Some hungry wet haired swimmers mowing down on Porky's.
Hank W.

This crew got hungry while swimming! Then, thanks to Porky's on 7th and Xiemeno (the BEST PIZZA in LB!) we picked up 10 pizzas and everybody had a slice and it was bom!! If you call ahead it makes it sooo easy, just cruise in, pay up, cruise out with Pizza Boxes loaded up with the goods! Thank you Jake and the friendly crew at Porky's for another GREAT sesh with your awesome pizzas!

I made a phone order, the kid over the phone was very polite and took my order with attention to detail. The food was ready in 30 minutes when we got home everything was still hot and ready to enjoy. The quality, taste is still the same after I tried Porky's for the first time. I love how they make sure the pizza's are loaded, other pizza places don't do that. We have tried everything and it's all so good!

Great pizza! Service is always fast and friendly. Always hot, always fresh. Delicious, quality ingredients. Great staff! Friendly atmosphere!

This is a pick up / order online kind of place, just a counter, no seating. Ordered their $19.99 XL one ingredient pizza and an order of garlic knots. Pizzas are made to order and in 15 mins my pizza and knots were taken to my car in the parking lot. The pizza was good and so were the garlic knots. Would visit again when in the area.

I love the pizza here and the service is always quick and friendly. For me, I love to get the Parmesan crust and the pizza cooked well done. The Atlantic location doesn't have a place for dining inside but the inside is nice and has a lot of history hanging on the walls.

$30.99 for 2xl is not the price they charge !!!! Pay attention and be careful !!!
Julie M.

Ok... so, online they carry specials... perfect ! But when you call and ask for their specials, the ad states 2 XL pizzas for $30.99 so perfect, let's do that ..... but then they say the ad is wrong by $3.99.... ok? So why have you not fixed it ??? Next....$5 delivery fee! Ok cool, don't need to tip the driver ?.... WRONG AGAIN!!! That $5 goes to the company .... the tip is separate .... So for two pizzas at their advertised price with a $5 tip I end up paying $51.49.... how in the hell did it go up $21+. This is beyond ridiculous. Be transparent and do what you have to do!!!!!! And stop adding on hidden charges!!!!!

Pizza Box on top of trash can still in tact.

I came here with 2 other gals cuz we were craving pizza and salad. This place is minutes away from my house and I hadn't tried it so we ordered a pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and olives and a Caesar's salad. The salad was great. Hard to mess that up. But the pizza dough was undercooked, the cheese barely melted and the mushrooms were just layered on top of the pizza not baked in. Who does that? Not sure they were even washed cuz they looked dirty and old. All of us got sick! Perhaps from the uncooked pizza dough or the mushrooms. We couldn't figure it out. We never ate the pizza. Here it is the next day sitting on top of my trash can. It' was a sad day. The service was good aka the guy who was making the pizza was nice but Skip this place and go elsewhere.

We'd be happy to come down again in traffic, because it's absolutely worth the drive here. Some find the pizza sizes small or the prices high in comparison to your average pizza joint - but your average, everyday pizza place in California is just...ew. Their crust is very thin, Neapolitan style in a brick oven, beautiful and a little chewy, slightly-charred from the brick oven. Amazing texture. Traditionalists, so we just got the Margherita and Bianco, adding some mushrooms and a drizzle of truffle. SOO good. We also tried the fried zucchini blossoms, which were very light and not oily at all. Caesar salad was very delicious and fresh, also had the octopus, which was perfectly grilled and like eating steak. To finish, we had some amazing coffee with tiramisu. Wow. Not usually a fan, but their tiramisu was super light, not overly sweet, and super good. Thanks to our wonderful server, Diana ! Super friendly and everything came out quickly. Eveything is delicate, fresh, lovely, and makes you feel like you're in Italy. Can't wait to be back. Tutto bene, grazie!

Deep Dish pizza is one of my fave things to eat, but I don't find places that serve it or at least do it well. I grew up eating deep dish pizza out here on the west coast, so I'm more used to and like the west coast style, as opposed to the true Chicago style where they cut their thin crust pizzas in little squares. It's a pie, cut it in triangles like a pie! They use too much cornmeal in the crust too, but that's just me. I first had deep dish stuffed pizza at Zachary's in Berkeley, so I kinda compare everything else to that. It was another long day of work and the crew just wanted to stay at the hotel and have me go out and get them some of this deep dish pizza. Ok, I'll keep the crew happy. I go in and order and it's very nice inside. Kinda a little upscale over some pizza parlor joint. I get 2 medium Chicago Classic, I think that was what it was called. Mostly it was sausage, green pepper, onions and mushrooms and lots of cheese. They had an option of half baked, so I got that cause I wanted the pizza hot and crispy and we had a full kitchen back in my room, plus all the plates and stuff. We serve it and I gotta say this is some dang good deep dish pizza. I hate place where they say deep dish, but what it ends up being is deep crust pizza with thin toppings! This was filled nice and I really liked the crust. The crew said we like to eat that this place again.

Mid week when we arrived which wasn't too crazy. There was no one on the patio which was nice as it gave us first choice for a seat...lol... Everyone was seating inside. The place itself isn't that big. You have the bar area with some bar seating. Then there's a couple of tables inside and of course the patio which is along the sidewalk. Personally I prefer sitting outside for the people watching. The staff were all amazing and very friendly. Places like that make the experiences more enjoyable. You want someone who is friendly and respectful. As we were there early, we grabbed one of the beer which they have quite a good selection on tap. There's also wine if you're not into beer. When it came time to grab some food, we were able to get a table inside. Majority of the breweries tends to serve pretty much the same things, pizza sandwiches and salads. No complaints here. Simple food goes a long way. There were a couple of us so we grabbed a few things to share. Started off with the pretzel balls with cheese dip and honey mustard and the chips with queso cheese dip. Pretzel was tasty and outdid the queso dip. Pizzas of course which were pretty big in sizes. A couple of the pizzas and a salad did four of us with leftovers. Their Hawaiian pizza was quite tasty and was finished. We also ordered one of the mushroom pizzas with an egg. It was tasty but a little on the salty side. The arugula salad was delicious. Simple but tasty. And then there was ham pizza I believe with onions and peppercini. That was also a favorite of the night. Overall, the place was quite fun. Not a big brewery and more intimate. The crowd was great and as most places are very kid and family friendly. There was couple of kids when we arrived. Service was great. Food and drinks were enjoyed and the service and staff were excellent. Street parking available along the front but also along the neighborhood.

We ordered the veggie pizza, the pepperoni pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza, lemon pepper wings, and hot wings, and the potato wedges. The cheese is so good, and they do not skimp. The BBQ chicken pizza was good but we all thought it needed more BBQ sauce. The wings were crunchy and full of flavor! The wedges were cut to a decent size, seasoned well and crunchy on the outside. Their ranch is also great, I am not sure if it's made in house but it tastes like it is. The staff were incredible accommodating, super sweet, and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered a half and half pizza online for pickup and spent over $30 for pizza and a 4oz container of ranch. They told us it would be about 20min when we ordered so we got ready and left. We got there probably 15min after we ordered and grabbed two cokes while we waited. I tried to pay with cash and was told he might not have change to give me. I said that was ok even though it's pretty lame that you don't keep change in your register. He happened to find a very large coin bag and made me change. We were sitting right at the front and you couldn't miss us. They asked us a few times what our name for the order was and we told them the same thing every time. Finally after about 10 min they asked us for the 3rd time what our name was and then walked away. We could hear someone say "the order for Kymmy didn't leave they are here" or something along those lines. We kind of just looked at each other. The guy that rang us up came over and said, "sorry something happened to your pizza it'll be another 20min or so". At this point we had already been waiting about 15 min for the pizza. So we said ok because we were starving. One of the employees asked us if we drank wine we said no we didn't and that's why we were drinking cokes. He said, "ohh, okayyyy..." and gave us a very judgmental look. Like sir, you don't know why we aren't drinking. We also kind of figured he wanted to give us a few beverage for the mix up. But that was the end of it. We heard someone say our name and we asked if ours was ready and one girl acted like we were being impatient while waiting. Like we didn't just wait over a half hour for food. Finally our pizza was done after a total of 40 min and there was very minimal apology for the delay. We took it back to our hotel and we were so excited it smelled so amazing and it looked so good. I cannot tell you how disappointed we were when we took our first few bites. It was not that great. We had ordered pepperoni and the veggie pizza. We ate half of it because we were starving and very quickly regretted it. It made both of us super sick on top of everything else Needless to say we won't be back here and won't be recommending this place either

Overall, it was solid--sauce had good flavor, cheese was decent, and the dough was nice. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely a respectable slice. My only issue was the balance--there was a bit too much cheese for the crust, so even folding it New York-style, it didn't hold up well and kind of fell apart. A little more crisp on the bottom would've made a big difference. I also tried their Sicilian grandma-style focaccia pizza, and honestly, that was a huge letdown. It had this dusty, raw flour taste right away, was dry and spongy, and way overpowered with Parmesan. It just didn't come together at all--pretty disappointing, especially for the price. I've had frozen pizza that tasted better. Ended up just picking at the cheese to salvage something. On the plus side, the service was friendly and the space itself is chill--nice casual vibe with a few tables inside and outside to hang out. All in all, the regular slice was decent, but the focaccia pizza really missed the mark for me. Probably not a spot I'd go back to.
