    Beef Fried Rice

After having dim sum somewhere else earlier, I enjoyed this place more. The service was way better. Quicker and friendlier. It was busy, but not too long of a wait. We ordered the usual that we always get: steamed prawn dumplings, siu mai, and chicken feet. We also ordered congee, fried rice, and gai lan. We were satisfied, and had some leftovers. My favorite was the beef fried rice; I think it may have been wagyu beef fried rice, but it was yummy.

We've made this dim sum eatery into our rotation when we visit Canada and for many good reasons! First off the dim sum is prepared fresh and comes out piping hot. We have some favs including the egg plant with shrimp paste drizzled with abalone sauce, the prawn rice roll, har gao, shui mai, and fresh scallop and dumpling. Their choices are extensive and includes a variety of non-dim sum items. The service is good despite being super busy especially at lunch and our food came out promptly. The ambiance good with clean table settings and a nice interior.

We had Dim Sum with the family at Sea Harbour Restaurant and it was an incredible experience. While there's ample parking, you do have to drive to the top of the parking structure. Service was excellent. Every single person was friendly and polite. Yes, not your typical chinese restaurant experience. Here is what we ordered Crispy shrimp red rice roll Seared cuttle fish cakes: tasty Juicy beef balls: Best we've ever had. High quality beef with the perfect texture Deep fried egg tofu Baked BBQ pork buns Osmanthus clam, scallop and shrimp congee: AMAZING - MUST ORDER We will be back for dim sum and dinner on my next visit home!

Salted egg yolk bun - the filling was too runny and my flavorful enough Durian mochi - the skin was too thick and durian was not as fragrant as I wanted They forgot one of the dishes and served it with our dessert Overall the other dishes were okay. Atmosphere about the same as other places.

Food was good; order on an Ipad. They came over to change out your dirty dishes a few times. Complementary Asian seaweed mung bean/green bean dessert. Very conveniently located downstairs from River Rock Casino.

This is a more expensive Chinese restaurant but worth it. I was staying at the river rock casino and dropped by here to eat and did not regret. Their green beans and eggplant was cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of seasoning and their beef noodles was amazing we asked for their XO sauce and that made everything even better I highly recommend asking for their XO sauce and putting that on everything and anything! Would definitely come back to try their dimsum

Wow wow. Told my friend that if we visit Seattle we have to go to Vancouver for Chinese food. We came here for dim sum. Not in Vancouver, but a Chinese village in Richmond Canada . Boy was I happy with the food and ambiance. Sea Harbor Seafood Restaurant is located on the bottom floor of an Indian Casino. There's convenient parking, is a transit station, and nearby the Vancouver airport. The first thing you notice is a nice frontage. The lobby is tiny, so you should make a reservation, otherwise you will be left out in the cold, literally. It can get cold outside. Once inside the main dining room I was quickly enticed in: modern, clean, and flavorful scents. FYI. Chinese restaurants are brightly lit. We ordered the basics. I always like to order the basics to gauge and compare dim sum establishments. We order shrimp dumplings (ha gow), pork dumplings (su my), spare pork ribs (pi ga-what), tripe, and sticky rice followed by egg custard tarts and almond/sesame jelly. Ha Gaw is basically shrimp wrapped in a transparent rice wrap that's steamed. It was perfect. The rice wrapping was chewy, but not watery. The shrimp were bite size, fresh, and lightly seasoned. So were the rest of the dishes. Delicate and delicious. There's an art to creating a balance between taste and texture and creating the desire to take another bite. Seafood Harbor creates that balance. Don't take my word for it. There were all kinds of people dining including many high-end clients. The service was professional and delightful. The staff provide a friendly atmosphere. Dim sum = Little bites of delight. I would make a trip from the Bay Area to stop by here. This is my rating system to help you gauge my ratings Anything under three stars is not worth mentioning. Meh. *** stars - Good overall. Some aspects are above the notch: food, service, and or ambiance. Worthy of a visit. **** Stars - Exceptional, short of perfect. ***** Stars - Perfect in all aspects. Food quality, Service, Ambiance

I was staying at the casino hotel for a trade show and wanted a decent meal without walking in the rain so decided to give it a try and it was pretty good. It's not really set up for a single diner but they seated me and took my order. They came back to tell me they were out of the shrimp dumplings I had ordered so I substituted the Sui Mai (not sure of the spelling) another steamed seafood dumpling and it was good. The main dish was a seafood dish in a light broth that was full of large scallops, shrimp, and shellfish that was very good. I would certainly return if staying here again.

Had dinner at Sea Harbour as recommended by a friend. It was weekday night and the binding room was about half full. Great ambiance and the server was very friendly and told us to pander no more than two dishes for two people as the portions are big. We ordered 1lb live spotted shrimps as it was in season. For a second dish, we ordered from the chef special menu (see attached photo). The concept was good as the fish roe added a crunchy component. The dish was mostly glass noodles with a few small pieces of duck liver and small amount of bean sprouts. More bean sprouts and duck liver would have made it a more successful dish. The service was on the slow side: ~10 minutes to take drink orders and 10-15 minutes to pay the bill. The restaurant offers complimentary parking if you park in the designated area, but there were no signs to direct customers outside of the parkade. We came from out of town and had to call the restaurant for parking info.

I haven't been to Sea Harbour since they renovated and decided to see what the difference was! Even in a weekday in the late afternoon (~1:30pm), we still had to wait around 15-20 minutes for a table. For a dim sum restaurant, the tables were decently spread apart and noise was not too loud, which is nice! Not sure how it would be on the weekends though. Tea price was $2.50/pp which is on the pricier side. They had a place to put your tea to keep it hot at all times, which was a nice touch. Also came with a smaller cup that no one really knew what to do with it. We ordered 6 items - see receipt. My favourite was the crispy prawn rice rolls. It was like a spring roll wrapped in a rice roll with a lot of different textures! The custard bun was also quite nice with enough gooey insides for each bite to have a part of it. Overall, I think that their dim sum is on the pricier side and food was just okay. All their items are quite standard compared to other places out in Richmond and wasn't anything too special. Not sure if I'd return for a while. I think they market towards higher-end consumers and their tastes.

Just got off a cruise ship and we heard Sea Harbour in Richmond, Vancouver was a must try Dim Sum near River Rock Casino. We had reservations for 8 at 11:30 and was seated immediately and was glad we had made reservations as it was busy. Great atmosphere with bright lights and felt open and clean. We live where dim sum is plentiful but wanted to try dim sum in Vancouver. We ordered many dishes and dishes were delicious. I would rate it as good as the ones we can get at home. Some of the dim sum was a little different than home so and it was really good. Pricing was high but I'd recommend to try if you want good dim sum. My hubbie didn't like the chow fun as much as the chow fun that we get at home. His favorite was the gin doy with the black sesame. It was excellent!

This is one of our family favorites for dim sum, free parking on level 7 and serving portion is pretty good. The price is more expensive than other places but it has a fine dining decor and ambiance. The service exceeds my expectations as they were quick to refill our tea and bring our hot sauce. Since the place gets busy on weekends they did impose a 90-minute limit if you stop ordering food. Overall I liked the quality of the food, the pumpkin pastry was delicious. Their OX radish cake and chinese donut shrimp rice roll are some of my favorites! The restaurant is spacious and not too loud so you can enjoy the dining experience!

Hei Hei Rice Roll is legit good, totally recommend, even my daughter too, I thought of her ( since she LOVES rice roll and couldn't make it on this trip with me) while enjoying these roll but when I shared with her the photos and mention that we will go back here with her- she already visited. She said it was so good! Hei Hei Rice Roll is located at the Richmond Public Market, oh wow - this place is really popular, on the 2nd visit I was the first in line then the line wasn't so long but while waiting for our order, the line got super long. I was lucky I didn't wait long in line. Best to arrive early. I am not sure what the secret to the rice roll but Wow, it's so thin, silky, smooth texture with the toppings, so great together. The last 2 times we had rice roll with my daughter at Portland and Seattle- followed per Instagram reels- those did not even compare to these rolls. My first visit I got the combo which is the best deals, starts at $15.50 but depends on what you select for the selection for rice rolls and congee. I got the pork & preserved egg congee, shrimp, mushroom, pork rice roll. The 2nd visit I got the combo again, with liver & preserved egg congee, scallop and shrimp rice rolls, but I got my order wrong for the roll- they missed the shrimp. fyi-I found out that bean sprout, corn, toppings are free! Both combo came out to $17. super cheap! Cash only, they take USD but its the same dollar $ value. I wish they take credit cards, hehe. & the Verdict: Yummy, the congee hits the spot for comfort food, loved how it is cooked and they add peanuts too. Love the packet of sauce for the rice rolls, the umami-ness, so good. Best to eat it hot and fresh! Don't forget to ask for chili sauce, to add that extra spicy kick! For now, I am not sure I'll ever find a spot that is closest to Hei Hei for my congee and rice roll fix until I get to visit Richmond, BC again.

We waited approximately 25 minutes which is not bad at all considering how popular this small restaurant is. My mom is vegetarian and my girls had a wonton noodle soup lunch at another spot down the street. So we ordered a few things mainly for my dad, husband and myself: 1) Platter with barbecue pork and chicken (雙拼叉燒香油雞) 2) Half-order of roast duck (半隻脆皮燒鴨) 3) late of roast pork (燒肉) 4) Bowl of rice (一碗米飯) We cleared everything. The meats were juicy, tender, and flavorful. My girls are usually indifferent to Cantonese barbecued meats but they tried it and enjoyed everything as well. They ran out of duck but do not fret because the soya chicken is where it's at. The soya chicken is incredibly tender, even the breast meat is tender. Secondly, it's perfectly marinated and if you dab a little of their homemade soy sauce, it's even better. Eat this with rice and you'll never want another meal in your life. This was easily our favorite dish for the place. Bbq pork and crispy pork are both spot on as well. They give generous and juicy cuts and the crispy pork is, well, crispy. The skin is a nice crunch and the meat is juicy, what more could you ask for? I still salivate and dream of the meat here and I wish we had something like this back in LA cause I don't know who else would make soy chicken as good as here. Cash only so come prepared! If you're a US tourist, they take USD as well but canadian is still the better deal.

I used to come here often with friends and families for breakfast and wanted to see whether it still tasted just as good. We each got two items from the breakfast combo, A through D. A to Cs are our usual options and upgrade to French toast. The eggs were somewhat on the drier side and i personally prefer fluffy ones. The beef noodles and the congee continue to be my favorites. The beef noodle broth is flavorful and the congee definitely comforted my soul. The items listed in D are always a miss. We have tried all items and none of them was delicious. For example, the steamed rice rolls were very doughy. Other times, they were very dry. The items in D sometimes felt like they're frozen dim sum items sold at grocery stores. Service is a hit or miss depending on which server you get. Sometimes you get servers who come and refill tea and provides actual service. Other times, no one comes by at all even when there is no tea in cups, etc.
