Back in town Tucson, Wanted to try the place since I was originally a fan of four seasons, their original restaurant. A little more of a lunch and go atmosphere, but the food was wonderful as with their original restaurant prices were good. The the portions of sushi were generous, and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this as a nice spot to get a quick bite or enjoy a fun Asian fusion restaurant.

Food: marginal. Very lackluster. I had a paddy salad, and it came with a third of a wedge of lettuce and chopsticks?? the flavors are just OK but overly dressed. My friend had a California roll and she said it was decent. Service: do you order at the counter... Ambience: just a little hole in the wall sit down fast food joint. And get this... No restroom at all. I asked and the answer was no. Will I come back? Don't think so.

Seasons Eats is conveniently located next to U of A in a strip center. We were greeted warmly when we arrived, given menus, and told to order at the counter when we were ready. When we did, the staff was friendly and helpful in answering our questions. I ordered the veggie Pad Thai (mild) and my partner got the chicken Green Lava (medium). Our food came out in about 10 minutes. The portions are generous and served in to-go containers, which makes it easy to bring home leftovers. The Pad Thai was fresh and filling, though the sauce was a bit sweeter than I prefer. My partner really enjoyed the Green Lava and said he'd definitely order it again.

We stopped in for a quick dinner on Sunday evening with a craving for Thai food. The place is really casual, unassuming, minimal decor etc. That being said, the food came out quick and was really flavorful. We split the Tom Kha soup with veggies and tofu ($2 up charge) and the pad Thai with shrimp ($2 up charge). I felt that the prices were high for the food being served on paper plates and for the atmosphere of the restaurant being very casual. There's no bathroom available for customers either. I expect $40+ on two entrees to come with a little more ambiance, but portions were good. We had plenty of leftovers for the next day. I would return for to-go soup but this isn't the place to take someone for a nice date. 3.5 stars

Service was fine. Ambiance is definitely casual maybe even below casual. Panang Curry was thin. But tasty. Medium spicy is perfect. I got 8 jumbo shrimp which was definitely filling. It's a $2 up charge for shrimp which is not on the menu. For curry in a to go cup it was $18 which seemed pretty ridiculous (refer back to ambiance comment). For the price I expect rich and delectable. It tasted better the next day and I did have sizable leftovers.

Since this is a mixed Asian Chinese, Thai and Japanese restaurant, they're trying to sell more selections n items on the menu. But getting confused there's no signature dish at all? I thinking they have a positioning issue. I ordered the Pad Thai noodles and it wasn't too impressed... overcooking using with those sweet n sour sauce, no tenderness on the meat of chicken... But there were a good quantity of foods and good services even though not much offering on table service since it's a counter cashier ordering. Overall services staff was nice enough, but the food wasn't attractive enough...

Same as it ever was, minus breakfast and weirdly a bathroom. Four Seasons was my go to for Thai for years I can't even remember how long. When it closed it left a big hole in my eating agenda. I literally ate there 2 to 4 times a month. Drunken Noodles always my go to in times of need of comfort food. I ordered that at Seasons Eats and I was so excited I forgot to take a picture. It was amazing just like I remember almost double in price but that's par for the course. I miss the old place and my favorite chicken fried pork and eggs. On the menu still is hillbilly rice so that's good. I'm so glad it's back in whatever version. It's just like a good friend you haven't seen in a while, you pick up right where you left off.

Went for lunch on a Wednesday and received friendly service at the counter. We ordered the tofu spring rolls and pumpkin curry with chicken. The restaurant is simple and cozy and was located in the old Unitea boba place. The curry was good and came with rice) and pumpkin was just the right texture. The spring roll came a little later than the curry, but it was good with noodles in it. The soda machine wasn't working that day, but luckily they had Thai tea. Will totally return!

I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was. We got the green chicken curry - perfectly rich and had some actual heat to it which I love. The chicken was tender and the veggies had the perfect crunch. We also got a sushi roll, I believe it was the number 29, and it was huge! Everything was well worth the price and we will definitely be back again.

Instead of giving more fish they give Sunomono (pickled cucumber) and Korean seaweed salad I only got one cup of water and tea. Wasn't asked for a refill. This was not what we expected but the staff was friendly and 1/2 patrons at the food hall were eating sushi. The stalls have big energy today and lots of patrons are searching for a seat. Why not give them a chance? The menu is fairly varied for a small pop-up with traditional and deep fried sushi rolls. The female wait staff is handing out egg drop soup samples to everyone, ever those eating pizza and gyros. Looking around, these rolls are huge. We chose the Sonoran roll with shrimp tempora, spicy tuna, spicy crab topped with seared salmon and yuzu sauce. This roll was flavorful and spicy. Another roll was the Samurai with shrimp tempora, cream cheese, avacado wrapped in soy paper deep fried and covered with spicy crab / shrimp mix baked in a spicy aioli and eel sauce. This was our favorite roll with a pop in the tempora shrimp and an uncious taste coupled with a bite. Our third and final roll was the heart attack. Another spicy roll with shrimp tempora, avacado, cream cheese topped with jalepeno, spicy crab and chef sauce. Again, another good roll and a ton of food. This food mall is in an unassuming neighborhood with a smiling server who is hustling like crazy. The sushi was good, unique and tasty. It was a huge amount of food. Give this hard working staff and chance, she is enthusiastic and working hard. To the staff at Samurai Sombrero who are working hard and obviously, not a trained sushi chef. To the public, take a chance, give Samurai Sombrero a try and judge for yourself.

We stayed I think 3 hours and just took our time trying different food items and the only one that needs work is the tempura it was undercooked and not crispy enough. My favorite item was the fried fish, and my cocktail the Pineapple Express. I had read a some reviews before going and we did hear they had a lot of bad reviews from previous staff. The restaurant has definitely turned around from what you've read, so if you had a bad first impression I would recommend going back and trying them again. The one thing I do want to throw out there is the lack of bartenders that's my only call out. My mom wanted an old fashioned and the guy who made it was a bar back and had no experience making drinks. So once you fix that then I think you'll be killing it. So until that happens my rating will be 4 stars, so that way there's a chance for improvement. Next time I'm visiting I will be coming back and hopefully Cassandra is still working, she's one of your best workers.
