I have had their sandwiches before and I love them! I recently placed an order for pickup on a Sunday at 10am. I triple checked their hours and everywhere says 10am. Yelp, Instagram, Google, etc. Sunday at 10 I called twice to make sure, no answer. I drove there and at 10:20 and the sign on the door said 11am. It was a bummer because I was going out of town and needed the sandwiches then and couldn't wait until 11am. I did receive a call at 10:45 asking if I still wanted the sandwiches, I said no. I will say they did quickly reimburse me for the charge which I appreciate! I just wish they were more clear about the hours. read more

I'm honestly so late for this review. I've been coming to Roadees for at least a year and it is my very favorite sandwhich place, and I can't stress how picky I am about my Italian sandwiches- I take day trips to hunt for a great deli and this place wins every time. The also have drinks called a "Roadee " which taste amazing. I get the strawberry and vanilla with whipped cream. The best part is it is a joy to spend your money there- the fantastic and fun attitude and atmosphere draws you back. You have to be exceptional to survive now, and they absolutely are. They will modify your order and even experiment- incredibly sweet and funny. Can't say enough kind things about Roadees, sincerely. Oh, and they have ice cream! read more

I admit, I have my bubble in Brentwood where I shop. I've needed to expand it for some time. Tried Roadees Monday night and I'm so happy I did. Everything was fanstastic. The owner and her daughter were kind and welcoming. The sandwiches we got tasted tasted great. Get the garlic sauce on yours, you won't regret it. Will be coming back for more soon. read more

I came across this place on a day where I was really craving a sandwich. Normally I'd go to Dino's but I wanted something different.. so Roadees popped up on the map and it turns out they took over where Johnny Salami's used to be, which I've never been to before so I can't compare the two flavor wise. I ordered the hot pastrami on dutch crunch and added jalapeños, garlic sauce and red onion. I'm always skeptical ordering dutch crunch cuz normally it's harder than heck everywhere you go and cuts the roof of your mouth worse than Cap'n Crunch.. BUT thank god this bread was super soft because that's a make it or break it for me. The owner was also super sweet and talks to you as if you've been a loyal customer for years. Really easy to talk to and charismatic. I'll be coming back and enjoying another sandwich! read more

We love roadees! We moved to Brentwood about a year ago, and my wife and I have both been die hard roadees fans ever since. Wow , what a delightful experience. I came to use the bathroom after walking through the nearby farmers market. I decided to order a cáprese sandwich on Dutch crunch bread. Took it home in the adorable Tiffany blue bag and when I finally took a bite it was fantastic!! Sylvia the owner is also super friendly and works hard on the ingredients. Small but MIGHTY! great menu, the decor will bring you back to your lunchbox days and the customer service felt so welcoming and kind. It was like walking back into my moms kitchen! Not f we only was their bread fresh and warm, their sourdough was REAL sourdough! Everything tastes, looks and smells home made but the owner and the girl working the cash register made our day! I can't say enough about Roadee's! My wife and I tried this place for the first time today, I got the Mexican torta, It was delicious, the bread was nice and toasty on the outside, my wife had the meatball sandwich, it was so gooey, and delicious. We got some macaroni salad and again, it was delicious and you could tell it was homemade. The owner was actually making the sandwiches, afterwards she took a couple minutes to introduce herself and talk to us for a couple minutes. To be honest, I hve never been disappointed with this place. I live and work in Brentwood so I like to support the local businesses. I tried this spot before Roadees took over and it was "eh hit or miss." Of course when it changed over to Roadees, I was apprehensive to go again. Well, I finally tried it and it's a great place! Not only are they genuinely nice people but the food is great. I even have my "regular" that I just call in and they know what it is. It's a half and half with a #7 (extra vinegar). I even picked up a couple Christmas gifts in the store :) oh and their hot cocoa is even better than Starbucks. Thanks for not only serving great food but for having great energy! read more

This cafe is the absolute cutest! Do not underestimate them at all, for their sandwiches and drinks are actually quite phenomenal! The staff that took care of me were so kind, helpful and patient, considering it was my first time going. Not the mention that the cafe is decked out with the cutest things: they have cacti like everywhere and it's just so adorable. This place really deserves more recognition, so please give them a visit! read more

These people are disrespectful I tried communicating over the phone and was hung up on by the worker. I tried to call back cause maybe the call dropped they answered the call and hung up again. Disrespectful!!!!! I'll be showing up in person though let's see what you do then! I found this place while wondering around downtown Brentwood, and was hoping to get a good sandwich. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich. There was only a single customer in front of me, but I had to wait a long time for my sandwich...which I could not understand since there were 3 persons working behind the counter. I took the sandwich home. When I cut it in half, I found that half the sandwich had only 1 thin slice of meat, and the other half had 3 slices of meat. Also, there was no sauerkraut. The sandwich sucked! I called the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction. I spoke to a woman who I believe was the owner, and her response was that they must have mistakenly made me a 'sampler' sandwich which they pass out as free samples to passers-by to bring in new customers. This was a blatant lie. She was one of the women behind the counter when I ordered the sandwich. She saw me order, and pay $13 (plus tip) for the sandwich. Lousy sandwich, and dishonestly lost this place a good customer. Buyers beware! read more

This sandwich shop has now spolen me from other sandwich shops around Contra Costa! When you can get a hot Pastrami Sandwich and it is NOT salty, lean and great portions of meat it's the place to be. The meat was meat,tender and flavorful. The Sour dough roll was real, like I remembered growing up in San Francisco and not some soft dough roll labelled sour dough . My toes curled the sandwich was truly that great. The atmosphere was friendly, felt welcome upon entering. Nice setting for a small group meeting and they do partner with Doordash. Nice outdoor side walk tables. There is a variety of meat and the trimmings. Fresh veggies to compliment the sandwich. Beverages do not lack a good variety. I will definitely be a regular. read more
