we arrived. Don't have white linen tablecloths, then leave dirty ones in between customers. Gross! And very, very expensive. Very disappointed. read more

We went there for the first time last night . First of all the food was delicious , atmosphere very nice. The service had a lot to be desired Our server passed out table 10 times and never once ask if we needed anything or even how the food was . I had to ask her three times for our check . All I can say is "WOW!!!" We went for the first time last night with friends & we were blown away! Being Italian ourselves, eating sauce out can be iffy but I ended up getting the chicken parmigiana, which I never order out & it was absolutely amazing! The flavor was just like our own. My husband had the shrimp & scallops & devoured it. The portions are very generous that I had to bring it home for another meal. The garlic bread & bruschetta was phenomenal!! I can't wait to go back! Oh & our server, Michael was so nice, funny & terrific!! Thank you Michael. We will definitely ask for you on our return! Great job to ALL!! Best of luck always!! Absolutely delicious!! We celebrated a birthday at Poppy's tonight and ordered the rigatoni alla vodka, chicken parmigiana, and the bruschetta app and everything came out perfect! We are from the northeast and good Italian has been hard to come by but tonight that changed for us! This meal rivaled meals we could get in NJ! And it's 5 minutes away, can't get any better! I was excited to finally make it over to this much talked new restaurant. We went for the "early bird" dining, but ended up splitting a Greek salad and Shrimp scampi because early birds were only pasta dishes. The salad consisted mainly of lettuce, with 3 small slices tomatoes, 8 kalamata olives, a few red onions, a sprinkling of feta and 2 pepperocinis. Way over priced at $15. The scampi was ok, didn't really like the sauce. I ordered minestrone, they brought pasta fagioli. Servers were friendly, But never told us about the specials. Complimentary Garlic bread was very good. 1 salad, 1 entree and 1 glass of wine was all we had. I know everything is getting expensive, just expected to like it more than I did for $70. read more

First time coming to poppy's and it did not disappoint. We made it just after 5:30 on a Thursday and they were already on a wait! We found a seat at the bar and ended up eating there. Phil was amazing! Along with mikayla(?) We just missed the early bird special but $10 house wine on the regular menu was great. We started with the fried raviolis and they were good, I loved the creamy sauce it came with for dipping. I got the minestrone and penne vodka and it was wonderful! My aunt got the pasta Fagoli and carbonara and it was also great! Will definitely be back and so glad to have it close to home. read more

Poppy's just opened on 210 in St Augustine so i decided to try it. I ordered a caprese salad and a side of meatballs. The caprese had fresh mozzarella, ripe red tomatoes and arugula with balsamic glaze and pesto on top.. it was fresh and delicious! A side of meatballs (4) with fresh tomato sauce that had slivers of fresh garlic in the sauce. It was a perfect sauce. The meatballs were tender, juicy, nice size and very tasty! What a great place. The best... they have a drive thru. This is a plus! Staff at window very pleasant. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!!! read more

Great little place that we found just driving the new neighborhood. Food is really good, as is the atmosphere. A couple of small things that prevent me from giving it five stars, first are the house wines. They are all, kind of water down and sweet tasting, even the Chianti. Secondly, what's up with the grated Parmesan instead of fresh? Third, some of their sauces are a touch on the bland side, they could kick up the spice level a bit, but I guess that's what red peppers are for. I will be going back and eating there often, hopefully they improve the house wines. read more

Pricing is ridiculous. almost $8 for a bud light bottle and a house wine that was $11 a glass. I met some friend there for a drink at the bar and was shocked when with tip I was around $10 a beer. I wouldn't even try the food based on the price gouging on drinks. read more
