Todo estuvo delicioso -- la comida se notaba recién hecha, salió caliente y con un sabor auténtico que realmente se disfruta. El servicio fue excepcional: amables, atentos y rápidos. Se siente el cariño con el que preparan cada platillo. Definitivamente recomendaría venir a comer aquí y sin duda volvería. ¡Una joya para quienes disfrutan de la comida catracha auténtica!

This was good! I'd not had Honduran food before. I had the carne asada and it was delicious. I'm used to Mexican food, and many of the dishes have similar names but are totally different. Thankfully the waiter walked us through it. Casual, fast, and tasty. We will return.

All the reviews are so good and I decided to try. Oh yes!!! The food was fantastic. Carne Asada was so good, the beef was flavorful and tender, beans and salad delicious, and this homemade tortillas...heavenly! Never tried a cuisine from Hondura but I loved it!!! It's a small family owned restaurant and I love supporting the local restaurant like this one. The service was great, too!

You really want to come for the flour tortillas. Got the carne asada because this was what I was told they sold the most of. It was ok but the star of the show was the homemade flour tortillas. They were much better and bigger than the corn tortillas. They did do a cheese quesadilla for my youngest son and that was great. A few things, order was taken by what looked to be the owner who was very pleasant. Service was really really slow with all our dishes coming out almost like one or two at a time. Hard to communicate since we don't speak Spanish. Lastly the flan was just kind of ok. The sauce that came with it tasted funny. Maybe in Honduras they do it different but had a twinge in the taste is best how I described it. Would definitely come back for the tortillas. Definitely priced well and affordable!

Since I met my husband I've had my share of Honduran restaurant experiences and this one now ranks like #1! Cleanliness, service & food- top tier for a Latin/hispanic restaurant. Had nice upbeat Honduran music going on in the background. Food was great! I had Baleadas, I'm picky about my baleadas and these were right on! My husband had Carne Asada con tajadas and he really loved the food as well. One other thing that stood out for me was the list of beverages they had! I was excited to have choices! lol oh and the cultural art they have around the restaurant is phenomenal. I felt like I was in a museum! I loved it. if we are ever in Dallas again, we will come back!

Went on a Sunday around 1:30pm. Parking was easy to find. The service was good, a little slow but the place was packed and stayed packed the entire time we were there. EVERYTHING we tried was so so delicious and flavorful. My favorite was the carne asada costeña! The banana bread was also great! Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!!

After a long day most anything sounded good but particularly San Pedro's. Kinda easy to miss, located on a strip mall, but yet so good. Very authentic from what's on the menu to the things they have available to purchase on the counter by the cash register. We had a little help from one of the employees and it was much appreciated.

I'd never had Honduran food before and this really set the bar. The spice pallet is very flavorful and the huge tortilla was kind of like using naan. Everything from the beef to the beans were great! I'll definitely be back.

Great food...I'm no expert on Latin food. But I can tell you when someone cooks food with love and has the spirit to meet all dinner's. Sincerely checking on their happiness and making sure the food is enjoyed. Love the authentic fill of the restaurant, decor, and most importantly the friendliness of all the people working there.

This is a great spot for latin cuisine near the DAL airport. The founder was there waiting tables and running the show with a grace that can only be gained with decades of experience. The food was outstanding, the service was fast, and the whole restaurant was positive and upbeat. A lovely experience.

When I saw that this place had 5 stars with 179 reviews, I couldn't believe the hype. But with the covid scare and my want to support more local businesses, I was excited to give San Pedro's a try. And I am SUPER GLAD that I did, because their food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING The staff was kind and glad to see some people and answered our questions about what each item was. I would highly recommend this place to anybody and everybody! The free baeleda with the yelp app was the BEST part and exceeded my expectations read more

We needed a quick breakfast this morning for our drive out to Dallas and we found this hole in the wall gem on Yelp. We were in a bit of a rush so I forgot to take pictures. My husband and I both got the Breakfast Honduras with Chorizo and a side of plantains. My daughter wasn't hungry but she wound up eating a bulk of our meal because it was so good. They make homemade corn tortillas that taste just like the handmade tortillas we've had in the middle of the Mayan Jungle on a past trip to Mexico. These fresh tortillas are as good as it gets. We will definitely be back when we are out that way. read more

This is probably one of the best places to get brunch and enjoy great cafe con leche. The atmosphere is intimate and because it is a family business, the service is incredible. I got the Desayuno San Pedro's with eggs and steak. Wow, so delicious. Coming back with more friends next time. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but that goes to show how awesome this place is. I came with the bf looking for some authentic Latin American food somewhere in DFW and found this obscure spot next to our favorite ghetto tacos place. The server greeted us immediately and was incredibly amicable. He sat next to us and talked about the menu and helped us find what we wanted, since we're noobs to the cuisine. We started with the Pastelitos Hondurenos, and our entree was Carne Asada and Pescado Frito (a huge, whole red snapper). The food was SO FLAVORFUL. There's really no words to describe how amazing the food was so you're just going to have to come down and eat them yourself! read more

Great little "off the beaten path" restaurant. Ask your server for recommendations, and you won't be disappointed! I tried the cashew drink (mix between pineapple and melon, not too sweet yet refreshing). Whole red snapper was fresh and amazing crispy skin, use your hands and you won't be embarrassed to get to every last bit. Fried bananas were so good too! Also the "tortillas" called Baleada, were so tender and fresh. Our carne asada main dish didn't disappoint, meat was tender and plenty for 2 to share with the fish. Run don't wait to go here for breakfast at 9 or dinner. Breakfast is also served all day! read more

My wife and I were staying in the area and looking for a good place to eat. After reading the reviews, we decided to check out San Pedro's and we were NOT disappointed. The food was authentic, fresh and had great flavors! We had the Carne Asada, San Pedro Pincho and our free Baleada. The meat was tender and tasted amazing! The Horchata is rich and creamy. This place is absolutely amazing! I'm half Honduran so it runs in my blood! They serve breakfast all day which is great. I ordered the desayunó (breakfast) the simple one without meat. They have a full menu that I imagine is all mouth watering. I wiped my plate clean in under 10 minutes (uh oh!) It is all homemade, fresh and hot. The tortillas are hands down the best I've had, can't tell abuelita that. The service that they provide is exceptional. They are super kind and make sure to answer all your questions. It's not often you find different kinds of Latin American cuisine in Dallas outside of Mexican food, so eating at San Pedro's was a refreshing change of pace. The atmosphere definitely gives you a feeling like you've transported to Latin America which I'm sure was their goal. We really enjoyed the carne asada. Meat was tender and flavorful. All the sides it came with were really great and complimentary to the steak as well. Loved the baleadas! The cheesy sauce they put inside there is addicting and the tortilla was warm and fluffy. If we hadn't come here partially filled we definitely would have ordered more. To top it off, the staff was very hospitable and attentive in ensuring we were satisfied throughout our stay. San Pedro's is a quaint family restaurant offering wonderful, fresh and delicious honduran food. They have a minimalistic menu but everything on the menu is cooked fresh and their food tastes delicious. The staff in the restaurant comprised of the two brothers and their mom, and they were really promt and warm and patient as we were trying the Honduran cusine for the first time. The hospitality was excellent! The place was clean and the ambiance was very homely with the game on and some Latin music in the background. The mix plantain was amazing! And their flan was to die for! Their home made sauce was splendid. We tried the platano mixo, baleadas San Pedro and carne Asada. Their dessert option consitisted of one item Flan. But the flan itself was delicious. That we did not miss having options. Definitely value for the money and worth a visit! read more

Really friendly! I highly recommend checking them out. We got the steak and fish plate. It is a hefty portion for a person but a good amount. The pickled onions and cabbage was good but could have had a little less cabbage. The steak with tomato sauce was really good. The fish needed a bit more flavor but with adding sauce was good. The fried plantains were quite good. Overall a great experience! read more

My family and I visited on a Friday and had an amazing experience. They were extremely attentive and their food was delicious. I had the Desayuno San Pedro's with freshly handmade tortillas. As a born and raised Honduran, I was skeptical of how authentic this place was. I'm happy to say I was surprised with authentic cooking from my home, and with people whose friendliness reminds me of my culture and people. The soups are really big and filling, the seafood soup and carne asada are authentic. My only down sides are the following: - the tortillas were dry and not good at all - the seafood soup didn't have any conch in it - the coke was a bit expensive - $3, but authentic The owner and waiters encourage you to become friends with them and you are able to call and order in advance. I've been to about 4 Honduran restaurants here in dallas and this by far the best without question, restrooms were super clean, the service was A1 too and nothing was bad about the food everything was great. Highly recommend to everyone out there looking for an elite Honduran restaurant. read more

My friend and I both had a great experience here at San Pedro's! The owner (I think) seated us, patiently waited for us to look through the menu. The menu is not that big but it was our first time so it took us a bit time to order. The free Baleada was a taste of heaven. It is free and it is delicious, heck yeah! Lol My friend got the Tadajas Con Carne Molida, I got the Pollo Con Tadajas, both of them were amazingly well served. This was my first time having this type of food and I am glad I tried it. Service was awesome, love the owner! This is a family type of restaurant so come check them out. It's worth it. ;) Sorry there is no photos of the food, already got consumed by our hungry stomach. read more

Great customer service. Really friendly and helpful for a newcomer to Honduran food. The dishes I tried were fantastic. Simple, fresh and delicious. I recommend the egg, bean, and cheese balledas, and the fried yucca appetizer. The refried beans in the balledas are some of the tastiest I have ever had. The yucca was perfectly fried. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The accompanying coleslaw was a perfect accompaniment to the yucca. read more

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

Very disappointed. The only reason we came to this place is Yelp. No bad, only good reviews. Our experience was not good at all. This could possibly be partly due to the language barrier. Our food was ordered how we wanted it cooked eggs over easy and steak medium but eggs came out scrambled and the steak was charred and burnt and the food quality and presentation was very poor.. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if the server agreed to correct and bring us what we ordered or at least bring someone else to the table that could help but instead the server ignored us even though we showed the problem the server just walked away then brought us the bill. read more

Saturday at 5PM, it was perhaps too early for any type of dinner rush, cause I was the only person there. The staff did not speak ANY english. That scary moment when you say hello, and the other person stares with no expression. Luckily I could say just enough Spanish to navigate and order everything I wanted without a problem. They seemed to have a smaller menu compared to what Ive seen posted from other people. I only saw breakfast and lunch (in espanol) so maybe I have to come back at a later time for dinner? The interior is not a dump, but its not chic, modern, or inviting either. The best way I can describe it is the type of place you'd see within a courtyard of a mexican bazaar. They blast the music like its a nightclub. I recommend you stay away from the left side of the restaurant if thats going to bothr you. They serve everything on styrafoam plates and plastic cutlerry The area looked clean enough, so theres no complaints on cleanliness. I ordered a baleada mixta, as well as the chuleta plate (pork chop cutlet). The baleada is simple, cheap, fairly big, and cozy like a homemade meal. Their tortillas are legit made in house, because theres no weird starchiness or stiffness in the dough. The ingredients are beans, cheese, eggs, and creama, but damn was it delicious! The cheese they use (im guessing queso fresco) had a lovely tang that gave the meal an extra dimension. I couldnt stop eating this! The chuleta plate felt like I was at a cookout. A seasoned pork chop, served with a cabbage salad, beans, and more plantains than I could eat in one sitting! The chuleta was not super moist, but every bite was well seasoned. I've eaten at Catrachito maybe two dozen times, and each time I've eaten their baleadas (with eggs in them). They are HUGE and cheap (around $2 each, where each one literally weighs like 0.5+ lbs). They are so savory and filling. I have tried many Honduran restaurants in the metroplex, and this is by far the best ones I've tried among them all. The location of Catrachito is located right by Target, it might be hard to miss the entrance based on its location and proximity to the street. It's never been too busy there, and ordering a baleada by phone gets prepared in less than 15 minutes. The inside of the restaurant is not very impressive, but that's okay because baleadas are great good to take on the go or to take home.
