Last time I came here 2/4 of my drinks were made incorrectly. I was disappointed since my mom picked them up and when we got home it was too late to ask them to fix it. Average drinks for average prices. The taste of the Hawaiian passion tea was diluted which leads me to to believe that the flavors of the "tea" come from a syrup rather than tea because I modified my drink's sugar level. The presentation was cute with a slice of watermelon, citrus slices, etc. My husband and kids thought the texture of their boba to be imperfect, which this day age is hard to do since Boba has been around for so long. The staff is friendly enough, but actual face-to-face interaction is limited due to ordering at two stand-up kiosks. There are too many other better options in the area. Love when new boba places open, it's always fun trying new flavors if any. How close to home is always a factor too. I was stopping by for a lychee tea but I noticed they only had lychee with aloe and my hubby likes the tea plain, But that wasn't an option on the ordering kiosk. So I asked the 3 gentlemen for assistance. Usually as a Mexican I am ignored or feel unwelcome in certain boba spots. Which is a pity because as a 626 resident and local business supporter, I'm out getting boba multiple times weekly. But the men were very helpful (and pleasant to look at ladies!) Parking lot can be hell sometimes because there's like 15 businesses and only about 30 spots. That's not enough to cover both employee parking and guests, so try to come during downtimes to avoid frustration. read more

Another boba shop around the area! I ordered the brown rice milk tea with 50% sugar and I thought the tea drink itself was okay? It tasted more like sweetened water, but I also ordered it with grass jelly and I really liked it. The grass jelly had an herbal taste to it, so it tastes like one of those healthier kinds. This was my first time getting a milk drink from R&B, so maybe I like their tea drinks better without milk. The decor here was really pretty! This particular location is located in the plaza with McDonald's and Mr Dragon Noodle. They have a self order kiosk to conveniently place your order. My favorites are the Hawaiian green tea, Stormy matcha, and lemon kumquat. The fruitiness in their teas come through as well as the matcha. Their drinks are refreshing and always consistent. This review is based solely on the R&B claw machine display in the Rosemead location. My daughter and I stop by this afternoon. While Waiting for our drinks she was excited to try the machine out. $11 later we both finally realize what bullshit it is. I have 2 videos as proof and more if needed. The claw opens really fast and drops the item before heading to the drop slot. Play in slow motion if needed. If you need money try your best to sell an extra Boba drink or 2 a day. I loved my Dragonfruit Stormy with Aloe Vera drink and the comfortable warm atmosphere inside here when I was catching up with my girls. I forgot to adjust sugar levels, because I normally like 25-50% sugar on my drinks, but surprisingly my drink didn't taste overly sweet and it was packed with a cheese foamy flavor that made the drink look really pretty and taste good. I'm only knocking down 1 star, because I personally just didn't like that the high tables' window view facing the bright lights from the parking lot, so maybe I should've switched with my friend who was facing the wall since it kind of bothered me and I kinda turned my chair to the side to avoid the hassle and discomfort. I ordered their Brown Rice Milk Tea, which was part of their specialty drink menu. I requested for 75% sugar and less ice, but their drink seemed to be more on the sweeter side compared to other boba shop so I would definitely got the 50% sugar next time. The drink was overall good with a hint of brown rice and milky. The ambience inside the store was very modern and chic with comfy seating area. Perfect for a hangout spot. Parking situation in this plaza seemed to be very busy due to the amount of shops there so give yourself ample time to find parking, especially during lunch/dinner time. read more
