Beware there is another continuation street of Shatto across the restaurant also with its own parking structure. Make sure you enter the structure that is the same building the restaurant is in and don't make a mistake like I did (#mombrain lol). If you dine in, you can get your parking validated via QR code that you scan at the cashier. It just takes a few minutes to sign up first, but it goes by pretty quick. This is an order and pay at the cashier first, then find your own table and your order will arrive based on the number that was given. HAPPY HOUR: 4-8pm on the weekdays and all day on the weekend WOO!! BULGOGI BENTO BOX: On top of the bulgogi, it comes with rice, salad, 4 pieces of california roll, 3 pieces of gyoza, and miso soup. I got lost on the train and found this place while I was starving. I just ordered a simple California roll and it was so good, I nearly choked while scarfing it down. The bags they give you are NICE bags, like a fabric material that you can def reuse. I've never seen a take out bag this nice, tbh. First off , they give you really good portions and the pricing is pretty reasonable. We ordered four items. The Teriyaki wings with the housemade sauce was sweet and tangy. It had a light crisp to it. I especially liked the Big Bang Shrimp. It was topped with salmon and crispy onion. I love the combination. My second favorite was the Holy Grail, which was yellow tail. AWFUL takeout service, and will never eat here because of that. Made an order through Grubhub via Yelp on accident (clicked wrong restaurant), called IMMEDIATELY after to cancel since there was no option in app to cancel. I wanted to try another restaurant near my job and decided to come here. It's situated on a corner at the bottom of an office building. The inside is big and there is seating inside and out. I was in a bit of a rush so I ordered tempura and a Thai tea. There were so many people working that day which made no sense for me to have to wait almost 25 minutes. I counted at least 5 behind the counter including two guys in the front who were chatting with each other and folding boxes. It was rather annoying to see so many people standing around while waiting for my simple order. After I finally got my food, I was able to eat my tempura and drink my tea. Roll Call in K-Town is great! Let's start with parking. There is free underground parking, but make sure you scan the QR code before you take the elevator to go up to the restaurant (if you choose to park there). You'll also have to enter your debit card #, which is fine (you won't get charged), but considering I had never parked in this type of facility, there was some confusion. There is no parking spot # to input so do not worry about that. The lot starts the timer as soon as you enter. They scan your plates! Last week we were going to order sushi for dinner and when I went online to start our order we noticed all the less expensive traditional rolls we usually purchase are no longer available (Spicy Tuna $10.95, Spicy Salmon Avo Roll $11.95, Yellowtail Avo Roll $12.95, Spicy Salmon Cucumber Roll $10.95, Spicy Tuna Avo Roll $11.95). Now all the "good" rolls start at $16 and go up to $20. I'm cool off of a $16 sushi rolls from Roll Call. I understand it's a business and things have gotten more and more expensive, but I can get better quality rolls for a reasonable price at real sushi restaurants. Such a shame. They will surely lose long time customers. Like honestly, they want us to pay $15 for a deep fried imitation crab and avocado roll?! No thanks. read more

I recently dined at @rollcall.koreatown and had the pleasure of trying their Bulgogi Beef Bento Box, Katsu Chicken Bento Box, Tempura Sampler, and Stir-Fried Udon. Let me tell you, the Bulgogi Beef Bento Box was an absolute delight and easily the yummiest dish of all. The beef was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It was accompanied by a variety of tasty sides that complemented the main dish wonderfully. The Katsu Chicken Bento Box was also impressive. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It came with a delightful sauce that added an extra layer of deliciousness. The portion sizes were generous, making it a satisfying meal. I couldn't resist trying the Tempura Sampler, and I'm glad I did. The tempura was light, crispy, and served with a flavorful dipping sauce. The assortment of vegetables and shrimp made for a delightful combination of flavors and textures. Lastly, the Stir-Fried Udon was a comforting and savory dish. The udon noodles were cooked just right, and the stir-fried vegetables added a delightful crunch. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion size was generous. In terms of ambience, Roll Call Koreatown provided a simple and cozy atmosphere. The warm and inviting decor created a pleasant dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. This is going to sound really petty, but when you spend a lot of money via Uber Eats and your order includes miso soup, one would expect for there to be at least a couple of pieces of tofu and maybe a few shreds of seaweed and a couple of green onions. But there were none. Just pure broth, lol. Come on Roll Call, step it up. read more
