On our way through town needed breakfast for us and the kids found this place through Yelp and decided to stop in for breakfast. All the food Here was really good. The service was definitely an A+ kind of a small place. The interior is a little rundown, but it's not too bad. They had a really big menu with lots to choose from breakfast lunch items. Where do I start? As we entered the restaurant there is a sign to wait to be seated. I walk with a Cain and standing for long periods can become uncomfortable. There is no sitting area to wait for a table. They walked us over to a table that was pretty close to the others around us. I always worry about my Cain falling and hitting someone. We asked if we can have a booth and they asked why and what was wrong with this table. I shared how I worry about my Cain. They said to just try the table. So we all sat down and looked over the menu. It took some time to get a waiter over but when we did she seemed to be in a hurry. We had questions because we had never been here before. She seemed a little annoyed with our questions. We placed our order of drinks and food at the same time. The food was very good we all really enjoyed what we ordered and the serving size for some of our food was very big. The ambiance was kinda thrown together and not a lot of space. It took forever to get our check. We did not get any refills and we felt very ignored. Maybe they were having a bad day or short staffed I'm not sure but we will not be going back. I do need to clarify that the food was excellent. So if you try it I hope you have better service experience than we did. read more

My actual rating is a 4.8, however, because the rating system is 1-5 stars I gave a five. The reason for the 4.8 is it took almost 20 minutes to get a refill on my coffee after I asked for it. The service was good, not great, but good. The atmosphere was perfect. I enjoyed the fish on the TV and the classic rock in the background. I did miss the decor from Maggie's which was here before Scrambled. The food was great. I had Biscuits and Gravy, three eggs and potatoes. While the potatoes stole the show the rest was also very good. My friend, who I treated to breakfast, ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and potatoes. I do not care for Chicken Fried Steak because it usually tastes like cardboard. This CFS tastes great. All in all I recommend Scrambled. It is not Maggie's, but it is a good replacement. read more

I was staying at the hotel across the street so I wandered over to this spot and was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and nicely decorated, not over the top, just right. It was kind of quite and I was seated immediately. The server was super pleasant and accommodating. I got the California omelet and it was very yummy, their potatoes really appealed to me too. They were your bland, run of the mill variety. Had fresh onions and peppers. Very reasonable pricing too. If you compare the value to that of the hotel breakfast...I win! read more

The service was great! We were seated right away and placed our order quickly! No more then 15 minutes later our food had arrived ! We ordered the delicious sunshine breakfast which is 3 eggs, bacon, sausage links, country potatoes, pancakes and biscuits. I was so excited to dig in that I forgot to take a pictures of my food! I'm a firm believer that brunch has a low floor to entry, and it takes an extraordinary restaurant to stand out in the brunch industry. Unfortunately my party and I didn't think Scrambled met at least the expectations of a standard brunch spot. Biscuits and gravy barely had any meat in it, which is always a good touch. Chicken fried steak was smaller than I'm used to, I thought it would be a thickness thing but I'd say the thickness was standard. Potatoes were well seasoned, but we did have we had to season everything else a little more. Menu has good variety but I think the food can be improved! read more

Didn't know what to expect from this breakfast place, but am I ever glad we stopped in. My wife got the California omelette, very tasty, was very happy The Omelette wasn't oily, which she's seen at multiple breakfast places. I got the chicken and waffles. Wow was that a lot of food. Came with 3 eggs, potatoes, chicken and waffles. 2 full plates! Everything was excellent. The waffles were probably the lightest and fluffiest waffles I've ever had. Service was friendly and fast! Food was wonderful. I got a chile relleno omelet and the ranchero sauce on it was some of the best I have ever had. My wife got the French toast breakfast with fruit and that fruit was fantastic. It wasn't the jarred melon stuff you usually get served. It was fresh strawberries, blueberries, grapes, banana and apples. The servers were all very nice. Only complaint is our server never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. It's also nice that they give veterans discount on your meal. The decor is very basic and the dining room is small. Stopped here because it was close to a supercharger and it was an unexpected and welcomed surprise! Menu had everything from eggs benedict to six different types of chilaquiles to incredible pancakes and waffles with all sorts of toppings. Came in here for breakfast today and had a really great experience. Food was made perfectly with great portion sizes. Service was on point and always had perfect timing when checking in on us. By the time we were leaving, the place was getting really busy. Next time I'll bring my big appetite to try some of their full on breakfast meals. Today I did the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and they were great. Thick country gravy was super fresh and very flavorful like a country gravy should be, with big sausage chunks. Hash browns were cooked to golden brown with a nice crisp on the outside and warm and soft in the center. Sourdough toast was nice and thick and all in all great breakfast spot. Found this gem on our road trip. They were very accommodating for a part of 20! We waited about 5 minutes for them to move the tables. Waiters were very attentive and helpful with our questions regarding the menu. The food was really good, I will say if you get the chilaquiles verdes you are in for spice! But my wife and family loved that, super authentic Mexican cuisine. They have beers and coffee what more can you ask for. The food was delicious, waffles, pancakes, Verde Burrito - was pleasantly surprised popped in just wanting a solid meal and found a great place will visit in future. When we got our order, we were highly dissatisfied when there was two pieces of processed battered beef burger that they considered chicken fried steak. Everything was lukewarm except for the eggs, which were the best thing that was in our meal. The potatoes were pink with no flavor the gravy was not good at all and I got a side of salsa that had some of the worst flavor I've ever had.
