ELITE. We wanted some breakfast and this was one of the earlier places opened. It blew our socks away. Ordered: - Steak & Eggs / Bo Ne (5+/5): Amazing. The bread was toasted to perfection and was so flakey that it absorbed the sauce of the platter so incredibly well. Steak was flavorful and tender and balanced with all the veggies. This was a dish straight from Nam - Nuoc Mia (4.5/5). Great! I haven't had this drink in years so don't have a good baseline but it was tasty nonetheless - Hu Tieu (4/5). Aromatic broth and was decently sized portion. A win for our son.

i came in on a saturday afternoon and was seated fairly quick. my friend and i shared one dish and it came out within 10 mins of ordering despite the busy weekend. my only complaint is that the waiters didn't bring our waters until after the 5th time we had asked. the dish we ordered was very delicious and the sauce was so addicting! however, i do prefer the one they offer at nep.

Ok, I feel like I found my favorite easy spot for good Vietnamese food in OC. The ambiance was no frills, but I enjoyed the TV and live music playing outside for Tet. Food came out pretty quickly and tasted amazing! The service was quick and easy. I will be back!

Advertised 9.99 Bun Rieu Finding parking can be quite challenging . Restaurant was quite full around noon time. Broth- flavor is quite good. Temperature of the broth should be served hotter as it wasn't hot enough to my liking. Very small serving of shrimp paste. Greens were fresh and chili was definitely packed some heat. Would come back to try their take on pho.

We arrived and even though we were a large party, they sat us down quickly. I ordered the Vietnamese beef stew with French bread and Vietnamese coffee with coconut milk. Broth on the soup was very good. The meat was tender and they served the bread nice and warm. The coffee was excellent. My advice is to let the ice melt some as it is very strong. It is strong, but very good! Service was solid and they were attentive throughout our meal. Overall, a great experience and I can recommend this place for anyone that wants a great casual meal.

My boyfriend has been on the lookout for the best place to get Bo Ne so we came across this place! Lots of menu selections and interestingly includes some Western foods including macaroni or Thai food like Pad Thai. I got the Bo Luc Lac with a Nuoc Mia Rau Ma. I always get these at Vietnamese restaurants and sometimes they don't come out in one portion where it's not the typical shareable dish. It came with rice, veggies, and a small bowl of soup! Such a perfect combination and definitely had me full at the end of the meal. The meat was tender and not chewy at all. As for the drink, it was really refreshing and delicious if you're both a sugarcane and pennywort fan. I tried a bit of my boyfriend's Bo Ne and felt like he could find better. It wasn't too bad if you wanted a quick bite for lunch. As for his Soda Chanh, it had more lemon-y taste to it than a good balance with the soda to it. The workers are attentive and act quick! We'll prob come back and give it a try if we were looking to try their other dishes.

This atmosphere is great for a viet restaurant! Very upbeat clean and modern interior. I like it that they play younger demographic music with 6 different tvs going on with different sports. Definitely a great place to hang out in the afternoon or evening. Now for the food - what we tried for our first time was also great! I recommend the sup NUI that's what I had it's comforting and the pork is not dry. Their bot chien is also good and my husband had the banh canh dac biet my husband said it was 7/10. They make a good coffee and limonade overall we will be back highly recommend.

I had: ~The Bò Né which consisted of fried eggs, sizzling beef, pâté, onions, and a baguette. Thoughts: Overall, I thought the Bò Né was pretty good. Meat was tender, eggs were cooked at the consistency that I liked, and the onions were sautéed well. The only thing that threw me off was that it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Besides that, I liked the dish and I give extra points for the baguette and the mini salad/veggie side that came with it. I also want to mention that the staff is pretty friendly:) Note: I might come again to try their other Viet dishes.

We came here specifically for the Banh Mi Bo Ne (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak). It was amazing!! The flavor of the sauce was perfect. The meat was nice and tender. The eggs were cooked perfectly. This is probably one of the best beef steaks I've had outside of Vietnam. Ive been dreaming of having this meal again. We also ordered the fried rice, cake and egg. It was also good but I wish we had order two of the beef steak instead. If you come here you MUST order the beef steak!! The service was nice and friendly. My wife's side of the family is Vietnamese and they were talking to them in Vietnamese. The inside of the restaurant is very nice, lots of plants, clean and lots of seating. I'll 100% be back next time I'm in time in town.

This is where you go for real Viet food! Amazing experience. Space is more modern and upscale but service is Asian - so don't expect western style service. Food was excellent. Definitely returning for their Viet breakfast signature dish - Bo Ne Viet steak & eggs. Where they get their banh mi bread was a mystery but the best - so realistic. Bun rieu was very good - not salty - no crab shell pieces - very tasty and satisfying.

I love the Asian macaroni style. When i see this location has the dish I was little hesitant because 8 out of 10 times i order from different places, they would give me the American macaroni instead. I was so happy when I see they actually use the correct macaroni. The shaken beef was soft and very tasty. They wrap with foil paper so after 25 minutes on the road, it wad still warm. A lot of garlic for garlic lover. Good portion for an ideal brunch. The only problem I experienced was my drink order. I ordered thru UberEat for sugarcane. They called me and let me know that they were out. I said Im okay with rau ma (pennywort) for replacement. 30 minutes later I receive a cup of milk. I told the Uber deliver guy this is not what I expect to receive. He said the restaurant just replace it because they dont have the other drink neither. You cannot imagine how mad I was. I called the restaurant right away and let them that they should call me back again if they are out of stuff. Dont assume to give me milk, Im lactose tolerance. Oh well, they refund me my drink which is good.

I am a 9 year old. My reviews are not perfect. My 5 year old brother said that the sugarcane drink is the best and that you should get it for your kids. The Vietnamese steak and eggs was very yummy. The steak was very tender and had good taste. The egg was nice and yolky. It comes with bread to dip in the sauce that the steak and eggs were in. The beef stew was also very yummy. The stew was excellent and with the bread it was amazing. The beef was also tender and delicious. For the drink I would definitely get the sugarcane drink. It has a nice balance and had a good amount of sweetness. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Normally, I don't write a bad review. I think this might be my 1st one star. I'm feeling this way because I ordered a Pho Ga Di Bo, like many, I caught a cold and wanted chicken soup. Everything is fine when I take the order home. I make a right and the food in the bag tilts and as tried to balance it I burned my hand because they didn't close the lid or wrap a plastic bag over the soup. By the time I got home l, my car smells like chicken soup. The insult to injury was the order was even wrong and I got shredded chicken noodle soup. So, I really don't understand how you do business like this. But I don't need to know because this experience was so bad, I'll never want to know. read more

I just had lunch in Saigon View yesterday. While almost restaurants only receive take-out orders, Saigon View allows you to dine-in and seats outside which is very cool, the natural windy would make you enhance the enjoyable during the hot summer. This is a good location, I can go to Mom Supermarket after then, it's save my time a lot !!! Among many choices, I would like to try Pad Thai and Sugarcane. It was amazing, I really like the sauce here. I definitely comeback to try another foods. I highly recommend you to visit SaiGon View. read more

The banh mi bo ne was probably the worst I've ever had. The steak was bland and tasteless, the pate was bland and tasteless, and the fried eggs I know for sure they deep fried under oil cause it's crispy and the yolk is basically solid so it's definitely over cooked. BUT WORST OF ALL they just threw in raw ass onions and a lot of it too. Who puts thick slices of raw onion in and thought it was okay to not sauté it down. The one thing that saved the meal was the banh bot chien which was absolutely delicious. read more

I loved the bò né. So good. The passion fruit drink was good too. I like it without the seeds. The beef with macaroni was delicious too. Super duper ngon (that means good in Vietnamese) Another recommendation is the fried rice. I think it's for limited time, but it's good. Highly recommend this place! read more

EXCELLENT customer services and high-quality food! The parking is easy to find and the location was really easy to recognize. I ordered Bun Rieu; the flavor was different from other restaurants. This is no Asian fusion restaurant. The restaurant looks very contemporary, but the VN food shows tells otherwise. Food was very flavorful and heavily seasoned. My fiancé and I decided to do a twin order of bun rieu and jasmine milk tea. Broth was rich and flavorful. Bun was soft and chewy. A bunch of rieu and tomatoes makes my mouth happy. This restaurant is very cute. They have good view no matter where you seat. Nice and clean restaurant. Parking can be an issue during peak hours since they share the parking lots with a Supermarket and other restaurants and fast food places. We only tried the chicken soup (pho ga) and it was good. Will be back to try other dishes. Great place for breakfast or lunch. read more

We came in a bit late, probably about 45 minutes to closing, and noticed that none of the workers were wearing their masks!! The cashier that helped us didn't, the person walking around cleaning the tables didn't, the person delivering food didn't....We ordered to-go so we weren't there long, but it felt uncomfortable that masks were not enforced! I've eaten here a few times, but only wait til now to write a review, because I want to test the consistency of their services. I got to say I'm really impressed. The people are quite friendly, a great environment, and best of all; the quality of my favorite dish (which is the sizzling steak btw) is amazing. You'll know that the meat is high quality when you tasted it. I high recommend sizzling steak, and for the drink, coffee with coconut milk is my favorite. This is my favorite restaurant. Thanks a waiter who suggested me to all the delicacies of the restaurant, and they were really good. If you are visiting the restaurant for the first time, ask the staff about the recommended dishes that will suit your taste. The taste of dishes here is so good, it is obviously like the taste in Vietnam. Their decoration is pretty and welcoming. The place is perfect for friends meeting up and chatting. I came here several times and always ordered "bò né" which is the best in town. Today I tried "bò lúc lc" and it was so yummy as well. The restaurant is nice and super clean. They also offer free iced tea all the time. I highly recommend this place!! read more

Really fast and attentive service, I always check the bathroom first because I need to wash my hands anyways and it was clean. Food is very delicious, the presentation was beautiful and neat. This is our new place for weekend breakfast - Nice cafe, very delicious Bò Né. I love their fresh eggs and butter. I have been to Mon Ami for Bo Ne so many times, but after so many times being treated so rudely and disrespectful by the owner ( the old man, not his son and daughter) I will never come back to Mon Ami. It was my luck to find a better alternative here. My husband loves your food and will definitely come back for more. Keep up the good work! read more

I separated my daughter's portion into the small bowl they provided (without me having to ask) then added chili oil, that was on the table, to my bowl. It was a little bland in my option, but I just added fish sauce and it was good. I think pricing was reasonable and on par with others in the area. This one is walking distance from my house so I'll likely frequent often.

The meat in both sandwiches was tender, and all of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. No air conditioning tonight. Not too busy here either. Overall there are better dining options available in Orange County area.
