Perfect stop on our way to the airport. Service was fantastic. Food was great. Well seasoned and made fresh. We started with some French Onion Soup and the Slamming Shrimp appetizer--both were delicious. For mains I had the Black & Blue Chicken Sandwich and my guy had the Caddy Melt. Both were cooked perfectly and scrumptious.

What a great find this restaurant was. We had been in the car 9 hours and needed a relaxing calm place, Sharon our server was amazing! She recommended the seafood special, it was perfect. Cosmo was the best I've had had in a long time. We will be back!!

I haven't been to Sam Snead's in awhile but a Birthday Celebration brought me back! It's a nice setup but definitely a casual vibe. It was September and still hot out but the air was blasting to the point everyone was going to the car for a jacket. We asked our server and they eventually turned it down. My nose started running... The menu has alot of variety and from.what I hear you can't go wrong. I ordered a side Cesar Salad and the Flatbread. I can be very indecisive so being able to do 1/2 Chicken & 1/2 Steak! I enjoyed my meal and I had enough flatbread to take home for a snack! Everyone in the party reported enjoying their food and drinks! Our server was very attentive and ensured we were taken care of! I will return & you should give it a try!!!!

Located close to the airport, Sam Snead's Tavern is always consistent and the food is delicious. Perfect for a business meeting, date night, or place to meet friends. The crowd is typically a tad older. They have a decent sized menu. I love their French onion soup. The flatbreads are massive! You can't go wrong-- they're all delicious. The sandwich's and burgers are also a good choice. The steaks and juicy and typically served with smashed potatoes. The only odd menu item is the chicken Marsala, it's delicious but don't expect a traditional Italian-style Marsala.

My wife and I love this place. We started off with drinks from the bar. My wife got a smoky Manhattan, and it was served with a lid on. When she removed the lid, the smoke rose from the drink. Really cool! (That made my Rum and Coke look boring. But it was as good, though!). For dinner, I had the Chicken Tenders dinner, which was really tasty. It came with my choice of two sides, so I selected mashed redskin potatoes, and some cole slaw. My wife opted for the Tavern Flatbread. She couldn't decide if she wanted Steak or Spicy Shrimp, so our server suggested that she order it half and half. Steak on one side, and spicy shrimp on the other! That's exactly what she did and she loved it! Food and service here is great, and it's a very pleasant atmosphere.

The food was good. The server was attentive. It was a little too dark for liking but otherwise I did like the George bush signed pictures.

French onion soup is seriously AMAZING! Make sure you order one. Also, kids grilled cheese was so good too. Crispy and fresh. My husband and I ordered burgers and I have to say they were delicious. The only thing I have to say is the fries aren't to die for but that's doesn't mean they deserve a lesser star for it. They weren't too hot or crispy. Just okay. But the ambiance is threat, bathrooms are super clean, sweet iced tea is great, and prices were also reasonable. Would definitely come back if we're ever back out that way! Great location too!

One of the best burgers I've had in Savannah. Service was great, wait time was pretty quick, based on a busy lunch crowd. Ambiace was upscale.

First, the setting is absolutely beautiful. You're dining inside this gorgeous historic pink mansion, and you can feel the history and richness of the energy throughout the space. There is something so special about being there. It feels like an experience before you even get to the food. And speaking of those biscuits, they were genuinely some of the best biscuits I have ever put in my mouth. I could have eaten an entire basket by myself. We started with the goat cheese artichoke fritters, which were delicious. I also had the Low Country she-crab soup, and heavenly is really the only word for it. Rich, creamy, flavorful, just incredible. For dinner, I had the pecan-crusted chicken breast with blackberry bourbon glaze, sweet potato with pecan vanilla butter, and string beans. It was so, so good. Every part of the plate worked beautifully together, and it was exactly the kind of Southern meal I was hoping to have while in Savannah. The service was fantastic, and throughout the evening we heard beautiful live music from some amazing singers. Between the historic setting, the incredible food, the hospitality, and the music, the entire evening felt truly special. Bravo to everyone who works there and makes this place what it is. What an exceptional experience. I genuinely cannot wait to go back.

The service by our waitress Kristen, who was also the sommelier, was top notch. She gave us great wine recommendations for the choices we made. She also gave us a picture of what was on the menu. We ordered the She Crab soup and BLT. The fried green tomatoes sold me on the Pink House's version of a deconstructed BLT. The biscuits are great for dipping not just a snack so be sure you help clean the plate with them. Yum. I ordered the Vidalia onion and Sweet potato ravioli with oyster mushrooms with pecans. It was the best thing between my wife and I. She had the fried flounder with a side of asparagus. Whole fish without the head. I thought the fish was delicious. Paired with the Reisling Kabinett, while the Pinot Noir Argyle went well with the Ravioli. For dessert I had the Pecan Basket. The vanilla with fruit in a pecan weave held the whole dessert together. The raspberry peach sorbet was delicate and sweet. Both desserts hit the spot along with the coffee to finish up the night. The light, tables, paintings and decorations were perfect for a romantic evening with your special someone or dinner with the family to celebrate a special occasion. Whatever the case, this visit capped a great weekend in Savannah and Tybee.

Been here for both dinner and lunch. All this said, I think my approach to this review is comprehensive. With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.

I had heard so much about their short rib and mashed potatoes dish that I had to try it. I requested Rylee as my server. I met her when I had lunch this past year. Rylee is certainly one of the best servers I have ever had. Her recommendations were on point and I cannot say enough about her professionalism, friendly demeanor and menu knowledge. The short rib dish was beyond what I expected and absolutely delicious! Hands down, one of the best meals I have ever had! I also decided to get the flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was so yummy! I will definitely be back. Love the atmosphere as well and the bar area is inviting. Wait! I forgot one of the best parts! The music! I am a huge fan of alternative music so being able to enjoy my meal to the sounds of New Order's "Ceremony" and then Depeche Mode while finishing my dessert was the cherry on top of the cake! It really made for an overall incredible experience! Thank you! I will definitely highly recommend your restaurant and look forward to coming back!

I didn't see any posted restrictions and I didn't return to a ticket so either I lucked out or there aren't any. Check for yourself. No reservation, but open seating at the bar. That's where I ended up. There's also outdoor seating but you better believe I opted for indoor seating. Took one of the high tables in the bar area. Liv was the bartender and server. She was attentive - even while taking care of what seemed like was the entire bar area. Friendly and knew her stuff. Her cocktails were balanced and though they didn't really pair with my food, I enjoyed them anyway. Food. See pics. Went with deviled eggs, tomato soup and mushroom gnocchi. Simple. Tasty and I'd have them again. Capped the night with a crunch cake (? - don't remember the name) and left feeling great having had a simple, but delicious meal in a lively fun gathering spot. One that I definitely recommend and will be back to on one of my next work visits.

I went with all of EA's recommendations including the wine pairings and dessert. If you're a follower, you know that I recommend checking out reviews we have in common to see if our tastes align - but here are my thoughts: Started with the Ceviche.
