Surprisingly very slow service, there was a huge line and they took our order after a while and we were served our pizzas but they guy who was supposed to grab our drinks kept getting distracted. He took our drink order and pulled our drinks out and set them on the back counter, then started helping another customer and we had to flag him down to remind him our drinks were sitting out and we still needed to pay, so our pizza was getting cold. The pizza was tasty, but I hope they do a better job managing their time next time.

Pleasant, busy pizza place on Mamaroneck Avenue. Can be difficult to park, but worth the walk. Very clean, lots of tables, and very good pizza. Al the employees are very helpful.

Another great meal at Sal's. The pizza is the best. Thick or thin crust with all the toppings. Seating is limited if you eat in, but the pizza is best hot out of the oven. Spaghetti was good too. If you're looking for great pizza, this place is top of the list in Mamaroneck.

I came on a Sunday on the first day June and there was a bit of a line and the place was busy! That's how you know it's good! Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

This view is Sicilan-based. So I ate here years ago and wasn't impressed. I think we had a plain pie but not sure. I came back to give it another shot but had seen someone's photos of their Sicilian. It looked cheesy and good so that's what I had my sights on. I am going to give it four stars instead of three right now. Reason being, I didn't get to judge the plain so it feels unfair--nor any other menu items. Anyway, there was a great amount of cheese, the crust was good and texture pretty good. However, I felt the flavor was really lacking. At first when I grabbed a little piece of cheese to try I was pleasantly surprised, it tasted good. But as I went on to take bites I felt that it was a bit too mild for me on the flavor. Pretty "mid" I think is the word used nowadays. I would give the Sicilian slice a 4 or 5 out of 10. Service was good, no complaints.

When was the last time you saw one of these?!

Having grown up in Miami I'm no stranger to NY/NJ style pizza, and this is my preferred style (Chicago deep dish/thin and Detroit be damned!) so needless to say I was beyond excited to try some authentic NY pizza. Sal's was EVERYTHING I had hopped it would be; ooey-gooey cheese, crisp spicy pepperoni cups, and the most tangy red sauce, soooo good! The crust was also very nice. Perfect undercarriage, flawless chew, really delightful. The Sicilian wasn't bad either, but definitely not my style. Tho it was a very good slice as well. Overall for the price and for the wait, definitely can't ask for more. Highly recommend stopping by if you're near by.

They have several tables in the front and additional seating in the back. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating. To drink, I had a mocktail. I was worried it would be too sweet because it included sprite and cranberry juice, but it was actually very pleasant and bursting with flavor. For my main, I had the frittata. It was tasty. Some of the broccoli rabe was a little tough to chew, but not too bad. It was topped with a generous portion of cheese. I loved the tender mushrooms. My husband got the cozze. The portion of mussels was large and he enjoyed the sauce. We also shared the cinnamon french toast, which was delicious. It didn't even need syrup as it was perfectly sweet with the cream and berries on top. Even so, they had several syrups to choose from including amber and maple. Looking forward to coming back to try the dinner menu.

My sister and I ordered food, before anyone else came into the restaurant. My latte came in a soup bowl. I could barely pick it up. We ordered the pancakes and eggs. My entire plate was meat and I had two very small eggs. The bread was very stale and hard. It also took over 45 minutes to come out. Save your money. There are much better restaurants around here.

The dining room was moderately packed, but with a reservation we were seated right away. Street parking can be tight, but there's ample parking in the rear and valet was available that night, which made things easy. The space feels modern and open, with a strong bar program and a solid list of specialty cocktails. My Smoked Old Fashioned arrived releasing a rich, smoky aroma that immediately set the tone. We started with Alessia's Crostone and the Hot Antipasto, a generous spread of shrimp, baked clams, calamari, mussels, and eggplant parm. I ordered the Frutti di Mare, and they did not hold back on the seafood. Clams, mussels, calamari, and shrimp layered over pasta in a bright marinara made for a balanced, satisfying dish. Others had the Shrimp Milanese, crisp and vibrant with arugula and red wine vinaigrette. Portions are ample, service is attentive without rushing you, and the restaurant has a warmth that's hard to fake. When birthdays are celebrated, the sparkler candle and music bring the whole room together. This remains one of our go-to spots.
