Nice to have another Sharetea nearby to fulfill our boba tea cravings. The parking situation in this strip mall is not good at peak hours. So if you decide to swing by during lunch hours, for example, for a quick drink you may have difficulties finding parking. The drinks here are just as good as the Convoy location. Servers are friendly and this location seems to be appropriately staffed every time we've visited. This franchise is not owned by the same person that owns the Convoy locay. At the Convoy location, the owner / manager seems to staff them at barebones minimum. I've gone to the Convoy location, stood in a line almost out the door and there's only been two workers and at times only one! Talk about overworked and underpaid. I feel really bad for the employees at the Convoy location, especially because they are super nice. Anyways, back to the Linda Vista location... there's plenty of seating here. Sharetea is one of my favorite places to get boba! There are two locations nearby, but this location definitely tops!! The service is quick and the my go to drink (green milk tea with boba and sometimes pudding) always taste amazing. My boyfriends go to drink is a mango green tea with extra mango and he loves it as well from this location. Kiwi fruit tea with Aiyu Jelly, Wintermelon with Lemon juice, Hawaii fruit tea, Brewed tea, Cocoa Lover Fresh milk, Hokkaido pearl which is toffee and caramel. I do not mind an ice and tasty milk tea from time to time and the simpler the better for this gent. I order mine with no boba and usually with a black tea. Therefore I ordered the Classic Milk Tea with black two at 1/4 sweet. The milk tea was quite good and so was the service. It offered a good subtle black tea flavor with not to much sweetness which I appreciate very much. The 1/4 sweetness goes a long way for me. The milk tea portion of the tea was delicious and it was silky and quite refreshing to drink. I like that they did not over inundate the milk tea with ice and put just the right portion to keep the tea cool with only a few bits left over. Service was very cordial and up beat. The place is quite trendy with tables and bar seat available along the windows and some of the walls. They offer electrical hook ups for electronic and Wi-Fi. I get so excited to see places like this doing well. Small, locally owned, and eager to please, businesses like Sharetea improve neighborhoods and support the community by selling local crafts and serving a high quality product. I will admit that when I initially saw my acai bowl that I thought it was pretty small for the money, especially since I ordered the "large" size for $11. Here's the thing, this acai bowl is DENSE. The acai wasn't loose and melty, the toppings were proportionate, and I finished my bowl feeling very satisfied. Dare I say full? This place is highly recommend! I got my oolong milk tea here and it tasted great served with ice on a hot summer day. The place is cleaned really well and is very presentable. The ambiance in the store was very pleasant. The customer service was amazing as well, they were very welcoming and knowledgeable with all the drinks on the menu. I'm so glad here is a new place to get bubble tea by USD. Sharetea is a great place for students at the university to study or just grab a sweet drink. The drinks are really customizable, and the staff will help you with your order. For example, I had the mango and passion fruit green tea with boba, and the gal helping me out recommended I get it with 50% of the normal sugar because it was already pretty sweet. The drink was great with plenty of boba and real fruit. It was a little bit pricy, but I didn't really mind because it seems like they use quality ingredients. There is a small parking lot in front of Sharetea and the other businesses in the complex. If you plan to stay here a while and work you might want to be cautious of where you park since the spots closer to the business are for shorter visits. I'm a big fan of this place. Its a Taiwanese chain that is a big hit with USD students especially. Giant menu with lots of individualized options. Today I tried the ice-blended strawberry lychee (with a dollop of ice cream), and it was insanely delicious and refreshing. Fast, friendly service, and the prices are reasonable given the quality. Eventually it will be open again for studying and social hangs. This is a fun little spot. read more

I am a sucker for milk tea but this place was just mediocre. Location has ample parking, super clean inside and service was friendly. However, their milk tea was just average, nothing to rave about. I ordered: 1. Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea (Roasted Brown Sugar; $4.00) - I imagined that this would be the brown sugar milk tea that they serve in Singapore and Taiwan where they spray the brown sugar syrup on the inside of the cups. Nope. They just replace the sugar that they dissolve in the milk tea with brown sugar - lame. When I asked for 50% sugar, they said the lowest they can go for this milk tea is 80%. Ok fine, I went with 80% and it was overly sweet for my liking. Overall, very disappointing... 2. Classic Pearl Milk Tea (Oolong Tea; $4.00) - This was also mediocre and nothing special. I asked for pudding instead of bubbles, and I got charged $0.50 extra... I felt that the tea flavor was not strong enough, and it was overly sweet despite getting 50% sweetness. The pudding was delicious though, great consistency and custardy taste. Downsides are that each topping (e.g. pearl, aloe vera, pudding, etc.) is $0.50 and if you ask for less ice, they charge $0.50 extra - what a rip off. My Boba was fresh and warm! The other day I had an iced Wintermelon tea with Lychee. Jacob ( the sweetheart ginger haired guy who took my order) and his co worker were swiftly handling all the orders coming in and easily kept their cool. Jacob has an awesome, kind, cool, intelligent and professional demeanor. He was answering everybody's questions and also helped make the drinks with ease. I tried their homemade taro with fresh milk drink, and it was soooo good. I got it half sugar. It's a blended drink, but the best thing is that the taro is from the actual root rather than the powder. I would take actual taro over taro powder any day. With half sugar, it was actually a bit unsweet, which is unusual for a boba place imo. Usually half sugar is still super sweet, but this means Sharetea doesn't oversweeten their drinks! Not too happy with this place. Spent $10 on a classic coffee and less tea mojito peach. The peach mojito was definitely not less sweet. They added too much sugar. I also asked for light ice but the ice was 60% filled. The coffee was decent so gave an extra star for that. Overall disappointed with the lack of quality and waited 10 minutes as well and they weren't busy. Came here this Sunday with my husband as we were making our way to another destination within the plaza, I had to get my milk tea fix. We were instantly greeted as we walked in and saw the huge menu right above the register. They do have the option of adjusting the sweetness which I like because some places can go a bit over board with that. Like the basic girl I am, I ordered the taro milk tea with boba, regular sweetness. I did see after that they have red beans as a topping, which I will get next time I'm here. $4.25 for a pretty large size milk tea with boba, not sure if there's any other sizes to be honest. The flavor was pretty spot on for Taro but there was something a little different from other milk teas I've had, just not sure what it was. Boba ratio was great considering most places skimp out on that. Next time I'm in this plaza I'm definitely going to try the Taro Milk Tea with some red bean instead of boba. First off, the parking lot is narrow and kinda limited. I'm not in this area a lot but it's something to consider. I'm not sure when their peak busy time is. The store was bright and clean inside. My drink was made fast and to the Sharetea standard. If you do order the coffee milk tea just make sure you're not on a date! LOL it will leave you with severe coffee breath haha the drink is good but it leaves a bad coffee after taste on your tongue! We were looking for a nice cool down Boba drink place after Balboa park and before heading back to return the car at rental car center, and this place caught our eyes because it was short 5 minutes drive from the rental car center. Love the variety of boba they have here, and the sizes of the drinks are HUGE. I got the matcha red bean and added boba, they were definitely not cheap with the amount of toppings, boba and the red bean was almost half of the cup. My friend got the oolong with jelly and boba, they also put a lot in his as well. They allow you choose amount of sugar you want in the drink, the matcha red bean was already sweet by itself with no sugar because the red bean was sweetened, i got the 30% sugar and it was still a bit sweeter than i would of like. 0% would of been perfect for me, but i think 30% should be best for everyone else who just want to cut down the sweetness a bit. I always wondered why there was a line out the door, and now I know. My two favorite teas are the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea and the Classic Milk Oolong Tea. Unlike other boba spots, these two teas are not over-sweet and I can taste the tea which I like. Their app gives you the option to customize the entire drink. I order my drinks 50% sweet and that is perfect amount of sweetness for me. Also, I'm not a big fan of beans in cold drinks, so I take out the red beans in the QQ Happy drink. The customer service is always quick and efficient and I appreciate that they will hold my drink in the fridge until I get there when I order online.
