    Lamb Korma and Cheese Naan
    Izzy O.

This was my first time trying Indian food and now I know that I need to add it into my regular rotation! I shared the chicken tikka masala, gobi Manchurian, garlic naan, and vegetable biryani. We quickly devoured everything. The chicken tikka masala had a great flavor, I only wish there was more chicken because it was so good. The vegetable biryani had a great flavor on its own, but I also tried it with the extra tikka masala sauce and yogurt. So tasty. My friend got the lamb korma which had a nice mild, slightly sweet flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was great and the restaurant was super clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were a few people picking up to go orders, otherwise it was pretty quiet when we went.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll definitely be back!

I ordered off of uber eats and I had my order in under thirty minutes. Their food came fresh and hot. The seasonings were some of the best I've ever tried in an Indian Take out place. I'm not able to do many spicy things but their flavors were amazing. I did get the milder version of their chicken tiki and it was excellent!

Which one is the chicken masal and which is the butter chicken please? It was not marked.

I was craving Indian food cause we haven't had it in a while. The two places we used to go to changed management and the food didn't taste as good. My husband and I decided to try this spot and ordered the butter chicken and tikka masala. Once we received it, it was well packaged, piping hot and they gave us ample amount of rice. My only gripe is that we didn't know which one was which. They both were good but I liked the darker sauced meal better. Normally that's the butter chicken is darker but I'm not sure. If someone can help that'd be great! Thank you for the response! I'll be ordering again this weekend!

Absolutely worse biryani. Its not even biryani, it looked like chicken curry and rice mixed . Really disappointed. It was an uber eat order and even for somebody who knows a little about indian food , I could clearly say this is not chicken biryani. Even for this , it was very blant , no salt . For something google recommended this place ruined the lunch . Samosa was alright though.

We were in the Mayo Clinic area craving good Indian food. Found this amazing place! Dalbir was awesome, gave us some great recommendations. We were looking for something light. We tired samosa chaat, chole bhature and vada pav. Everything was absolutely delicious! I loved the Indian music they were playing, reminded me of my high school days. Very clean restrooms, something you don't get to see in Indian restaurants. Great service! Highly recommended.

Chicken Vindaloo, Chana Masala and Rita with rice! Yummy!

They weren't taking any more table reservations for the evening, but they added our name to the waitlist for bar seating and quoted us about an hour. We left to run a quick errand and returned just in time to be seated. The atmosphere was lively with live music, $2 oysters, drink specials all night, and their regular happy hour menu. We ordered a dozen oysters, ceviche, trout dip, tuna crispy rice (not on happy hour, but it's too good to pass up) and wine. Everything was fresh and delicious, just what we've come to expect from Buck & Rider. Even with the restaurant packed, the bartenders were friendly and attentive. The only unusual part of the evening happened before we even walked in. There was a woman passed out in the bushes outside covered in vomit. We mentioned it to the hostess when we checked in, and she let us know they were already aware of the situation and were handling it. Obviously, that's not something the restaurant can control, and it's definitely not something we've ever seen outside Buck & Rider before. Overall, it was another great visit. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were excellent, and Oyster Day is definitely worth checking out if you're an oyster lover.

Ordered a few temaki (hand rolls) - yellowtail and spicy tuna- and they were tasty! All the nigiri we ordered were fresh without fishiness, and had generous portions for the price. Nice to have fresh wasabi which had a nice kick and sweetness. Thoroughly enjoyed these nigiri: seared black cod, ocean trout, hamachi/yellowtail, unagi. Yuzu & rainbow rolls had super appetizing sauces. Ordered the uni from Japan which was supposed to be sweeter than creamier but this one was very distasteful for me, had a strong scent like saliva, and I was unable to tolerate it.

It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. We also ordered beer and a whisky drink so we weren't cheap. The food was pretty good. The ticket time on my entree was about 10 minutes but the other two at our table didn't get their food for almost half an hour. No consistency. I may try this place again much earlier in the night.

The overall place is super cute, quaint, and not loud so you can actually hear your table conversation. The food....delicious! I'll start off by saying those OYSTER BITES are money! My friend and I ordered multiple and I would have ordered more if we didn't have a place to be afterwards. I'm definitely ordering this every single time. The Tuna carpaccio was to die for, I would order this every time! The Lobster croissant was interesting, the lobster itself was so juicy and buttery, I didn't care much for the croissant or shrimp on it. The caviar chips were good but I wouldn't order them again, it was more chips than anything else. The drinks were sooooo good! If you don't know what to order the staff is very knowledgeable and can help guide you. A message for the owners: I absolutely love the concept! You two are extraordinary and I hope you don't change a thing at either of your restaurants. All of them are fantastic. Our table shared the Tuna Carpaccio which is ahi tuna loin slivers pounded thin, topped with crispy capers, fresh chives cava vinaigrette, olive oil, sea salt, chives. Served with bread. My absolute favorite! My husband wanted to try their short rib buns, he said they were really fantastic. I'm glad he enjoyed them because he prefers meat over raw fish, hehe! I wanted to try their new summer item, the ahi tuna tostadas. YUM! They were so good! Fresh, crispy and piled high. They were extremely overwhelmed with all their oyster orders when everyone first came in so we did wait quite some time to get our oyster bites. Half of our order came out and the other half came out maybe 45 min later. We love the food and atmosphere here so that won't keep us from coming back but maybe they need to come up with a different game plan knowing how many people will be ordering oyster bites and oysters on oyster day.

Where things really took a turn was the food. I was so hoping I found a new staple in our walkable restaurants list but the food was mostly disappointing. We liked our fairly standard French onion soup and Caesar salad. The shrimp cocktail were not good at all. Shrimp was tough and mealy. They marinate them with a bunch of herbs. Maybe that caused the unpleasant texture? On top of that, I did not like the herbs used in the marinade. Good shrimp cocktail stands on its own! I should also add that these were $7/each. A week later I had the most amazing shrimp cocktail - tender and sweet and almost double the size for $4/each. I don't mind paying $7. I've paid $13 each for good shrimp cocktail. Just a lot of money to spend on something so disappointing. Our sea bass was also tough. Flavor was okay. The piece was fairly thin - possibly why it was overcooked? For those who love sea bass, I suggest checking it out at SumoMaya or Dominick's. Can't be beat! Sadly, I don't think we'll be back. Too many other excellent options nearby.
