I came here for a solo brunch date and had a lovely experience. I grabbed parking right in front and was dying to having their oatmeal pancakes one more time. I put my order in and my server made sure to check in on me every now and then to make sure I have everything I needed. I ordered their All Star breakfast and holy moly I underestimated how filling it is! The only thing I didn't enjoy was their bacon, the pieces were too fatty and wish they were crispier. The sausage patties were good, their eggs were creamy & delicious, and their biscuit was the perfect size. Their jam with the biscuit was very yummy. Now let's talk about the star of the All Star meal...the pancakes. These pancakes melt in your mouth and warm and delicious. The brown cinnamon butter on top is soooo good! These pancakes are the perfect serving to leave you feeling satisfied. I love Salts cure and will be back. :)

I tried the oatmeal pancakes with cinnamon butter. The cinnamon butter was really delicious, and the pancakes were moist and fluffy. You get about two large pancakes, which felt like a great portion for breakfast. One thing that surprised me was that the suggested tip starts at 22% (22%, 24%, 26%). Parking wasn't too bad though, there's plenty of street parking around the area.

I got here around noon on a Saturday. Had to come see the griddle in person. The line intimidated us but it was just one big party. You write your name on a sheet and wait to be called. About a 25 min wait for a party of 3. About 20 min for food to come out but the vibes and music is on point. Heard everything from Fergie to SIR, 2pac and Eve. For $26 i got the allstar to try everything at once. The oatmeal griddle was warm, the butter with cinnamon was good enough that my friend's daughter wanted to eat it on its own. It's hard to describe but it was bomb and lived up to the hype. I wish i wouldn't of shared it The bacon was crispy and something in that sausage was really good that stood out. My scrambled eggs were a little runny which i didnt understand but the biscuits and jam made up for. The customer service could be a little more attentive and that bathroom was a mess but I'd comeback for the oatmeal griddle

Salt Cure pancakes are the best! That is all ! Lol - just kidding. I came here with the family on a random weekday. There was easy seating and we were seated l. The servers were accommodating to my kids with drink cups and the coffee is GOOD! I am not into pork, so there are only pork options. My kids and husband were good with the breakfast and the burger. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and how the kids were accommodated !

My first time here, a friend brought me and it was delicious. I will be back and will get the oatmeal griddle cakes mix. They are perfect! You don't even need syrup, they're thin but crispy and cinnamony. The hash browns look like bricks but are very yummy. Perfectly fluffy eggs and the bacon was thick cut and delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Food was good, but what really turned my stomach was the service (the people). It was my first time eating here and I was so excited to eat the pancakes that I've heard from so many of my friends. The OG cakes were so good. The butter is what really makes it so good! Having to have told the waitress it was my first time, you would think I'd get more of a welcoming guide to the menu and so forth. But instead every question I asked made me feel like I was burden. After eating, I wrongfully decided to take something to go for my family. I ordered a breakfast sandwich to go, my boyfriend ordered the breakfast sandwich when I went and the waitress asked what side did he want. I didn't know that the sandwiches TO GO didn't come with a side nor did she ask when I ordered to go. So 10 mins later, it hit me that she didn't ask what side I wanted with the sandwich. When I asked and added the side, the demeanor and breath of irritation from her, was out of this word and something I've never experienced in hospitality dining. I hope to give this place another chance because the food was great, but again, it wasn't just one waitress, it was all 3 waitresses that really didn't seem to like their job. Understandable a day after Christmas no one wants to work, but still, wasn't great to come to a restaurant where you don't feel welcomed. Even more after a jolly holiday and you want to just enjoy a day after Christmas with loved ones at a "nice restaurant."

My boyfriend and I decided to check out Salt's Cure about seeing amazing videos of their famous pancakes. We went on a Sunday for brunch and luckily the wait wasn't too bad. Once we got there, we put down our names and got seated within 10-15 mins, which for brunch wasn't too bad. The place itself was lively and cute. Service wasn't too bad for a busy brunch either. I have to say that Salt's Cure has one of the best pancakes I've had but, unfortunately other than that the other food we had that was disappointing! We each got their breakfast platter and a side of pancakes. Next time we would simply get the pancakes and call it a day because that's the best thing on their menu. It's buttery and has a good amount of cinnamon in it, which makes it really delicious. I would maybe just go to their sister breakfast spot called Breakfast by Salt Cure to get the pancakes!

The only good thing about this restaurant was the pancakes! Service was terrible. The waiters are so rude and don't care about you. We asked for napkins and she rolled her eyes. Later we asked for more water and she signed. Like ok. Also took forever to get seated. Only about two staff members were nice but the rest absolutely hate being there and it shows. As a customer you pretty much have to do everything yourself because no one talks to you or helps. Disappointed. We came for a birthday too.

The food from Salt's Cure was absolutely delicious, and the staff was as great as those pork patties lol. Everything we tried was so good! just heads up, it takes forever to get a table, so plan accordingly!

Great breakfast/brunch spot! I can highly recommend their sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was really good. Make sure to add a side of bacon, as the bacon is one of the best I've had. I would definitely dine here again. Our waitress was also really nice and accommodating. Plenty of street metered parking.

Food was delish!! The oatcakes taste like Eggo cinnamon waffles in the best way. Great scramble and super crispy hash browns. A little understaffed but good service none the less.

This is my partners favorite breakfast spot in LA so I've been a few times now. The food is great. The oatmeal griddle cakes are my favorite as well as the iced coffee. My partner always gets the All Star! It's a lot of food. It's all so good! We will be back!

This is my second time visiting salt's cure and it was just as great as the first. The SCRAMBLED EGGS tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend getting the OATMEAL GRIDDLE CAKES. This was enough to feed 2 people. It was a bit heavy, but very delicious. Be prepared to feel rushed out from your table. They have a unique seating system and it is not the place to take your time as you eat. Overall, very fresh food!

    Does it get busy?

Saturday and Sunday brunch are the busiest times for this establishment. All other times are moderately to not very busy.

Is this location closed? I just drove by and it looks like it's all boarded up.

For a while they were only open during the day but as of recently they are open now until 9pm (except on Sunday they close at 3pm)

Looks like the restaurant has closed down?

It's not. I'm here ordering right now

Right when I walked in, I was greeted by great service. One of the staff walked me up (elevator) to the restaurant and shared that this location was somewhat new-ish. He said a bunch of things, but I just remember him saying this flagship store was a love letter to the CEO of Dior and that Monsieur Dior was a culinary love letter to Hollywood. Something like that. Right off the bat, I was taken aback by the beauty of everything: the store, furniture, the decor, the tableware, the plating, the food, and even the damn servers. But anyway, we ordered the following: Tuna Violette Bouquet Agnolotti Cousu Main Crab & Caviar Beef Perlé Goddess Garden Chocolate Cannage I'm pretty sure I ordered a Matcha Latte too. It was real matcha, only very slightly sweetened. Oh, and the croissants? Complimentary, and you bet we devoured them. I made a mess lol. The meal itself was art, which was like nothing I've seen before in food (at least not food that was also tasty). I would have devoured all of them on my own, but no. Split with two of my friends. I'm tempted to just come back alone and re-order them and go shopping afterwards. My friend was unimpressed by the agnolotti cousu main; her critique was that it tasted average, with the broth as its saving grace. I still liked it though. This is a very sharp looking bar/restaurant located technically on Sunset Boulevard, but if you…read moreblink, you may miss it. It is tucked just off of Sunset and, sadly, it is easy to miss. I have probably driven by it a hundred times or more without seeing it. Thankfully, I know where it is now and, even better, they have a few dedicated parking spaces behind the restaurant, but good luck with the extremely finicky pay machine. Who knew that "electric owls" were nighttime train conductors? Well, now you know. The train theme is carried through the decor of the restaurant and apparently, this is the site of an old train station. My Sunset Sour was a very nice whiskey sour. They have six nonalcoholic cocktail (mocktail) options, which was impressive. The Grill Daddy Burger (with bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce, and more) was very nice. They were offering fries with crab during our visit and they sounded decadent. Under other circumstances, we would have tried them but couldn't do so this time around. You can hang at the bar, on the outside bar patio, or inside the very cool-looking interior restaurant area. Think 1920s decor, literally 100 years ago, but still awesome today. This is a very nice spot for cocktails, mocktails, and well-made upscale bar food.
