Staff us stiff as a stick. I always order my brown sugar mt with half sugar. Sometimes the staff would tell me it is usually not very sweet but they can always accommodate my request. This one, amazingly, told me that can only go 80% and when I insisted, I got a smh and a condescending 'okay'. And when I got my mt (I order 2 identical ones), one is sweet as hell and the other is normal. The cup itself is sticky even after several wipes. First, let me say that I am a huge fan of the mini boba available at the ShareTea chains throughout the Bay. As usual, I ordered my favorite drink: Kiwi Fruit Tea with mini boba replacing the aiyu jelly at 25% sweet and 30% ice. When I received the drink 5-10 minutes later, I was very disappointed. The tea was more tart than usual, which would have been acceptable if that were the only issue. The mini boba were too soft - they were mushy as if they had been overcooked or left out for a long time. There was also something else strange that made me feel like the drink somehow tasted like water even though the tea taste was strong. After a few more sips, I realized that the watery taste came from the mushy mini boba!! I'm fairly certain that this batch of mini boba must have been left in water rather than the usual brown syrup standard for temporarily storing (cooked) boba. I never toss my drinks, but after getting through half of it with my boyfriend, we decided it really wasn't worth it to continue drinking it and tossed it. read more

I got milk tea from here last night. The most important thing about a tea place for me is that they get the tea right. A lot of places taste like milk water and tapioca. Now I have never gotten tea from here before and I was impressed. I ordered pearl milk tea with zero sugar and it was perfect! Their tapioca also tasted really good. Okay, so I've been here three times, and given this place three times to redeem itself, but honestly this tea place sucks. First of all, the prices are absolutely ridiculous, yeah I know rent is high and all, but 5 dollars for one tea!!?!? Second, the lines are ridiculously long, around 5-10 minute wait. Lastly, and most importantly, their teas have a really off taste. Two times I went there they had a potato after smell, and the third time it was extremely creamy. Gross, I don't recommend. DoorDashed an order of 8 teas today; mine was the Taro Pearl Milk Tea with Honey Boba. I have been craving boba for days and I'm soooo disappointment with my taro milk tea, it taste NASTY!! ...the honey pearls were atleast tasty; but not tasty enough to cover up the chemical like taste. Didn't even taste like Taro at all. Every time I tried calling, the recording said, "the google subscriber can be reached at this time." I will never go to this sharetea again. What a waste of money on the tea and using doordash to get my boba that I had been craving. Super sad. =( read more

The employees here seem to hate their job. I go here all the time (at least 3-4/week) but cashiers are always unfriendly, especially the one on Sat 3/31 at around 12:30-12:45pm and the young Latino girl I always see every time I come. They never smile and talk to customers with an attitude. Other gals are pretty pleasant, I like them. If management doesn't do anything about this then I will just take my business upstairs at the food court from now on every time I see those two working because essentially I'm paying their wages and I don't like to be treated like that. The boba place at the food court has the best customer service, they're always smiling and polite and seem very appreciative of customer's business. I've had my fair share of Sharetea drinks at various locations. For this location I got the Strawberry Ice Blend. I was able to adjust the sweetness which was weird because most locations I can't. But I think I ended up getting 50% sweet. I love the strawberry ice blend and think it is normally very good. But this time it just tasted watery and too icy. It wasn't as smooth as other times I get it. I guess the sweetness comes from how much strawberry syrup and if you ask for less sweetness, they put less syrup. read more

I love Boba places, and this was my first time at a Sharetea. I came here last night, and it was pretty crowded. Normally that wouldn't bother me, but it took forever for us to place our order and get our drinks. Once we did, there wasn't anyplace for us to sit either inside the small Sharetea space or outside of it. I ordered a blended ice coffee drink with ice cream because I wanted to try something different. Was it worth $6.50? Definitely not. It wasn't too sweet and the coffee definitely had a nice, bold flavor to it, but I didn't like how the ice cream was placed at the very bottom of the drink (when it appeared at the top of the drink in the advertisement image). I also thought it was lame that they charge extra for things such as boba and pearls, when SO many other boba places do not charge extra. What is boba without the tapioca balls? Next time I'm in the area and I want boba, I think I'll head over to Santana Row and go to Fantasia. read more

She gave us the impression that she didnt want to take our order. On our drink, I ordered 50% sweet, turned out to be 150% sweet. The manager should tell his employees to smile more, especially with them being the first impressions customers see when coming in. We will not bring our business back. read more
